Help me find the perfect fic!
Tumblr media
Hello beautiful people, happy pride for all!
I’ve been missing Good Omens content so much, the only thing that can help is finding a fic that can actually make me feel things.
I’m looking for a romantic, heartstopping fic that either makes me want to live or makes me want to die (it’s a fine line, really).
Here are some requirements:
- It cannot be an AU (i don’t like au’s very much, i want the characters and the universe to be just as they are in the show/ book)
- It has to, at the very least, have a happy ending (it can be fluffy and heartwarming all the way, but i’m good as long as it ends well, it’s okay if it’s angsty or sad before the end tho)
- Either from 1941 or later on (can be post series 2, post series 1, anything that comes after or during 1941)
- Can be spicy, but not too graphic. It has to be more romantic, and has to include kisses, but please do not recommend me purely sexual fics. I need FEELINGS.
- True to the characters and their voices.
That’s it. I really hope you guys have some good ones for me 😭 Thank you thank you 🥀🪽

it’s okay to be upset about the 90 minutes. it really is.
but as it’s been confirmed, we got a bit too close to an actual cancellation, so these 90 minutes are actually a miracle.
if we keep complaining, who’s to say they won’t take that away too? who’s to say they won’t go “alright then, cancelled it is”.
so guys, let’s show some love to Rob and Rhianna for securing us those 90 minutes. at least we have SOMETHING to look forward to.
and again: IT IS DOABLE. I promise it is.

what i mean is that amazon wouldn’t have anything TO almost cancel had the old creep not literally raped women…
all of this is happening because of him.
It’s not Amazon’s fault. It’s not the fandom’s fault and it’s not even the haters who asked for the cancellation’s fault.
It’s Neil Gaiman’s fault. End of discussion. He caused this, because he just couldn’t act like a normal human being and not assault women. He’s done this. And he’s too much of a coward to take the blame and to actually own up to his mess.
I’m so glad he’s out. And i’m glad we still have SOMETHING to look forward to. It’s doable in 90 minutes, guys, and the only reason we have that is because we fought for it. It’s no longer Neil Gaiman’s show. It’s ours.

90 Minutes.
Tumblr media
Although I am glad we’re getting SOMETHING, it still hurts that we’re getting so little. We deserved better, our show deserved better.
But, as a film major, I do believe it’s doable. Here’s how I would use the time we have to make GO 3 make sense and be satisfying for the fandom.
Structure: 90 min is about the length of 2 GO episodes. So let’s count on no filler scenes, focus on the main cast and on tying up the main conflict of the narrative.
In 90 minutes we need to have:
1- Reunion of the two protagonists;
2- A basic understanding of what the event is that brought them to meet again (probably the second coming);
3- At least ONE flashback from old times, (hopefully 1941, cause that story is not over);
4- Conflict, climax, resolution.
What I think it’ll look like:
- Something Big is gonna happen all at once: if in seasons one and two we got anticipation, in season three we’ll be in the eye of the hurricane already, the intense, chaotic, dramatic and climactic moment will happen with no warning or preparing for the characters.
- During the chaos, Crowley and Aziraphale will have to join forces, and throughout the events of the episode they will have to talk, which will lead to their reconciliation, while they try and save the world.
- Side characters will appear and have their big moments, but since we have little time, it’ll mainly focus on C and A, switching from action mode to talking through the madness.
- In the end, the epilogue, if you will, we’ll get South Downs Cottage, and an overall vision of what the world looks like now for them and for the other characters, hopefully.
Is it doable? Yes. Is it ideal? Far from it.
But it’s all we got. 90 minutes. Fuck Neil Gaiman.
