How to Cut Posts on a Computer:

It seems like once again Tumblr has changed things around so now the editable reblog feature on the newxkit isn't working. I did some research and I found another new xkit add on for Chrome by the same creator as the original. It's called Xkit rewritten. I have installed it and used it to cut posts. I have taken screen shots to show everyone how to use this.

note: someone may have mentioned this before in the OOC and I didn't pay close enough attention. I remember someone saying something about editing posts in the drafts.

Once you have it installed it will show up under the add on button at the top of your Chrome:

Once you click it, it will pull up the menu of extensions they offer. Look for the Trim Reblogs and make sure it's turned on:

Once it's turned on make a post or draft and then you'll be able to trim. The icon to trim it will show up at the bottom of the post:

Click the scissors and it will bring up a box where you can select the posts to trim:

Once you select the ones to trim hit the Trim! button and then the post will go from being long to being cut. I have been refreshing my dashboard once I hit Trim!
