The only way to ensure the security and privacy of your personal data is to encrypt it before the information is transmitted and do it is such a way that it can’t be compromised. Think of it this way…instead of walking to the bank with a million dollars of cash that could be stolen by anyone, bring a check to the bank…or better yet, tear the check in half and carry half of the check to the bank and give the other half to someone else. The money represented by the check can’t be stolen or compromised. Of course, electronic systems are much more sophisticated than this, but you get the idea.
