Theory time:

PB is going broke.

The marketing is going back to its roots, which is what originally drew people in. The non cover and description change was marketing. They wanted more people to pick up the book so that they’d spend more on it. They started pumping out books to add to quantity and missed on quality. So instead of people reading them and spending on them, now they are just using them for diamond mines and don’t have to buy so many. The fandom is dying off slowly, and the market itself for apps that are similar are growing more saturated and are actually starting to be a competition. TE and PM ended so suddenly because A:they aren’t offsetting the cost for the authors or B: they are having to downsize and redistribute authors, or C both. This also explains them selling the rights to HSS to a Chinese game company. Could be completely wrong. Buuuuut I’m usually not. I know this post is chaotic and a hot mess to read but here it is in its raw unedited format. Feel free to add to the thread with valid proof or debunk proof. Love to hear y’alls thoughts.

this is for anyone who’s hurting over someone who left them. you are not alone. you are not the first person who’s been left behind by someone they loved more than they loved themselves. i know it feels like the end of the world and that it won’t ever get better but it will. it’s okay to be hurting and sad right now but eventually you have to let go. you are not the only person in the history of love and relationships to be left heartbroken and devestated. it has happened to millions of people before you. but they got through it. and maybe they’re with the love of their life now. or maybe they’re finally learning to love themselves. either way they got the happy ending they deserve. and so will you. so please be patient and keep healing and growing. i believe in you.
