Honestly just getting this one off the table at this point. I've been struggling recently to keep myself painting.

It's a Clan Snow Raven Gossamer VTOL, decked out in the colors of the Gamma Garrison Galaxy.

This is a kitbash I threw together after playing one in a game (3 clan MPLs on an 11/17 mover is tasty).

I'd found a random gamepiece that somewhat matched the center-lift-fan of the artwork, and then went wild with some 3d print castoffs and greenstuff.

Finally finished up the last of the Smoke Jaguars I had to do... but it's rekindled my love of the scheme lol. Probably going to do more of them... especially with how good the base came out on the Fire Moth

Just a quick one-off, as a present to a friend (who is only kinda into Battletech)

it's a King Crab (the ugggggly old metal model) from clan Cloud Cobra's Pharaoh/Temple Keshik!

i reallly didn't like this mini- the torso and arms are a single piece, with two spindly little legs that dont quite align with the holes they attach to (and the casting mold wear is realllly apparent)

hopefully it survives the plane ride to my friend, but we'll see

hopefully i can bounce back into some more painting, been having some trouble getting anything going recently

I've been sitting on this a while and I am so excited to finally share the news... I wrote something! And you can read it! Along with a bunch of other great fanfics set in the BattleTech universe!

ive been spending soooooo much time on my new Hells Horses Trinary and somewhat burned out

so heres a distraction Akuma, from the Pesht Regulars because switching schemes might help me wrap things up!

Work in progress. Really excited to share this batch of Regulans. I've been looking forward to painting an Atlas and an Awesome for a long time, and they were every bit as fun as I imagined!

Something I did learn... as much as I love Two Thin Coats, their Flare Orange leaves a lot to be desired. It doesn't work well as a base coat, as it is far too translucent. Instead, I mixed my own equivalent using 2 parts Yellow Flame and 1 part Demon Red.

However, the Flare Orange did work very well to paint the individual panels after applying the wash. Here, its translucency actually helped it leave a smooth finish in just ... two thin coats lol

I just wrapped up this batch of 2nd Canopian Light Horse!

It took me a while to get the snow right... thought i could make do without microballoons but they make an enormous difference.

This is also my first stab at digital camo. It's intense and I'll just leave it at that lol

i will not buy a battletech force pack. battletech forcepacks are the wallet killer. i will imagine how cool new battlemechs will be and allow it to pass through me.

First time getting the lightbox out in a while.

This one combined a lot of techniques that are new to me. The glow on the crystal was the most difficult. Fortunately my fellow BattleTech fans helped walk me through the process, for which I am very grateful lol.

The bird on the back was hand painted, and yeah it made me sweat. It was so intimidating! I can see why some painters really don't like this scheme.

This may be the best mini I've painted so far. And the Turkina was a joy to paint.

calling it done before i accidentally ruin it (again, the varnish somehow stained half the panels and I had to redo them)

did this (lazy kitbash) Ebon Jaguar E up as the first of a mixed trinary i have planned for my Clan Hell's Horses Fire Horse Galaxy

not sure how well my camera is picking up the panel gradient, but i think this was a nice first-try at glazing

wrapped these up just before the weekend, but forgot to share

Mostly just chipping away at the backlog, but here's some Hastati Sentinels, and Ryuken-Hachi... which of course have two very similar looks (charcoal grey vs black bases, and gold detailing)

ive tried to keep them visually distinct enough, but i feel like until ive got time to decal them all they're easy to mistake

For the Ryuken, a Chimera CMA-2K, a Dragon II DRG-11K, a Rokurokubi RK-4K, and a Hatamoto-Suna HTM-30S (who's hips were so wide I was able to magnetize his torso!)

And on the Republic's side, a Scarabus, a Wolfhound, a Griffin GRF-3M, and a Battleaxe

been a bit too depressed to paint or post anything up until recently, but I was able to wrap up these fellas over the weekend!

They're in my weird little merc scheme, and probably the last ones I'll do like this. the checkers take forever

The Wolverine -7K, Loki MKII, and Schiltron have been painted for a bit, but the Nightsky, Enforcer, and Warrior helicopter are new.

aaaand the second lance of the Hastati Sentinels that I've been working on.

From left to right, a Nyx, a Blade, a Jackalope, and what I'll be using as a proxy for the Stalking Spider II (because the IWM model is stupid ugly)

Just to note, the proxy is the Strato Minis Studios "Arachne".

A bit rushed, but passable work I got done in between prepping for the chaos campaigns I've been running...

Just the first lance of the Republic of The Sphere's Hastati Sentinels I've been working on.

From right-to-left, a Thunder Fox, a venerable Grasshopper, a Marauder IIC, and a Kheper.

Wow, I think these have been in progress since before I moved...

A lance (and a spare, because their own lance isn't ready yet) of Capellan Red Lancers!

From right to left, a Sha Yu, a Lu Wei Bing, a Shen Yi, a good old Wolverine II, and a FireBee.

The Sha Yu's arms have been kitbashed a bit, to be different enough to call a SYU-6B

Kinda sick of the scheme now, I'm probably going to finish up the last lil mech and leave it at a demi-company instead of a full one.
