just imagining how much potential sissi as a character had and MAN it makes me so sad like

i def think she shouldve joined the group later on, or at least maybe not have become as mean as she was in later seasons, because early on in the season, shes actually shown during the stress of xana attacks to be pretty damn rational and nice!! was she nosy and did she cross boundaries at times? absolutely, but honestly, everyone in the show has their flaws, and i think she couldve developed and overcome them. its just frustrating that her development got erased over and over again by not only the return trips, but by the inability of the writers to portray her as anything but a minor antagonist. she DID get better as a person briefly in later seasons, but then s4 regression happened (as it did with all of the characters, which i like to think as happening due to the heightened stress of dealing with xana which ALSO affected her indirectly but ill talk about that later)

shes been shown to have some medical capabilities (what with making ulrich a sling that one time) and being pretty protective (like with millie during the zombie attack), and just... like, even if the others didn’t tell her the secret, she couldve been maybe friends with them. give me scenes where she spies injuries on them and doesnt ask questions, but helps them out and gives them advice when something may need actual medical care. shes helped them without question before (season 3 i think?), so it isnt beyond her character. give me some sad, quiet resignation, give me conflict where she feels like shed never really be one of them even if her relationship with them improved— and then, a super satisfying moment where they finally do tell her. or maybe she joins late in the game and the others dont get the chance, but when xanas defeated, they open up anyways and shes just glad that whatever theyd been dealing with, theres this unquestionable sense of relief that tells her that the worst is over.

i also think an interesting approach about why she became so genuinely meanspirited later on in the show couldve been acknowledged as bitterness towards the gang’s secretiveness and closed-offness— because hell, sometimes, these guys could be straight rude to her to hide their secret. even in season 1, when they did return trips, they’d have their little inside jokes and be pretty unwilling to let anyone in. in later seasons, they straight up use sissi to avoid getting in trouble and then ditch her when shes no longer needed. maybe this couldve been brought up in a final cumulative argument with ulrich, where she goes off and says “i tried to be friends. i tried to be involved, i tried to be nice, but you all shut me out and ditched me and i don’t understand why” and that’s kind of the eye opener for them. that in their struggle to fight xana, they maybe havent realized how their methods affect people other than themselves. maybe they arent as good at managing damage control as they thought they were

idk, i just feel like a more sympathetic view for sissi couldve been really cool? her obsession with ulrich was def uncomfy at times, but dammit, i feel like that couldve been resolved with a serious discussion between the two of them and some time

The year of 2013 was full of twists and turns for the company Moonscoop, holder of the license to Code Lyoko. We have summarized together some articles about the rough year that Moonscoop had in the update of our press review page. Moonscoop was finally bought out by the publisher Dargaud. So someone was asking about my custom Code Lyoko rounds in Hunger Games Simulator and they wanted highlights so here’s some of my personal favorite screenshots from all of the rounds we did yesterday:

code lyoko vs. mlb

soooo guys. i just noticed something. everyone knows about mlb obviously, but you may also know about the show called code lyoko. yes. everyone's childhood. cartoon network. miguzi block. that was the shit back in our days when we were 7-10 years old.

so i just found out something today. when i was bored i decided to open up the code lyoko wiki page and i found out that thomas astruc (who is the creator of miraculous) also worked on code lyoko as one of the storyboarders. maybe he was so inspired by the show that in 2014 he decided to make his own show called miraculous ladybug. and what about it? well...

you may notice that there are similarities between those two cartoons.

1. both take place in paris, france.

2. all heroes go to the same school.

3. there is one main villain. (X.A.N.A./Hawkmoth)

4. the victims get posessed by the villain. (the victim is xanafied/akumatized)

5. the posessed victims seek after one or more specific people. (X.A.N.A. seeks after aelita, who has keys to lyoko/hawkmoth seeks after lb and cn's miraculous)

6. to stop the madness, heroes have to transform (kids are sent to lyoko/marinette and adrien transform to lb and cn)

7. one specific hero has to take the final step to defeat the villain. (aelita has to deactivate the tower/ladybug has to break the akumatized object to de-evilise)

8. after defeating the villain, the victim who was posessed doesn't remember anything by the time they were posessed. ("what happened? where am i? what am i doing here?")

9. everything needs to be set back to normal by going back in time, so people wouldn't notice the damage. ("tower deactivated." - aelita; "return to the past, now!" - jeremie/"miraculous ladybug!")

10. the cycle is repeating itself every episode.

11. there is one cat hero. (odd/chat noir)

12. there is always one meanie in each show. (sissi delmas - school principal's daughter/chloé bourgeois - city mayor's daughter)

you notice how many things are similar?
