hey guys, a little update. some things have been going on the last couple days in my life and my depression has hit an all time low so I think I’m going to put this blog on HIATUS for the next two weeks while I get my shit back together. jaerim looked up at him mildly surprised by taehyun’s response. he couldn’t quite tell if the other male was joking or not. although surprise was quickly replaced by annoyance when taehyun loudly proclaimed that jaerim was short as though jaerim hadn’t just told him so. he tried to stand but before he could even get off his knees taehyun was knocking him back down. he almost wished that taehyun would just get on with it. but nothing ever seemed to quick with him. “what do you want.” if he had another day maybe it was possible jaerim could scrape together enough cash to make the rest of the payment. “otherwise if you’re gonna kill me just fucking do it.”

“ah, ah. its no fun if I tell you things...now is it? I asked you what is in it for me, right? so use that pretty head of your for something other than target practice.” its the same condescending tone that he always has -- those dark orbs glimmering maliciously because for him it’s so fun! he loves to give people just a little hope and depending on his answer he can either snatch it away and watch that light leave his eyes or he’ll leave here with even more exciting things to look forward too tomorrow. isn’t it fun for him either way at that point? but his little show of bravado ( or stupidity ) only causes him to rol lhis eyes as he reaches down to grab the others collar and drag him forward. “ah, too many hits to the head and you’ve gone stupid. can’t you hear? what did I just say? can you repeat it?”

yeongsil looked the young woman up and down. “lost?” he repeated out loud. it wouldn’t be the first time a human had gotten lost in his woods. they really were terrible with directions sometimes. he moved closer to her, noting from her dress that she seemed to be a noblewoman. “and if i were to help you find your way home what would be in it for me?” he asked finally. “i don’t do anything for free, you know.” surely whatever rumors the humans shared about him included that much. or maybe they just thought that he ate livers and killed lost travellers for fun, it was hard to tell.

it had been a dare from her husbands older brothers -- go into the woods and grab a plum that was at the foxes lair. if she did that then they would get their brother to lay off her for a time. it was a stupid reason, a stupid want but the idea of her life becoming even a little more peaceful had been something she was desperate for. so she agrees as they laugh at her and plunges head first into the woods -- only that was many hours ago and now she was lost, confused, and irritated. that’s when he shows up before her like the devil. “what is it that you want?” she asks him with a tilt of her head, eyes guarded. “I’ve only come for a single plum and yet now I don’t know where I’m at!” a huff and she stomps her feet in a very unladylike fashion.
