there wasn’t any sign that said he shouldn’t smoke there. taking a drag on it a girl speaking up had him furrowing his brow. “ me..? ” he asked tapping the ashes off the end of his cigarette on the pavement he ran his free hand through a short crop of hair. “ i’d tell you to take it as a sign that maybe you aren’t destined to read it. -- in all honesty i’m not the one to ask about that kind of stuff. i’m not that big of a fan of books. “

Daisy was sitting outside of a coffee shop, reading a book. It’s been forever since she was able to read in peace but when she went to turn the page she accidentally knocked over her coffee causing it to spill all over her book. she frowned and looked up at the person near her, “my book is ruined. should i buy another or should i just keep it?”

he was seated at the end of the mindlessly scrolling through facebook he only looked up when his attention was called for. he quirked an eyebrow at the obvious annoyance written on the others face. “ i’m good. actually. just taking a breather. “ there were several ways he could poke and prod and maybe annoy the other but he took the safest route with a simple statement. “ seems like you’re having a FUN night though. “ 

The bar was loud as it usually was this time of night. Emily had spilled a drink down her shirt while she was cleaning up, and her night seemed to go downhill from there. She wasn’t the only person working, but it sure did feel like it. Her co-workers were no where in sight, and it only added to her frustration. When she noticed another customer sitting at the bar, she groaned before leaning over on the counter. “What do you want? I don’t have all night.”

the same one that had words he’s terrified of, who had him wrapped around her pinkie finger, had been talking to her ex the whole time they were together. it was her trying to figure which was the better pick(and also her trying to make the ex jealous with how unattainable she was shown perceived as being). their was a lot of lying a manipulating and so many holes in the walls of the home him and his siblings were staying at when it had all happened. he says it didn’t affect him but considering the fact he keeps on asking everyone he’s been in a relationship with since if they still like him kind of hints at the fact it did.

💗 What advice would they give a potential partner about making their relationship last if they could with no judgment?

maybe try to be as romantic as he is with them. try and keep up with his take on wording things. don’t take certain things he says too terribly personally(he speaking with his mouth before his brain and heart have any say in things he probably doesn’t mean some of what he says). he knows he can be an ass, just don’t rub it in. just hug him. so him you care. and “be fucking considerate of how i feel and don’t use me.”

he thought he was. it sure felt like it was. felt like they were with the things they were doing and things they were saying that weren’t exactly the word love. had the stupid butterflies in his stomach and everything. he’d get so excited to hear her brought up in conversation and actually start beaming when he saw her. three little words dangled off the tip of his tongue threatening to spill out every time he’d press a kiss to her lips.

actually not that easily. he’s kind of stubborn and out of tune with emotions like that. the boy needs work. he won’t admit to anything or open up in that sort of sense to just anyone.

while part of him would say he prefers being the asker, he’d also say it’s something else that someone has that much interest in you that they asked you. bravery is a quality the boy admires too.

💖 How do they say ‘I love you’ without really saying it?

casper becomes kind of...  clingy in a relationship. and he loves showering his s/o with affection whenever he can. he can also be a tad insecure because even he knows he can be an ass and is afraid of chasing them away. he tends to be a bit softer and mushier with someone he’s involved with. so his unspoken ‘i love you’s come in the form of breakfast in bed, cuddling them in his sleep, being increasingly touchy feely(not sexually. he’ll hold their hand or grab them by their waist or maybe put his head on top of theirs), and just being out of character to how he presents himself to other people most of the time. he’s also terrified of actually saying those three little words, it’s like pulling teeth trying to get him to say them.

maybe once in high school. when NO ONE was piping his interest and he watched the people around him pair up. he grew to understand that some people like the opposite gender, some the same, others both, and the rest(the category he falls in) are just waiting for that magical almost unicorn like person that makes them do a double take and just has them wrapped around their finger.

no. casper is loyal in a relationship. he’s not exactly mr. suave with his words and is well he doesn’t like to say it -- but he is -- picky. so he counts himself lucky and is extremely over the moon happy whenever he finds himself with someone. and wouldn’t dare risk it with something like cheating.

he’d been there, at the bar, all night. waiting on siblings that had DRAGGED him out of -- what they called -- his rut. a girl occupying the space next to him pulled him from his thoughts and he chanced a glance at her. picking up the white russian that had been sitting on counter in front of him he took a sip before ATTEMPTING something resembling small talk. “ enjoying the party..? ” 

Meg walked around looking for the bar. The small blue dress was making her feel a little too uncovered. But her friends begged her to wear it. Said she needed to have fun and get laid. She finally walked over to the bar and smiled at the bartender. “For once I don’t have to serve the drinks. Rum and coke please.” She asked softly.
