A long time ago I made this set. I still think it's pretty good, but i wanted to make some little tweaks, add some new RCs, and send it out again for anyone who missed it the first time!

What it is: A LOT of wall and surface frames, all repo'd. This upload doesn't have any art included, just frame recolors. I use these for sim documentation photos, so they can have pictures of themselves... but you do what you like with them.

If you have them already: chuck the old files and put these in their place. Nothing will break. OR, you could leave them and just add the new RCs: that'll work fine too.

What changed (meshes) : I tweaked the catalog text strings and the file names so that they match each other better. I also removed references to my real name in favor of my internet handle, since that's less confusing and more easily searchable.

What changed (RCs): I've replaced all the textures with new versions, fixing two small errors that were bugging me. First is the fact that the edge of the matte was picking up the frame RCs (actually on the fence about if I liked the old version better, if you preferred that, let me know I might make a second version if enough people ask). Second there was a blotch on the side, you probably never noticed... but I DID. I also merged the packages for color sets and named them a bit better.

What's new: In addition to the updated aliea colors (select colors on the wall meshes) I've made two new sets: black frames with cludo mattes, and icad wood colored frames with black mattes. Those are pictures on the surface meshes (only some of the icad colors shown).

3t2 Bistro Windows, Door, & Walls

Onto the bistro!

Today I have a door, a window (1- & 2-tile variations), a bohemian roof window (with a roof recolor), and eight walls. Lots of preview pics and notes under the cut.

This rabbithole has some great meshes, but many of the windows look like ones that already exist in TS2 game or in the TS2 CC community at large, so I decided to focus on the two windows that were unique. I also fell in love with the wooden front door so you're getting that as well.

Here's what's included:

A shuttered window with metal railing, flowers, and optional curtain or clear glass textures (single-tile is the PARENT mesh). Note that the iron railing and the flowers are repo'd to in-game textures (the "Just Visiting" Flower Box window and the Linear Eloquence Fence) so they are not currently recolorable.

My personal favorite: a new window on the bohemian roof. It's repo'd, so it will pick up any recolors you might already have to the original roof.

But I've also included a recolor of the roof piece so it can look just like the TS3 bistro:

Next, we have the aforementioned beautiful door. I liked the little curtain details so I kept those on, but I've included a clear glass recolor too.

And lastly, the eight walls. These include a 4-set family of brick patterns, a 3-set of white walls, and the beautiful blue paneling from the first floor.

Add-On separated maxis clutter

I'm renovating a restaurant in my game and it occurred to me that two of the maxis sculptures would actually make decent clutter if separated into stand-alone object for more placement freedom. So I went and did that, and I figure someone else might benefit. So here's a random creation.

Flavorful Necessities - Separated into two parts, costs 95 each, deco/sculptures (668 and 460 poly) Bit of This and That - Separated into six parts, cost 20 each, deco/sculptures (110 to 332 poly)

All repo'd to the original maxis items.

I made ketchup/mustard in combined and separate versions, because I want mustard houses and ketchup houses and all condiments are okay houses, but if you are less crazy I would consider picking one or the other :P

Open Buffet Tables Functional for The Sims 2

This is a 4to2 conversion from Somik&Severinka, low poly when empty and high poly when they are full (12k each). These 6 tables works like the buffet table in game but they have 10 different food on them. Expect for the Master file, they are all slaved each other so you need to have everything in your download folder for them to work properly.

UPDATE: Cooking is Fun! - Candy Factory

One day, as I was playing the Sims 2 Ultimate Collection, I took my Natural Cook Sim to the Cuisine Hobby Lot.

She won the Cooking contest 💅💅

Then, her fun was super, super low, so I took her to the Chocolate Factory career reward that is present on the Cuisine Hobby Lot and....

Alas... Maxis barely coded any FUN into a CHOCOLATE FACTORY.

WHAT

Anyways, I made an update because of this to Cooking is Fun.

This mod is an edit of Fway's Food/Prep Skill for Traits!

Now, Natural Cooks (if they have the 3t2 trait for Natural Cook) will gain more fun from the Candy Factory. Childish Sims also gain some fun bc why not? It's a chocolate factory!!!

I also made a non-traits version. For this version, (it has cuisine hobby in the file name) Sims with the One True Hobby of Cuisine will gain more Fun from using the machine!

I added bonus features as well to the traits version.

Absent-Minded and Clumsy Sims now have a high chance of failure from making chocolates. Natural Cooks never fail. If Sims have none of those traits, the BHAV checks for skill. For Absent-Minded it's 35% and for Clumsy, it's 25%. If the random chance primitive operation works in the Sim's favor, then it checks for the Cooking skill!

Does not conflict with any hacked chocolate machines, and if you DO have a hacked chocolate factory, send it to me and I can add trait support to it, but it may use CandyFactoryGlobals ... Idk how that works currently lol

In fact, I am open to requests for adding traits stuff to hacked objects! I remember someone maybe asking about pottery... I don't remember just hop in my DMs! Traits modding is pretty fun!

Protein Shakes Blender: Smoothies & Milkshakes - for The Sims 2

These are 4to2 conversions from Somik&Severinka, low poly.

These smoothies and milkshakes are an add to the Protein Shakes Blender I made some time ago.

If you already have it you need to add the new recipes and replace the old main package file (it's all in the archive).

If you don't have it you need these new files from here and the shakes and recolors from the old download.

In this way your blender will prepare the protein shakes but also these new smoothies and milkshakes.

Multiple set bug fixes have been made from 4/20/25 through 4/24/25. All set main archives have been updated to reflect these fixes. However since they are single files here and there they are being provided as a standalone archive for convenience for a period of time. Loads 'O Laundry 2.0

Bug fic applied to grabbing dirty clothes piles, Go To Relative Position has been changed from "Anywhere near, facing" to "Anywhere near, any direction" for when clothing drops "facing" inaccessible directions to sims. Sims should now be able to pick them up without further issues.

Quali-Tea

The recipe note pad states that for batch teas to multiple ingredients by 5, and the pots were only using 1 water bucket. This was actually intended behavior to make 5 cups of certain teas with 1 bucket per batch. The note pad recipes have been updated to reflect that water remains one a 1 bucket needed basis and other the proper amount of other ingredients needed for batch making.

Dalish Tea Pot had some brewing errors as well as dialog errors. Should now be able to properly brew elfroot singles/batches and royal elfroot singles/batches.

A bug report was submitted about the Drying Tea Life pile reverting back to Fresh status if placed in inventory. This is not a bug, and is intended behavior.

SIMS 2 TIPS AND TRICKS #2

Is your carpool not coming for your Sim’s job? It may be that, if its a custom career, the file is bad.

Or you may need Batbox! (FFS Lot Debugger)

Click on Batbox and “Force errors … on All”… WITHOUT TESTINGCHEATS ENABLED …. and then this will reset carpool portals! You may want to use the “set hour” cheat to take your Sim to the time before the carpool was supposed to be there to do this (This Batbox option resets everything on the lot including Sims)

If this doesn’t work, get these buyable car portals HERE:

Plop them down like the instructions say.

The “car entering” portal goes where you think it does: where you see cars enter the lot!

Car exit portal goes on other end of road.

Car park goes somewhere in middle.

You may not need to replace them. With that mod, there is a yellow flamingo (found in build mode, two-story windows) that will make all portals visible on the lot - you can check their placement using that flamingo.

Out of luck? Well, if you ever have a situation where that car pool is just not coming, and your Sim is becoming late, just use the “set hour” cheat!

— Type in “set hour X”. “X” needs to be the hour at the exact moment when the carpool arrives, which is always an hour before your Sim’s shift starts. So, if my Sim starts her shift at 6 PM, then I need to “set hour 17”. X= 17 here because Sims 2 cheats, and SimPe, reads Military time! 1700 hours = 5 PM.

—Resetting the time like this gives the game another chance to spawn the carpool.

⚡ Simple Laundry Update

- Improvements for apartments: sims won't consider neighbor's laundry objects, unless they're standing in neighbor's apartment - Maids will stay on the lot and wait for a washing machine to finish, so that they can dry or put away clean clothes - Your sims will get motive bonuses if non-family members do their laundry on livable lots (i.e. if you influenced them) - Disallowed washing clothes on Hotel lots, 'cause hotel housekeepers ARE CURSED - Laundry bag no longer slowly fades, but quickly disappears, after sims put away clean clothes from washers/dryers, 'cause slow fade was too slow - A configuration of ChangeOutfitLeaveClothingPile(100%) where sims drop clothes almost every time if there are no hampers, even neat sims; and if there are hampers, sloppy sims still sometimes leave a pile (closer to how it works in sims 3 & 4) - More expensive machines work faster - Edited prices; a dryer costs $1 more than a washer from the same set, 'cause I kept confusing them in the catalogue!

Hi everybody!

It's been a while, hasn't it?

I've been exploring the new neighborhood street editing tool in SimPE and I've been loving it. I've been editing terrain in the game itself and I want to start my own city soon. I've been brainstorming ideas and editing and cloning game objects to make small changes. Like the bush I'm showing you today.

I really wanted a thinner bush that could act as a green wall to place behind fences or next to walls. I positioned the bushes so that they would be exactly behind the fences but if you need to move them, use the game's cheats like "Boolprop snapobjectstogrid", "boolProp Allow45DegreeOfRotation true" and "SetQuarterTilePlacement".
