Learning Outcome 1 - Identifying Strengths And Areas For Growth
Through CAS, I really got to recognise and see my abilities as well as my limitations. In bouldering for example, the beginning was tough. I struggled with balance technique and strength but noticed measurable growth overtime. The physical challenge I faced help me recognise the value of consistency and evaluation. Similarly, thanks to my tutoring I realised that I had the knowledge necessary but locked the communication skills. Both experiences showed me how self-awareness and reflection can lead to focused personal growth.
Learning Outcome 2 - Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the process
The best example I think I can give, would be my snowboarding. Dangerous, outdoors and extreme. Despite my worries and initial hesitation, I persevered and improved. Also, my trip to the desert as well as my trip to Fuerta, showed me how not everything needs to be perfect, but rather needs to be felt. In bouldering every wall is in a new challenge, pursuing those challenges and not backing down it is what helped me get stronger and better.
Learning Outcome 3 - Demonstrate how to initiate and plan a CAS experience
Many of my CAS experiences required significant planning structure. Tutoring meant: planning, organising, goal setting and pacing. My work in the kitchen, like the post workout burritos for the Gordon Ramsay style eggs require me to think about timing and ingredients. The bouquet, required me to comprise an idea of how to reflect character and mood into a bundle of flowers. Such an undertaking and all the others showed just how much initiative and planning goes into a CAS experience.
Learning Outcome 4 - Show commitment to and perseverance in CAS experiences
CAS taught me that progress is not linear. Throughout my bouldering journey I hit plateaus as well as streaks of rapid progress. Photography is an art of patience, commitment and a clear vision. Without the ability to commit to an experience my whole CAS project would not have been possible.
Learning Outcome 5 - Demonstrate the skills and recognize the benefits of working collaboratively
Open days at Raszyńska is waht opened my eyes to the beauty of collaboration. Whether it was in the lab or in the aula, we worked better together. We shared responsibilities, gave each other support and altogether made it possible to orchestrate such a complex event.
Learning Outcome 6 - Demonstrate engagement with issues of global significance
Although my trips abroad we're not focused on global issues, local experiences help me get a better grasp of the world I found myself in. Through photography I attempted to capture the soul of the moment. When comparing photos from Warsaw and Morocco, the contrast showed me that global issues can often arise from how we frame and respond to our surroundings. CAS make me aware of how we create the real reality we interact with and how shared interactions shaped the world were in.
Learning Outcome 7 - Recognize and consider the ethics of choices and actions
reflection on the ethics of certain experiences came at unexpected moments. Throughout my tutoring journey, I prioritised intuition over memorisation. This contious choice arose due to my belief that real connection and understanding matters significantly more than just surface lever familiarity. The same happened during my Rasz open days. When engaging in converastion with the visitors, I attempted to portray the school how I see it. These seemingly mundane actions, CAS showed me to be significant and impactful. Everyday decisions DO carry ethical weight.

CAS experience in DP1
When talking about my CAS experience in DP 1, I find it best to focus on the seemingly simple question: "-What abilities and skills did you develop most significantly in CAS?".
CAS was a jurney, a wild adventure stretching a little over 8 months. This magical 8 months filled with cooperation, family bonding, art, sport and creativity like nowhere else, offered me a unique opportunity to develop myself and those around me in ways I could never have for seen. To start off, I'd like to talk about the C of CAS. At the very begging of my jurney, I doubted myself. I couldn't see myself doing photography, dishing out multicultural meals or even longing for the next sunset. as my journey went on, deep inside of me I felt a calling, calling so vivid and so intense I could not have said no. It was CAS that prompted me to start this journey, however once this journey took off there was only one person holding the steering wheel. As I developed alongside my project, I started noticing some changes. My ability to confidently snap a photo, without thinking twice. At the very beginning my perspective on photography was that what matters is the photo, how others would perceive it. However, with more photos and more reflection came a sudden change. I started to not look at the photos but at the scene in front of me. I developed a deep bond between each scene I was photographing and I tried to capture that bond knowing that what matters most was how I felt the moment I was taking the photo. I started enjoying the process, which was something I did not expect. Moving onto the A, I'm improved significantly strength wise as well as mentally. Throughout my journey I started to understand more and more deeply the significance of technique in sport. It was never about strength, sure raw strength does help. However it gets to a point where pure strength just isn't enough, in those moments intellect is what it's lacking. The development of that intellect is a gruelling and difficult journey, it requires patience, self love and trust. I'm happy to say that throughout my CAS journey, these were the skills and qualities I developed most. Lastly we have the S. At the beginning of our mentorship, our meetings felt kind of dull and awkward. But as time went on we started to learn each other's language, our communication became much more fluent and much more intuitive. This shift, was worth in my opinion impacted our journey the most. Our meetings became smooth, effective and focused. And with that kind of attitude progress was inevitable. So in conclusion that the abilities and skills which I developed most significantly during CAS are physical and mental strength, patience, a keen eye, humility and effective communication. For those reasons I hold CAS very dear to me. CAS showed me that what is more important than the destination is the journey itself.

May ACTIVITY 2
While on the trip in Rynia, I went out with my friend. We walked through a forest esque part, untill we reached the shop, we took a picture to celebrate this small but fun trip. This kind of light cardio really helps me recharge all while staying sharp both mentally and physically.

Back at my favourite wall, happy to see you. I felt really energised and powerful. The problem I'm working torwards is on a whole another level. It feels like i sucks up all my finger stamina as well as forearm tension, as soon as i reach this level. I feel confident in eventually reaching the top, but for now, I need to try a try more.

MAY CREATIVITY 1
While on a play I wanted to capture the fogginess one may experience when so suddenly (couple of hours) one changes their whole environment. Different landscapes, culture, language. Everything is different, even you. A meaningful trip can really shake things up. I think this photo, while a bit too literal, captures what I mean quite well. We are all of a sudden meant to adapt and change and that can make a person feel or even see blurry.

PHOTOGRAPHY
I wanted to go back to my "roots" per se. capturing a cinematic sunset in Rynia. I don't think i'll be going back to photographing landscapes all that much, the photos from April made me really excited about photographing some more unique and personal subjects. At least, ones that don't feel so superficial and oversaturated (people doing it wise).

MAY SERVICE 2
We didn't finish going over the paper so we picked back up, from where we left off. Solved a few more problems all on his own which is really nice to see. I know a lot is still ahead of him, but so far I have a good feeling about it all. At least when it comes to maths. I'm glad to see that he approaches problems in a more analytical way first, before rushing into the meat and bones of it all.

MAY SERVICE 1
May was the season of big final exams for both me and 8th graders, so for our lessons, we decided to go over the problems in the 8th grade final math exam. After a laborious 6 months of studying under my supervision, my cousin did surprisingly well, considering the fact that this is a test he will be preparing for another 12. We were both surprised to see such an easy question at the beginning but as we went through the paper, we saw some problems that he was yet to be equipped for. All that means is that more studying is going to take place and with a cousin like me who would not want that...

APRIL ACTIVITY 2
Trip around London
When in London, I traversed the city for hours. I was staying near oxford circus in a hostel, so for the entirety of the day, i needed to find a way to quince my thirst for both, fun and exploration. That meant walking. I walked around camden town, oxford circus, passed the soho square, and even to the station bank. I love London so much, on top of being a really diverse city, the people in london are super friendly. I had a blast with the people I met while out and about, and during the concert

APRIL ACTIVITY 1
Once more I'm at my favourite boulder. I have hit a point where progress is slow, in terms of allowing me to do more problems, but is also more technique oriented. This meant that I often find myself 'stuck' at one problem, or even one move of the problem (crux) and the thing keeping me from success is my lack of efficiency (technique), dexterity (texnique) and or tiredness (bad technique). Solving one problem won't allow me to bulldoze through 4 more, rather, it build up the arsenal of moves and habits in my toolkit, making me a better climber overall.

APRIL CREATIVITY 2
April - the month where the earth started breathing once more.
With this photo I tried to capture the essence of spring. (My spring). This photo was took inside the gunia art gallery, looking out into the beautiful garden through a small widow. We only see the 'tip of the iceberg' as the rest of the windows are only translucent. This is an intentional element of the picture as it highlights the inevitability of spring with all its beauty and glory, as well as the fact that it take time for it to finally fully 'be'. We only see a glimpse of what is (will be). But we know exactly what it is and how amazing it will be when in its fullest form.

I BAKED COOKIES. AND THEY WERE GAS! I followed a recipe I found when scavenging through the dusty files on my computer. Back in MYP 4, one of my friends created a cookie recipe which I had forgotten about. Thankfully fate hade us reconnected and I was fortunately blessed by their sweet and chewy interior. This recipe doesn't call for all that much sugar, at least when compared to other ones online, so I was pleasantly surprised by their lack of bitterness and overwhelming taste of "sweet & salty"

APRIL SERVICE 2
When rasz calls, you answer. When I heard about the opportunity to help out my fellow students running the entrance exams, I gladly answered the call of duty. Once again I was responsible for creating a chill vibe in the aula and deescalating the emotions of the applicants. I also had some nice conversations with the applicants' parents. Overall a great success, I hope other participants felt similar.

A new theme was began, prisms(graniastosłup). So far, this was the best initial performance, not much to improve, we only really did the practice problems in the book. I take that as a sign of clear improvement by my metric. My cousin approaches problems with the right mindset, the only source of mistakes is the occasional mishap when rewriting an expression to the next line.

MARCH ACTION 2
Bouldering, Bouldering, Bouldering. This month I decided to train and climb on all of the types of walls, resulting in a pleasant surprise. I have improved tremendously in all types of climbing, I am more flexible, resilient to fatigue and most of all strong. I feel the pleasure of reaping what i sew, and I'm enjoying every second of it. All that said, I'm still wayyy off from being anywhere near the top climbers at my gym, HOWEVER, it does feel nice when I compare myself to me from a few months ago.
