I feel like I've been in a coma for a week.
Was the thinking helpful?

I feel like I've been in a coma for a week.
But there was just a lot of thinking that needed to be done.

Still full of yourself - I'm glad you're not too sick. Like I said, don't worry sweetheart. I'll cover for you.

Well, duh. The lie is the doctor coming to see my burn. Everyone knows we’re the richest, hottest and snobbiest family here.

Sweetheart, we are super rich and snobby. No need to lie. Don't worry though, okay?

If any of the Lopez-Pierce’s see, will you just tell them that because we’re super rich and snobby, we have a doctor come to see about my burn?

"Well, I may have to leave every once and a while... if only so I can have you all over me when I get back." The blonde laughed softly as she began to slowly run one of her hands up and down Rachel's back, her eyes falling closed as she did her best to relax there with her wife. After everything that had happened with the fire, and with their eldest daughter trying to start unnecessary drama within their family, she just needed to spend a few quiet moment alone with the woman she had married.
A Little Company || Julyberry
“I think I can live with it, as long as you don’t make me go through withdrawal, ever.” Rachel grinned, running her fingers through Cassie’s fine blonde hair.  ”I love you too, Cassie.  With all my heart.  Always have, and I always will.”  She rested her head against her wife’s, shutting her eyes and inhaling the sweet smell that was uniquely Cassandra.  She could summon that scent at will, it was so ingrained in her mind, but there was no comparison between the memory and the real thing. There never would be.  Rachel sighed comfortably, ready to stay sitting there just as long as Cassie could stand having her in her lap.
