I love any stories or OCs that have anything to do with gods or mythology tbh, see my Durge lmao

Yeee, been finding myself really transfixed with the theology and cosmology of my world, lore making is fun!

And I did see the posts for your Durge, they sound fun lol. Love the idea of them having a sort of post-epilogue religious epiphany, following in the footsteps of their adoptive mother by becoming an Eilistraean. Sounds like you also got with Astarion in the playthrough you did with them?

It's also super fun to think about those little details with said character! Like, going back to Keres for a moment, as she is the Goddess of Death, the very first of such, I imagine her design borrowing elements from the tradition depiction of the Grim Reaper, with some more personal touches for flavor.

One such detail she has is wielding a scythe, though considering how she and many of her siblings are War Gods to some extent (though there is a dedicated War God, Argus, among their number), she wields a war scythe, rather than the regular farmer's scythe that the Death is normally depicted wielding.

I was actually thinking of which of my OCs I wanted to make a post on first, so this gives me a perfect excuse!

Got a few different ones I've been wanting to talk. Got some Genshin, some HSR (including some OC planets and factions!), and even some Transformers (though idk if you'd care much for that). Though, I think the ones I am wanting to talk the most about at the moment are actually some the the non-fandom God OCs!

The main of these being Keres, Goddess of Death (and kinda War?), She Who Brought the Endless to an End, and Supreme Matriarch of Post-Mortem (aka the Realm of the Afterlives). In the lore of my original setting, she's the very first God to have been created, alongside her siblings, to fight in the War of Firsts against the eldritch Scions of Nihility. Following the end of the War, she and her siblings were manipulated into slaying their parents/makers by their brother, Chemos. But that's a story for another time~!

I like to imagine she's one of the few among the gods capable of leveling with mortals to an extent - fun fact: one of the only two times she's canonically cried in the setting was when she encountered the soul of the first deceased mortal, showcasing to her just how truly finite the lives of these wonderful beings such as us truly are in comparison to them!

She has a mortal gf (or wife? Idk yet) with whom she has a daughter (will probs be talking about her at some point on here as well! Also, her birth would mark the second occasion that Keres has cried, a sort of contrast with the first. One being the end of a life, the other the beginning of one, one crafted by her own hands nonetheless! Though... the road to making sure that life came to be was rather... complex to navigate. But that too, is a story for another time 😅)
