WIP Wednesday!

Thank you so much @brushedbymelancholy! You literally make my fandom experience better and never stop tagging me, please! As you might have noticed...It is not wednesday, but I will still post this WIP of course! I dug deep for this one and found a very abandoned Galex WIP that will probably never see the light of day – but the galexey is currently very alive and I will always be drawn to them, so here it is:

“George,” Alex says sharply, “stop fiddling with the bloody plant.”

George’s hands freeze mid-air, fingers tangled in the delicate stems. He turns, slow and sheepish, eyes wide. “I’m just...Lex, it was drooping. I was saving it.”

Alex snorts, flopping back on the bed, arms stretched over his head. “You’re going to kill it, mate. Leave the plant alone and come over here.”

George narrows his eyes, a little grin pulling at his mouth. “Bossy tonight, aren’t you?”

“Always.” Alex’s grin is lazy, all sharp teeth and soft eyes. “Shirt off, Georgie. Let’s go.”

George raises an eyebrow. “Oh, now you want me?” He pulls his shirt over his head, messing up his hair, tossing the fabric aside like it’s nothing. He’s already unbuckling his belt, and Alex watches with a little hum of approval.

“I always want you,” Alex says, stretching again like a cat, the hem of his own shirt riding up. “I’m just making sure you stop pretending to be a gardener and remember your real talents.”

George laughs as he drops onto the bed, crawling up over Alex with a smirk. “Oh yeah? And what exactly are my talents, Lex?”

Alex loops his arms lazily around George’s neck, dragging him down until their noses brush. “You’re very good at being warm.” His fingers trace lightly down George’s spine. “And kissing me.”

George’s smile softens, his breath warm against Alex’s lips. “You’re a menace, you know that?”

“I do.” Alex tilts up, stealing a kiss, slow, lingering. “And you love it.”

George kisses him again, deeper this time, one hand sliding under Alex’s shirt, fingers grazing over skin. “God, you’re infuriating.”

Alex lets out a low laugh, arching a little into the touch. “You’re the one crawling all over me, Georgie.”

“Mm, shut up.” George kisses down his neck, biting lightly, and Alex gasps, laughing breathlessly.

“Hey!” Alex protests, squirming. “You can’t just —”

George pulls back just enough to grin at him. “I can do whatever I want, Lex. You’re the one who invited me over here.”

Alex rolls his eyes dramatically. “You’re impossible.”

“Mm-hm.” George settles over him, wrapping him up completely. “And you love that too.”

Alex huffs, burying his face in George’s hair, arms tightening around him. “Shut up and keep kissing me, idiot.”

George’s laughter rumbles through both of them as he obeys.

I still haven't found that many fic author friends (you can always chat with me!), so I tag everyone who wants to do this with no pressure and @oopslandiia <3

this is so fucking crazy cus i was talking to one of my mutuals that there's no way alex didn't go through an ABG phase before rediscovering her actual identity. like it's a rite of passage for asian girls (maybe especially to those living in a euro-centric society). she bleached her hair blonde, wore her make up in that specific way, lashes and all, only used sports bra or those tiny tube tops, stopped short of getting a tattoo for. reasons. until she realized male attention is horrendous actually and did a 180. georgie still saved all the photos from that era though, just in case.
