I don’t know if anyone said this before but I love how everything in FE is designed and written to be contrastive.

his design’s main colors is literally blue (cyan) and red, the colors that are generally accepted to be opposite colors.

He is so paranoid that he pushes people away yet desperately doesn’t want to be alone.

He’s also multiply times mentioned to be exhausted yet it’s clear as a day that he overworks himself to the point of recurring fainting. Not only that he kills creating illusion of justification for his actions and yet is still heavily affected by his choice AND he lies to himself about the fact that monsters he killed were not real because they were copies when he can be also counted as a copy (get it? he’s also alternate version).

He’s creating through destroying!

The fact that all this is happening because he thinks the ends justifies the means yet in the end he will destroy himself to the point where there will be nothing left of him by the end, he’s literally becoming the type of person he hated the most and it creates so much conflicts inside his mind and we can see him slowly falling into that rabbit hole

Mf thought it was good coping mechanism when in reality it made him ever worse ☠️

It drives me crazy how easily would everything be avoided if he just ENDED UP IN BETTER ENVIRONMENT

Sometimes I think about therapy session theory my friend made and explode (people can be so smart because I never thought about it like that?? and it makes so much sense, in short theory consists of idea that the events of FEHO are FE’s memories that he is currently navigating in with the voice who helps him analyze it and overall help him with organizing)

Do you know there’s a trope when character finds out that they’re not human in the worst way possible?

So because chapter 5 is approaching and it will mostly focus on Patch and FE, I wanted to remind you that Patch thinks he just “appeared” or in his words “I was not and then I was”

He doesn’t know about how he was created oh sweet summer child 😭 I’m not even sure he understand the concept of death seeing how he has zero reaction to the corpses in their void :/

How does one even react to the information that they were made out of different parts of other dead people 😭

For Fatal’s birthday I really wanted to appreciate how good horror is written here:

I was thinking about how it must had been so terrifying for them to be in this situation. Not only you were kidnapped and is still being chased by this strange entity, but you are exhausted from running for who knows how long in hope to reach your family and friends who surely noticed your disappearance right? You think help is coming for you and you’ll be saved but

I really couldn’t stop thinking about what Swap must have felt here. After you escape this horrific situation and finally reach your safe place only to be hit in face with this. He and all of other duplicates were so easily replaced and perished without their family knowing what happened to them heck THEY DONT EVEN KNOW THEY DISAPPEARED they dont even suspect that their friend is long dead and part of their body was used to create another living being what’s more fucked up is that the said families and friends will never have a clue, they’ll be forever in this oblivion of not knowing what happened to their friend. Imagine your life not mattering to the point where you are so easily replaced and forgotten :/

Analyzing the fight from Underverse 0.7-2

I was analyzing the whole fight and noticed how fe’s tactic has slight difference from the tactic fe was using in the comic

He’s usually fast to leave, never plays around and can be cruel because of it, in short he tries to end everything fast as possible

But here It looked like he was playing around because he had so much opportunities that he never used, when in the comic fe would never miss the said opportunities

Fe in comic tries to make things go as fast as possible but here it seemed like fe was not bothered by the time he wasted and the way he fights implies how he most likely was just exploring the surface of the whole situation

Fe is unbothered in comic bc before the whole fight thing he always does research in case of unseen situations but here’s the catch, XGaster is now inside the world that cannot be entered easily and well, doing research on XGaster is not something that easy considering old man has magical button that can change your whole being

Fe doesn’t know what he wants to know about him an he admits it inderectly

I was also bothered by the drastic change in the personality fe had in his 5 min screen time. If at first fe was just unstable, inpatient, and overall playful, then by the end we don’t see any of it

I can say fe’s main goal was to gain information and so he was acting provocative to make XGaster act (knowing fe’s tendency to be self-neglectful he might have been trying to make XGaster use overwrite on him)

Let’s not forget how fe can act and pretend to be smn entirely different, as we seen from side comic five nights at fatal’a when he lures sans into trap by acting vulnerable

But as we see from the end being provocative didn’t work and fe (who seemed to be expecting it) hasn’t gained what he needed to know (loser /affectionate)

I do have theory but for now let’s just say fe was in silly goofy mood :]

It’s so fun seeing new fe fans knowing the amount of insanity they’re about to experience if they decide to dwell into comic hey we all been there no it’s not going to go away :D

Underverse episode was great, I loved the way fe was animated and the way he was voiced! Of course some moments were confusing for me like why was fe working with Gaster or why he even hated XGaster that much but I guess we just have to wait cuz u know characters can have different writing in different authors hands and it’s okay! Overall UV!FE is a menace to society and I love it

I know most of the character were taken from their respective endings but fe’s story is still in progress so this leads me to thought that maybe UV!FE is actually was taken from Chapter 2 or 3 or somewhere in between WHICH IS SAD because I was hoping for even the slightest patch mention I miss my child :(

BUT we’re going to get see patch soon enough in chapter 5 which I’m excited for and I just know chapter 5 is going to either be wholesome af or traumatize us no in between

the collector doesn't understand mortality, sure. But he also has been besties with a narcissistic puritan who, when he kills his former brother, just revives him with a grimmwalker and continues to do this everytime hunter/caleb goes against him. The collector even says he's suspicious belos just breaks them for fun. So yes, while the collector is just used to being some celestial god, he also spent 400 odd years with an amoral sociopath who lived way longer than the human lifespan, killed people and also made multiple clones of his dead brother whenever he wanted. Of course he doesn't understand it.
