Sharing The Needs of The People in Times of The Pandemic
In the cold season of December 2019, Official reports stated that a new variant type of virus, the Coronavirus, or also known as SARS-CoV-2, was identified to have originated in Wuhan City, China including onset symptoms within a month. We are aware of the symptoms and the protocols to be taken into account now that the world is permeated with the virus, which resulted in numerous delayed flight activities, and forbidding normal social activities we used to enjoy. The Philippines was struck with this virus in January 2020, and many regions were led in general to strict community quarantine to further deduct the number of victims and provide further research and analysis on the virus.
The world is connected to everybody having access to all sorts of information and ideas brought together in a website or mobile apps that we can search them in a small device powered by supercomputers with large databases. I’m talking about the Internet and the digital world of social media. As of now, billions of people are active and mostly discussing their interests and especially communicating to those who are greatly affected by the virus without proper protection or regulations. Governments are more concerned about the relationship of negotiations while the frontliners are here to teach us how to protect our lives while they risk seeking prevention for the betterment of the people. To continue with our lives, and adapting to the new normal, people would immediately switch to social media to reach out to great lengths in search of a productive conversation with someone. Nowadays, people can conveniently transfer and/or contribute any valuable or hospitable products on the internet, it serves as the platform to all sorts of financial and health services. Unlike before, where the growing age of the internet and computer devices were under development, people used to communicate the latest and important information such as the means of publishing prints such as newspapers and magazines, tabloids, pamphlets, and Televisions and radio broadcasting were also popular and the details of handling information can bring impact on the age of technology. This was essential and widely used for modes of sending details to the public and disseminating them internationally, because the spread of information can also reach outside the country. So, it would enable the people to consider the most possible scenarios that are happening in the locality. Whether the chances of being affected in different countries are inevitable and everybody must stay aware of the idea behind its surroundings. Knowledge about the information cannot be removed as this may result in abuse used for special interest.
Going back to the cases of Covid-19 and the pandemic, the frontliners, government, and family members joined in discussing the needs of the people and establishing health precautions in the country, that way people can still leave their homes but maintain a proper distance between the person next to them. The way information is commonly disseminated is through social media, government websites in the internet, creating forums, even on televisions and newspapers are still created for the sole purpose of gathering and concretely spreading the latest news about the situation. Hoax or any forms of fake news can mislead and lead to conflict and we should only abide by the news with a strong connection with official governments and politics. The way the world has changed through the information dissemination in the midst of pandemic has diminished our chances to see the current state of the world operate physically whilst the Internet provided us a digital environment where forums, news, discussions, programs, and live events can be seen and brought into an idea from the creators and leader for the audiences or viewers.

A Newbie’s Path in Becoming a Polyglot
The existence of languages evolved ever since its discovery from Homo Habilis primary used in hunting and interacting with common species. Many linguists believed it care from  one single sources in West Africa. This language was mainly used around the continent of Africa, and as our ancestors migrate from different areas around the world, the language adapt to different factors such as the settlement in a particular environment. Well to be frank, I can’t pretend anymore in teach you the entire background history of language and its evolution that is influenced throughout the world. Things changed ever since oral tradition, people used different methods  in non-verbal communication rather than speaking. It evolved to sign languages, gestures, body languages, and mind reading( which I don’t think its commonly used nowadays, only to show your talent and impact in our minds). Basically, a whole different set of languages can influence people about our skills, our origin and native tongue, and culture. So countries make use of our ancestor’s languages and try to create unique sets of alphabets, words, and vocabularies to show their differences, authority, and ability and call it their new set of human language. So how do we interact with people, from different parts of the world if I can’t speak the same tongue as them? English... In a nutshell, when we’re born, we were taught by our parents to say the alphabets on a wall,  sing children songs with rhymes, counting numbers, and writing the alphabets. But the most interesting aspect that help us develop our language skill was watching entertaining shows on television. We become intrigued because of the animation, funny characters, inspiration, and story that enlighten us to continue watching more, while paying attention (or not) to the language used. Regardless of the show, overtime we were able to create small sentences, basically develop tiny communications to ourselves, other than learning to speak “mama” or “papa” to our parents. I got so curious,  English was so universal, simple, and amusing that I rarely watched shows spoken by our native language. I learn English before my Native language. Yet, I felt as if I was different inside a group of people, i understood what they were saying, however the way I should speak, in order to present a true communication were unusual. It doesn’t mean learning English shouldn’t be taught first to infants or children, but rather whatever comes first to us were already set in to improve and focus the skills within us. So in other words, I speak with my native tongue around my friends, family, seniors, and neighbors in order to compensate the use of languages. Only I can see the errors, and mishaps with the people whenever I interact with them. What I said wrong or strange, it didn’t really bother for me to change, take down notes, and pursue more on the human languages, and nonverbal communicative methods such as gestures, and body languages. When people learn to speak several languages, they’re called polyglots, or multi-linguists. It’s better to create unique techniques to better improve and entertain ourselves such conversing with different people who knew a few other languages, Join programs or clubs, lessons, and study their literature. Persuade a friend in order to further increase your knowledge on that specific field. Communication is power, whatever knowledge people attain, it’s better to used it more cautiously.
