Shoutous to all my other transfems who NEED estrogen to live. Like, not to rain on the "everybody's valid!!" parade, but there is a not insignificant disconnect between me/people like me and "genderfucks" who can do or do without HRT. For me, it's not a funny quirky drug I can take recreationally to be genderweird or whatever, I NEED estrogen. I'm so sick of hearing people tell a vulnerable community that is at risk of losing life saving treatment that they don't "need" said life saving treatment because "you don't need this to be trans!!" like it's some kind of optional choice for most of us. It's really fucking not! If I was totally cut off from hormones for an extended period of time, or god forbid permanently, then I would just kill myself. Full stop.

I am a woman. I am me. I will continue to live as me for as long as I can, and if I can't be my own, I'd feel better dead.
