Tsumugi: Your magic is amazing, Masumi-kun. Let’s do a Street ACT involving magic again, if you’d like.

Tasuku: It feels as though Usui’s acting’s gotten even better. Maybe I should invite him to a Street ACT every once a while.

Hisoka: I’ll give Masumi a fluffy cushion since he’s working hard on lots of things. This will help him sleep even better.

Homare: I have prepared a brand-new collection of love poems this year. Fufu, I can just picture Masumi-kun’s overjoyed face♪

Azuma: Your approach to love has changed compared to how it used to be. I think that's a wonderful thing.

Masumi: …

Homare: Masumi-kun? 

Masumi: But you had fun back then, right?

Enough fun that you can show your feelings as you remember them now.

Homare: ーー

Homare: Yes, that is true. 

Masumi: Then it’s fine as is. 

Homare: However, I am to act out an inventor who has achieved a mechanical body and lived for a terribly long time.

Masumi: But he’s not a robot.

That inventor was originally human.

Masumi: His emotions lessened after living for a long time, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t have any.

Masumi: He still has his memories, so he should still remember how he felt.

Masumi: But you’re trying to suppress your emotions as if you didn’t have any to begin with.

Homare: ーー!

Masumi: You and that inventor are both human.

Masumi: The times when something really moved you and the time you pledged your love, none of it was a lie. 

So you don’t really need to force yourself to shut your emotions down.

Masumi: There’s lots of things you think about that you don’t show on your face, right? If you’re a living person, that is.

Homare: …I see. 

So I was repressing my emotions with a bit too much vigor.

Homare: It is alright to simply carry my emotions with me as they are…

Me, and that inventor as well, we are both human, after all.

Masumi: Took you long enough to realize.

Homare: Yes, very much so. I am deeply sorry, Masumi-kun.

Masumi: If that’s how you feel, then make up for it at rehearsal.

Homare: Indeed. Leave it to me. 

📍Practice Room

Homare: “...Indeed. I wished to show you this in my final moments.”

Izumi: …

Homare: …How was that?

Izumi: That was the best one yet!

Homare: Goodness me, I have taken us on quite the detour.

It is all my fault that I have sent you all into such an anxious state. 

Itaru: It’s fine. Nothing felt wrong, so I wasn’t really worried. 

Omi: But he’s clearly improved, hasn’t he?

Kumon: Did something happen, Homare-san?

Homare: Nothing at all.

The answer was always right there, I just simply failed to realize it.

Kumon: In your chest? What do you mean…?

Homare: Now then, Masumi-kun. How was my acting today? 

Masumi: Acceptable.

Homare: Hahaha, right you are. I’m sure I can do more than that.

Tsumugi: Masumi-kun, you were able to talk to Homare-san, huh.

Masumi: Yeah.

Masumi: Hey, have you heard the broken cyborg story? 

Tsumugi: More or less.

Masumi: Hmmm…

Tsumugi: He told you too, didn’t he?

Masumi: Yeah. But I think Homare interpreted the words that person told him differently than how they meant them.

Tsumugi: I see. 

…Being able to have such misunderstandings is what makes us human.

Homare: My word, Masumi-kun, Tsumugi-kun, whatever are you murmuring about so covertly over there! 

Come, let us give the last scene another go!

Tsumugi: Oh, I’m sorry.

Masumi: Annoying…

Tsumugi: Ahaha. Let’s keep going a little longer, Masumi-kun.

A3! Chigasaki Itaru - Translation [SR] Lamp of Repose (1/2)

Itaru: (…Should I start wrapping things up?) I’ll be heading out first.

Colleague: Thanks for your work today.

-pause-

Itaru: (I made a successful escape without encountering my section manager.) Alright, today’s main mission starts now.

Itaru’s LIME: “GG. You gtg now, Citron?”

Citron’s LIME: “We r way ting 4 u 2 are I’ve”

Itaru’s LIME: “Here come the cryptic texts. Are you waiting in the car?”

Chikage’s LIME: “I just picked Citron up”

Itaru’s LIME: “Don’t tell me you’re waiting on me. I’ll head over now”

-pause-

Itaru: Sorry for the wait, guys.

Citron: Good job today, Itaru!

Itaru: Thanks. I see you two are way too prepared.

Chikage: We were originally planning to leave early anyways. It’s quicker this way.

Citron: I was also waiting for you two to finish work.

Itaru: That's my capable wife and father. Alright, shall we head over to buy some Christmas presents for our adorable sons?

Chikage: Sounds good. Is everyone okay with the shopping mall?

Citron: Off we go~!

-pause-

Citron: I can’t decide since there are too many things I want to give them~. What would they like?

Itaru: For Sakuya, how about a boot stuffed with snacks and plushies…

Citron: No, no! Sakuya is an adult now~.

Chikage: Wouldn’t something practical be best? Gloves and scarves are standard for this time of the year, but what about something you can use indoors instead?

Citron: In that case, how about that?

Itaru: Ooh. Those pajamas look warm and fluffy. I’m sure he’ll have a good night’s sleep. We can also throw in this night cap and leg warmers and…

Citron: Our love for our son is bursting. My whole body feels toasty warm~.

Chikage: I’m sure he will look great in all of them.

Citron: Next is Masumi!

Itaru: If I was Director-san, then he’d be happy with anything I gave him. But since I’m not, the difficulty level jumped up to super hard mode. And with that being said, I would like to get the opinion from his grandfather slash master.

Chikage: Let me see… my beloved apprentice is now a fine gentleman, after all. What do you think about a watch from that store over there?

Citron: Oh! It’s a brand name!

Itaru: It’s stylish, alright~.

Chikage: And last is Tsuzuru?

Citron: His idea notebook is almost full now! I’d like to give him a new one.

Itaru: He’s been working to the bone since it’s Christmas.

Chikage: Well, he has also said that there are times he enjoys writing things down to relax. Let’s buy him some extra goods in addition to the notebook.

Itaru: This lumbar support cushion looks good.

Citron: The eye mask next to it feels nice to the touch too!

Chikage: That other store has some similar items on display. I’ll take a look.

Citron: …Itaru, Chikage. Everyone else is fast asleep. We have to talk quaintly from here now out!

Chikage: You mean quietly.

Citron: I left the door to room 101 open!

Itaru: Alright, shall we go deliver the presents starting from Sakuya then?

thread i wrote after a tweet i made about masumi's hair went viral. thought i should put this here bc its important to me. feel free to give your thoughts (which means please give your thoughts im begging you) (will write down the text in the image under read more idk how to do alt text)

since my masumi tweet got a lot of attention i wanna talk about how i just think its Boring that his hair isn't dyed. i ignore it bc i think its far more interesting to think masumi bleached his hair to rebel against his parents (hoping they'd pay attention to him that way)

it would add so much more to his character. his design gives off the vibe of someone whos YELLING for someone to look at him.. and thats what he IS like, but just implying that he started doing that so his parents would at least show they care enough to scold him..

it's definitely also related to the freedom he was given to do as he pleased while he lived alone. anyway the point is, his hair isn't natural no matter what they tell us. and also we need to talk more about what we know of pre-mankai masumi bc its Concerning

Those Who Roam

HELL

Devils linger and abide in Hell. Each Devil is assigned both a sin as well as a curse thay coincides with their most deepest inecurities and otherwise uncomplementary traits as a reminder of why they are here. This is torture after all. All Devils are only trusted to guard Hell and, in some special cases, to torture those who are new or in Purgatory (although this is a rare opportunity).

The Devils are listed as follows…

Banri Settsu - Pride A rather irritating and competitive member of Hell that tends to pick fights with literally anything for no good reason. His curse is his lack of ability to understand or comprehend emotions: picked specifically due to his lack of difficulty in every other aspect of life. He has emotions and feelings.. but he will never fully be able to interpret the feeling of grief or love.  Itaru Chigasaki - Sloth A rather relaxed and laid back Devil who tends to not be bothered with… well anything! Or at least thats how he seems. His curse forbids him from ever truly expressing how hes feeling. His emotions are dulled down and even the slight feeling of something like excitement or rage could introduce stabbing pains in his heart. Masumi Usui  Masumi has no particular sin or curse as he is the equivalent of an “anti-cupid”. His job is to break the relationships that simply weren’t meant to be. He lacks a lot of knowledge of love. It’s a hard job to break hearts. He’s used to it. Kazunari Miyoshi - Envy Although some may interpret him to be laid back, others would interpet him as full on. his lack of filter can be … challenging to deal with. However his curse tends to shut him after he reaches a large strength of emotions no matter how much he wishes to express them. His one brother watched as his wings were forcefully cut off from his shoulder blades and the halo was taken from his head. He feels the occassional headache from the loss of the halo, but the worst pain is the permanent scars on his shoulders that sting and burn. He has no memory of his brother or anything prior to his corruption. Yuki Rurikawa - Wrath A much younger addition to the roster that tends to be fiesty, as all of his emotions are constantly amplified and he is unable to control them. This causes immense pain to him, but luckily thanks to certain Hell Squad, he’s able to tough it out. It’s humiliating but no one minds. Taichi Nanao Taichi lacks a curse or sin for he was too a lost spirit that a Judge decided to pity. Unfortunately, Taichi did not have it as easy as Azami, since he - instead of finding peace in Heaven - was accidentally lead down a much more sinister path. His corruption was the first. His corruption leaves stains of guilt for all those involved. Yet he seems rather at home as a Devil. Chikage Utsuki As a Head Devil he has no sin, yet he has a curse. His curse is to constantly lie and decieve - something that was both annoying and hurtful to those he cared for.

Those Who Rule.

Heaven, Hell, and the inbetween of Purgatory have existed longer than mortals can possibly comprehend. The concept of having to choose between moral evil and moral good and having to face the eternal consequences for either decision: paradise or damnation… it torments with people. But what about those who already roam among the kingdom of the Afterlife?

JUDGES

To maintain control and peace, there are 7 Judges that rule over the courts in the Afterlife. Each judge represents both a sin and a virtue, making them unique to others who wander. 

Azuma Yukishiro - Prudence/Lust Hisoka Mikage - Fortitude/Sloth Tasuku Takato - Faith/Pride Omi Fushimi - Hope/Gluttony Izumi Tachibana - Temperance/Wrath Tsumugi Tsukioka - Charity/Greed Sakuya Sakuma - Justice/Envy

Although every Judge has both virtue and sin, making them impartial to being part of Heaven or Hell, some Judges hold more favour to one trait than the other…

And then there is Sakyo Furuichi: the Head Judge that makes all final rulings on cases in all aspects of the Afterlife. He also manages aspects of each souls fate; both mortal and immortal. He is, however, not in charge of this. He has neither sin nor virtue. 

There are also the Heads of Department.

Head Angel - Guy Head Devil - Chikage Utsuki

They manage and run their individual areas with great care as that is the job they’ve been assigned. There is no head of Purgatory.

Finally there is the all-knowing building stone to the Afterlife. The one who engraves the truths and endings of peoples’ lives and the way that souls in the afterlife spend their time here. The pillar of afterlife being none other than Tsuzuru Minagi. Fate.

It all depends on him.
