Not really, it’s more like. Okay imagine x men on a worldwide scale but the series takes place AFTER all the war and conflict that would inevitably happen with everyone developing mutations (quirks) so things are calmed down and now these mutations have become capitalized on and people make careers out of being superheroes to protect the public from people who use their mutations for nefarious purposes
