To be honest, I started this account as a school project. After evaluating several blogging options, I really started to get interested in Tumblr as a way to become part of a community of people with similar interests. I am a wife who has been happily married for over 26 years and a mother of a son and daughter who are in their early 20's. I have spent more than half of my life taking care of my family all while working. My kids did it all in relation to activities and life was very busy. Now that my youngest is out of college and both of my children have their lives and careers, I am standing in the aftermath wondering.....now what? I decided to go back to school at Southern Wesleyan University to finish my degree and that takes a lot of time for someone who is a bit older and works full time. Now I am at a point in my life where I feel a loss that my children are grown, but gratitude for who they have become and where they are going in their lives. I feel that it is time for me to catch my second wind and rediscover who I am. I enjoy makeup, cooking, traveling with my family, reading, animals, and good ole fashioned peace. I am hoping to connect with people who are interested in less drama and enjoying life.
