reblogging to save a love life
Catfisherpeople
G’day to whom it may concern,
I’m sure being on Tumblr implies you know your (plenty of) fish from your catfish…but do your parents? They’re on the Facebook after all, and who knows where else… We, as the children of the revolution, should give back by giving our rents the skills to protect themselves from pantscammers in their feeds.
After all, aren’t we all kind of reblogs of our parents?

THIS is how you politely do things online! No he didn’t read but he also didn’t come in with anything inappropriate. He deserved my polite rejection and took it like a person is supposed to! One out of a million but I do enjoy at least having one to post!

The Horror That Wasn’t
While MTV’s series ‘Catfish’ may be popular enough that you’ve heard of it, do you know where it came from? The term didn’t just appear, in fact, in one of the more unsettling justifications in the film, we are given the term. I believe that was when it was coined. Here, we have a trailer for the original film:
youtube
I feel like the way this has been cut together leads the viewer to think it’ll be more of a thriller than the fun and games seen on MTV. It seems scarier, even, and I feel that that is a more appropriate approach to representing this phenomenon. After all, it’s a pretty unsettling thing. Why not show this to mum or dad and see how they take it?
