“Well, what’s the point if they don’t fight? It’s just a waste of a perfectly good person.” He snickered, having mostly meant it as a joke. He wouldn’t kill someone without a good reason to do so, but…that’s just him. Kris sat back on the ground to watch from afar now, somewhat relaxed.
“Eh, more something in between. Like, a demon style fight. Rough enough that a bit of blood will be spilled, but light enough that nobody dies by the end of it.” Well, the demon wouldn’t have much of a chance to spill blood with his own restrictions in place, but that wasn’t how he usually fought anyway so it wouldn’t spoil his fun all the same.
She gave a quiet snort of amusement as she worked, putting the parts in a trash bag for easier transportation. She had clearly done this many times before and within minutes had the area cleaned and the parts ready to go. She stood and heaved the bag over her shoulder, grinning at him.
“Sounds like my kind of fight.” She said cheerfully. “Once I’m rested and back to full strength I’d be more than happy to spar with you.” She said. Being well rested would give him more of a run for his money anyways, no fun in fighting someone who’s exhausted after all.
While Vanny was busy cleaning up, Kris was kept busy playing with a curious young cat that had wandered over. Although comfortable enough to play with Kris, the pale orange tabby ran off with a hiss as soon as it noticed Vanny coming closer.
"Yikes." Kris seemed amused, seeing the cat off before standing back up. "That's a deal then, I take it. Leave it to a chance meeting or should we trade numbers?" The hybrid grinned in response, reversing on back to where he'd left his stuff - a backpack tossed aside near some pet bowls. Seems he's been feeding the strays around there, or someone has anyway.
"Right, you want help with that?" He gestured to the bag, slinging his own onto his shoulders.

She gave a smile before turning to her carnage. “Unfortunately this one was a bit of a fighter.” She sighed as she went to a bag nearby and started grabbing some garbage bags. “I just have to get rid of the body and we can leave.” She said cheerfully as she walked over to it after extracting a saw from the bag as well.
Would the fight be to the death or some light sparring?” She asked, glancing over her shoulder at him as she worked, humming happily to herself.

Wanting to RP, but afraid starters will be ignored.
Seeing an ‘Open RP’ starter thread, but too afraid it’s not meant for me.
Finally getting someone to RP, but afraid I might be boring them.
Rping.

“Looks can be deceiving.” She said with a slight smirk as she looked him up and down. She had to admit he didn’t look at all intimidating but she had had met a few victims like that before who ended up giving her a run for her money.
“How did you find me anyways?” She asked, raising an eyebrow. She would have to be careful from now on. She already had her hands full with dealing with one body. let alone 2.
“I suppose so.” He shrugged, tilting his head ever so slightly as she looked him over. Arguably him never really showing fear was the most threatening thing about him physically. Made him seem like he’s got something up his sleeve maybe. Not that he necessarily didn’t.
“Oh, that would be implying I was looking,” Kris snickered, gesturing off to something out of sight. “Came out here to do what I usually do, heard some noise, smelled blood, found someone covered in the stuff.”

He pocketed his phone, now turned off entirely. “Well, I don’t care about whomever that was per se. But it does work as a good excuse to get into a fight.”
The man offered her a grin in return, teeth mostly the same as those of a human, though with a set of long, pointed canines on the top and bottom. “I’ll thank you for the compliment, but no. Nothing like that. Like I said, I came here hoping for a fight so at most I’d ask for one sometime in the future.”
She blinked and raised an eyebrow. “No offence but I am just a human. It wouldn’t be a very fair fight.” She pointed out. Even with the skills she had as a serial killer, if she went up against a creature like him, it would most likely not end well for her.
She crossed her arms over her chest. “Unless you can somehow guarantee to fight on my level so we can be equal.”
"I'd say it's plenty fair as is." He shrugged. "At most I can promise not to use weapons and no biting. But then I'm just fighting with my fists since I don't have claws." Although in truth, even if he was mostly human he did typically have the edge over your average person.
He hummed, gesturing to his lean frame. "And does this look like that much of a threat to you, lass?"

Reblog if you’re open to improvisational rp and just “winging it” with threads
Whether it’s the first interactions between the muses so the chemistry is still up in the air and it’s still unknown as to whether or not they’ll click before potential plotting, or the muses have too much minds of their own and run wild the moment you set them loose in a thread, plotting is hard and occasionally your pre-planned threads jump the track and go in totally different directions than anticipated thanks to the muses’ creative differences. Reblog this to let your rp partners know that you don’t mind simply jumping straight into in-character interactions and threads.

“Believe it or not.” Kris purred with a casual shrug of his shoulders. Declaring himself a demon was arguably more of a warning than anything so it didn’t matter whether she took his word for it.
It really didn’t, as the murderous woman didn’t seem to intend to dispose of him as a witness on the spot or anything. Really, the offer got a genuine laugh out of him. The man looked down at her, struggling to maintain a serious look. “I don’t know how often that works wonders for you, lass, but you’ve misjudged what kinda guy you’re dealing with here.”
A pause and an eye roll later he continued. “I’ll be honest, I expected a knifefight, that’d have been fun.”
She paused and studied him. He was actually serious. A grin spread across her face. “If you are a demon then you would have no qualms about me murdering other humans.” She said, tilting her head.
She shrugged as she brought her knife back to examine it, letting it glint in the weak light as she studied the blade. “I already had my fill of killing tonight. Besides.. It would be a shame to kill such a pretty face like yourself.” She chuckled. “I’m guessing you want some sort of a deal.” She mused.

“Well, you don’t often meet a demon on Earth, do you?” The man took a step back, exaggerating the motion of merely tapping the call button on the phone screen.
“Unfortunate then, that you happen to have run into me. You’ll be in ‘cuffs sooner rather than later.” He spoke with a downright chipper tone while waiting for the call to go through. Were his eyes that red before?
She gave a soft, musical laugh. “Demon? Hardly.” She said, running a hand along her side in a seductive manner, smirking playfully at him. “Now, now.. No need for that..” She murmured as she moved closer, keeping her eyes on him.
“Maybe there’s a way we can work this out?” She offered in a soft tone as she finally reached him. “I’ll let you do anything you wish to me if you let me go.” She said with a smile. “I’ll even drop my knife.” She said, holding it away from her from behind, ready to drop it. His eyes were an odd color, she noticed.

While the woman was cleaning her knife, Kris reached for something of his own, presumably a weapon while his other hand fished out his phone to get ready to call the police, finger hovering over the call button.
“Nope, you’ll need a better excuse, I’m afraid.” Where most people may be shaking in their boots, so to speak, Kris returned the deranged look with an almost friendly looking smile. This would be fun.
“Oh? Aren’t you demanding?” She practically purred as she stepped carefully over the piles of gore as she made her way closer. “Brave too. Most people would be begging for their lives.“ She said with a laugh.
She paused for a moment, looking amused. “I just happen to enjoy killing. Hearing the screams and seeing the light fade from their eyes as they take their last breaths.. Oh it’s such a rush.” She grinned.

She didn’t seem to care very much that she had been caught. Even taking the time to carefully clean her knife, making sure it shone in the dim light, a smile on her face that didn’t reach her dark and empty eyes.
“You would be dead before you pulled out your phone.” She said simply, taking the moment to look at him, a slightly psychotic grin on her face. “And what reason do I need other than I am doing my Master’s work?”

“Sure is-” Dark red, slit-pupiled eyes examined the scene, cold and thoughtful as the man took a moment to figure out what to do with the encounter. The original spark of confusion and concern together had been snuffed out as quickly as it had appeared, upon seeing the rest of the scene.
Someone with any sense would probably have called the police or moved on, sparing themselves any trouble getting involved. But Kris had a long reputation of lacking that kind of sense.
“So you got a good reason or should I be calling the cops and making sure you stay put til they show up?”

Was there anything wrong or odd about someone seemingly just enjoying the world? No, but that wasn’t what peaked the man’s curiosity. Normally he would have passed by without a second thought, but after noticing the stranger’s odd appearance, he couldn’t help but stop and glance back, confirming that he wasn’t seeing things.
“Good afternoon.” Well, if he was going to stare, he may as well be polite enough to say hello, surely.
He was just…lying in some grass as gentle breeze washed over him. The sun beating down over head as he stared up at the sky.
