Yesterday I had a really intense day; although it was intimidating at times I got through it and it was a lot better than I expected it to be! When I got home J was there with a bottle of my granddad’s wine, a vegan curry and some macaroons from the new vegan patisserie nearby. I was so relieved and it made me realise that whilst it has always been important for me to do things on my own, having support and someone to talk it over with afterwards really helps. I felt like thinking aloud really put the day into a clearer perspective. Today I am having a slow Saturday with lots of reading, and later we are going to see the fireworks at Alexandra Palace. I am still lightheaded and overwhelmed but immensely grateful for everything right now.
