Okay so everyone says Wei wuxian naming his sword “Suibian” is silly and absurd ….. But I personally believe Lan wangji has a more dumb naming sense …….. really …… 😖 let me explain …..

First : Wangji - The guqin that pined along with him for 13 years

It’s literally named WANGJI !? Like he named it after himself ?! 😫

I bet he called it Little wangji when he was a little too, as adorable as that mental image is (Because when he was little, little wangji would obviously be bigger than him), he still named it like how I named my dolls when I was 3 😐

Second : Bichen - The spirit sword that was traumatised by Wei wuxian

Okay now here me out …… yes it’s name means “to avoid dust/worldly matters” which is like MUUUUCH better than Suibian where the purpose of the name is just to irk others …… But wait …. why does the name sound familiar ???? Hmmmm ???

Because it sounds like XICHEN !!!! So it’s not thaaaaat far off to say he probably named his guqin “Wangji” and his sword as “Xichen” 🤣 and Lan xichen and Lan qiren, probably after much deliberation made him settle for “Bichen”, because as much as Lan xichen would have loved that (being the brocon that Xichen is) he can’t let his little brother be made fun of by others

Third : Wangxian - The ship name that took all the uwus I had left

He …………… literally…………. just…………. smushed…………. both ………… of ………….their………names……….. together ?! - Like it’s a love song filled with yearning you composed for your bae, and what does he do ??? He smashes their names together and calls it a day, he just made a couple ship name ……… this boi…….. 😩

SO IN CONCLUSION : Our disaster gay can’t name shit to save his life, he can compose a ballad for his beloved but can’t come up with a name half creative. I bet if he and Wei wuxian adopt kids they would probably be named Wangji junior and Wuxian junior or probably even Wangxian 😪 Nobody can tell me otherwise 😑
