Me @ me: “Hey maybe don’t draw the entire first season of YOI from yakov feltsman’s perspective. That will take weeks and you’re an adult with a life”
…I did it.
Bonus:

Loosely based on this post.

I wrote about this back when I first played P5R but I’ve been thinking about it a lot recently as I’ve been replaying — I think Akechi refusing Joker’s hand in the engine room is probably viewed very differently depending on how someone WANTS to view his character. If someone wants to see him as still being too prideful to accept his shortcomings, to admit he isn't really who he's always pretended to be, then that's why he left himself to die. If someone wants to believe he's truly redeemed himself here, and it's not pride, but rather shame that keeps him from saving himself, that’s why he refused to join the only people who have ever shown that they sympathize with him. But I don't think it's only one or the other. There were probably a million different things going through his head at that moment. Admitting his own defeat and acknowledging his farce by accepting Joker’s hand would shatter his pride, sure. But it would also mean he's accepting a chance at redemption, and that's not something he thinks he deserves.
