I wish we could've seen more of these two because I think they're very cute.

And before anyone says something, NO! I DON'T SHIP THEM AT ALL!!!

But I have this head canon that Bucky sees Shuri as a little sister because she reminds him of Rebecca (Rebecca Barnes, Bucky's younger sister) who is probably now gone.

I also feel like, during the time he spent in Wakanda, every time he saw Shuri and T'Challa interacting (like we see in the movies), he would feel sad or nostalgic. Let's remember that, in the MCU, Bucky had three younger siblings.

We know how protective Bucky was with Steve who he loved like a brother. Now imagine how protective and loving he was with his ACTUAL siblings.

The more I think about it the more my heart breaks.

My cats have this meow that means "please come with me to fix this" after which they'll lead me to the problem in question, usually a empty (or 'empty') food bowl or a closed door they want open. They look at the 'problem', they look back at me, clear message.

What fascinates me is how this illustrates what they percieve as being in the realm of my 'power.' I control the food, I control the door, sure, but my cats love to sit on the balcony in the sun, and it has happened plenty of times that on a rainy day they come get me, go to the balcony and show me... the rain. "Please fix this" they say. "Please get rid of the wet"

"Silly kitty," I say, "I can't control the rain." I then walk into the shower and turn on the rain.

You're gonna tell me, that the guy who spent years being the toy of Russians and Nazi's would tie someone up (while I remind you, he probably still has horrible memories of he, himself, being tied up and having his brain fried) and fuck them????? As much as I would love for him to do that to me, I DOUBT IT.

Listen, in my eyes he's slow and passionate. He won't do that shit to you unless you beg him, and even then he's probably fucking hesitant. Everything is asked, consent checks, everything.

I'm projecting cuz this is how I like my men, but like, cmon.
