I feel like Sgt Peppers is a different film depending on who you focus on the entire time.

Clearly it's a fucking comedy if you watch Robin throughout the whole thing because he's just a human disaster.

Interviewer: So at what point during the make-up preparation, does the character start to evolve in your mind?

Michael: I think when I start lining I mean cause there’s a whole base sort of thing, but when the lines start to come in, there’s certain things like the nose or the mouth, the shaping of the mouth, that is when the felinity really starts to come in. I kind of, I try to really um, not to make it seem overly important but really I try to be very thoughtful about trying to make sort of a statement, with uh, and it be thoughtful about how I put my makeup on, and I enjoy it, it’s exciting to me, so I don’t mind spending 35 or 40 minute a day doing it, it’s fun.

Just finished it! My overall thoughts: 

I thought the visuals were really pretty (like the images of the moon).

The CGI fur is still awful and they looked like rats 

I’m in love with Robbie Fairchild 🥺🥺🥺

Taylor honestly had one (1!!) line which pissed me off because they were really milking it with Taylor’s Famous Cameo™ and I really wanted to see her act but we get ONE DAMN LINE FROM HER LIKE!? This movie really did her dirty. 

Bustopher Jones was just... irritating and annoying to watch... so was Jennyanydots.... God the terrible jokes... god

Skimbleshanks’ performance I loved (i mean, tap dancing?? the Talent™)

The dancing was good too, the dancers were amazing

I want to permanently burn Jennyanydots’ performance from my brain

My opinion about Tugger in this movie has not changed and I would like to collect Paul Nicholas again thanks

I have more thoughts, but I’m divided. There were parts that I hated, but Grizabella’s performance made me cry like a baby (as always) so the movie is fine. Idk what people were on about the ‘horny cats’ stuff tbh. It’s okay I guess. I’m so confused. what did i watch?
