Call to all German fans
I'm watching Tecklenburg (at this link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iB_w3tLjo8w&list=PLyE9ey6zDRRSP2SZczdJ15i0lVmYpkBPA&index=2 ) and I am curious, does this version of Bustopher Jones reference a specific German cultural figure, as the original London production references a specific English one? Also, what are Bustopher and Jenny saying when they improvise together during the song?
Update: we have a very helpful answer in the replies! Of course, any even further information will always be appreciated.

Alexander Auler and Gerben Grimmius are at it again still at it. 😌 Skimbleshanks has acquired a new mode of transport.
Photos by Jürgen Kirchner and stageshadows, 8 June 2022 (X X).
(By the way, on a more serious note: stageshadows has reiterated their request that anybody reposting their photos not crop out the watermark. I know everybody on here respects the principle that we credit the artist and link back to their page if we can't reblog directly from them, but this is just a gentle reminder that the same principle applies to photographers and videographers, where credit is known—especially where they've obviously gone to the trouble of editing photos too! If you possibly can, link back to the source; and if you can't, please at least leave the watermark intact.)

Note
Do you know who mates with who in the Plato & Victoria dance ? :)
Alrighty!
Mungojerrie and Rumpleteazer

Etcetera and George

Quaxo and Electra

Tumblebrutus and Jemima

Alonzo and Cassandra

Tugger and Jenny (?!)

Pouncival and Bombalurina

Coricopat and Tantomile

And Jellylorum with Asparagus…

But since Munkustrap is overseeing the whole shebang, leaving Demeter without a mate (hmph!), Demeter seems to get a bit close with Jellylorum
