Witches need to stop throwing the words "delusional" and "spiritual psychosis" around when you see a practice or opinion you disagree with.
It's ableist and shitty.

Let me make one thing abundantly clear. If you:
are a folkist, volkist, odinist, nazi or any other type of racist,
are a TERF, radfem, tradwife, or any other form of transphobic “feminist”,
exclude people out of the queer community (like trans, aro/ace, or bi/pan people)
exclude people out of the witch community (like trans, men, or Christian witches),
You are not welcome here. May your speech dry up and your communities turn to dust and crumble.
I will not be pulled into any “discussion” or “discourse” (I don’t have the will or the patience, I am not Bree). I said what I said, if you do not agree, make it easier on yourself and block me. If you do try to debate with me or try to tell me your stupid views and opinions, you will be blocked and deleted.

"Witchcraft overlaps with psychology though!"
Witchcraft overlaps with a lot of fields. Because witchcraft is so very broad. That doesn't mean everything witchcraft crosses paths with should or needs to be utilized in a witch's practice.
Astrology for one isn't a part of my practice because it doesn't interest me enough, and I'm not less of a witch for it.
There's no shortage of methods for healing, reflection, introspection, inner work, self improvement, self cultivation, etc. that aren't shadow work.

TRADITIONAL WITCHCRAFT…
…with its many and various branches, is a Craft born largely from the very landscape in which it is practiced. There exist common threads that run throughout the various recensions of the ‘Elder Faith’, but the precise traditions, ways and practices of the ‘Old Craft’ will always differ and be flavoured by the preserved folk beliefs, traditions, customs, lore, historical magical rites, charms and impedimenta of the region in which its practice is rooted. Traditional witchcraft is regional witchcraft, it is not and never has been a standardised practice and long may this continue to be the case. The day witchcraft loses regional variation is the day traditional witchcraft ceases to exist.
Traditional Witchcraft, Gemma Gary (2008)

Annual Witchblr reminder that Hecate's origin is ancient Greece, not Wicca.
Hecate being three formed (Trimorphis) represents her domain of the crossroads, not the maiden/mother/crone triple moon goddess. Hecate predates Wicca and its triple goddess by at least couple thousand years.

before anyone says, I am definitely pro-curse.
I've been thinking a lot on curses, and particularly their connection to punitive justice. I saw someone bragging on tumblr how one of their curses made someone homeless. and I cannot see for the life of me how that is justified in any sense or manner; considering how awful our capitalistic society is to the homeless. Even if this is a dangerous person who we think "Deserves it", this puts this person now in proximity to other homeless people, who are extremely vulnerable as a population. This person is now going to suffer cold, hunger, heat, and gain irrepairable trauma. And what did this person say? "My curses work damn well!" Gloated over it. Nobody deserves to be homeless, and I'm not going to do anything intentional to promote the evils of our capitalistic society.
as witches, sorcerers, and devotees, we should be interrogating how we use our magic. I've come to believe to restrain it: if I'm cursing because someone is transphobic, I want them to feel guilt and become a better person. Not just pain for the sake of making myself feel better, no, I want this world to be a better place. Don't play cop with curses. This limit prevents me from doing more harm than deserved. Because if it was my magic that made someone homeless, I'd say I was actually the evil person in that case.
Violence is sometimes necessary, but we must be wise in violence.

Little ways to connect with your Tarot cards 🔮✨
When you have a new deck or are trying to reconnect with the craft, your tarot deck might feel a bit off. This could be because you haven’t formed a strong connection with it yet. So here’s a lil list of things you can do to bond with your cards—these have helped me a lot!
Place them under your pillow at night
Carry them with you in your bag - i like taking it with me everytime i go out, even if it's a short walk around the neighbourhood
Draw a card every morning asking them about the energy for the day
Pick a card that resonates with what you want to manifest and keep it with you. I personally like to put mine in my phone case, where I can see it often.
Meditate with the deck in your hands
Cleanse them regularly
Give it a special place - store it in a pouch, box or your altar to show it respect
Do a “get to know your deck” spread – ask questions like: "what kind of energy do you have?" or "how can we work best together?"
Pair your deck with music - try shuffling while listening your favorite songs
Hope this helps 🍃
