Undetermined hiatus
Not going to be around while we get the specifics of how my family falls apart, maybe it'll all be cleared up in a few days, maybe a few months, we'll fucking find out.
Be back god knows when. I'd like it to be soon. I don't want this to drag out.
Standard rules post.

"I'm definitely paying, aren't I?"
"Well, I suppose the tavern is waiting for us."
“ Happy Birthday, Kaeya! How would you like to spend it? In the tavern or at headquarters? Whatever you want! I will tag along!”
"Why do I get the feeling you'll make me pay despite it being my birthday?"

Happy Birthday, Kaeya!

Hey, cute little kitty, care to strike a deal with me?
When the Traveler comes over for a card duel with me later, I need you to hop up on the table and mess up the cards.
That'll be my cue to whip out the gift I've prepared. I promise, if you pull this off, you'll get an endless stash of fish treats.
So, what do you say? If you're in, gimme a fist bump!

His explanation clearly wasn't helping. He'd need someone who understood more to satisfy Diluc. "You know that phrase 'if everyone you meet is different, you're probably the different one'? Thinking the magic is restricted to you."
"For me a few years. The future for you?"
As Littluc rode along the path toward Mondstadt, the glint of his Knight's of Favonius armor in the distance caught his eye. Squinting, he saw a familiar figure — blue hair and that signature eyepatch. But something was off… This Kaeya looked taller, broader, and carried himself with an authority that seemed strange to Littluc. His brother was patrolling with a group of Knights.
Without another thought, he jumped down from his horse, cupping his hands around his mouth. "Kaeya!" he called out, his voice carrying down the path.
The unmistakable voice of a child distracted Kaeya from his conversation with the patrolling team. A red haired child was calling out to him from further down the path. The team exchanged confused looks before mutterings began. "The hell?" "Is that Master Diluc?" "What the fuck?" "Stop swearing! He'll hear! I don't remember when he learned swears and Adelinde'll kill me if I teach him any. I'll figure it out, just carry on with patrol."
Kaeya waved at Littluc as he approached. "Hey Luc. What are you doing out here?"

Yes, Huffman, if you forget boots suited to the ice and slip and fall in front of the outgoing patrol group, we will laugh at you and talk about it for the whole patrol.

"Ah, well, maybe he went... somewhere else?" There was no way he'd get out of this without Diluc being suspicious, but that was Diluc. The best he could do would be to avoid the topic and with the new questions, it was the perfect chance.
"I don't know any more about what's happening than you, but we know a few people who can do magic. It's a safe bet magic is involved." It had to be some kind of magic, which would surely wear off at some point. Logicly, just making sure nothing severe happened and waiting should be fine.
Ah. The vision was not the best change of topic. "I got it a few years ago. I suppose it is rather incredible, isn't it?" He glanced over Diluc, trying to spot if there was a vision or not. Admittedly, when his brother got a vision was probably knowledge he should have remembered, but other information and events surrounding the vision itself did sort of take priority in his memory.

Kaeya cast a quick glare at the knights, insisting that they do, in fact, carry on with their patrol. It was a little concerning that Diluc appeared to be a young teenager, but it couldn''t be a permanent thing. Surely.
"Well, it's just what I wear. Nowadays" It was hardly like he didn't know the next question would come, but he had rather hoped it wouldn't. "Oh, he's. He's. Out. I haven't seen him today either. He might have had to get an early boat to Sumeru. For business." "Phenomenal excuse that, he won't be suspicious at all."
