Hello! For the promtathon i wanted to request a tsukihina if that's okay! I really enjoy your tsukihinas! In which tsukishima and hinata have recently started dating and tsukishima is a LOT more into casual touching than Hinata had thought and it's really not good for Hinata's heart

“So I told Kageyama, no, I’m not going to let you throw volleyballs at my head for three hours, I get enough of that during practice,” Hinata is telling Yamaguchi when Tsukishima strolls up, resting an arm over Hinata’s shoulder and heaving a sigh. Can you tell me all your headcanons for the following: SugaHina, DaiHina, TsukkiHina, TanaHina, NoyaHina, AsaHina, KenHina, KuroHina, and OiHina? They're all Haikyuu!!, haha, but I just can't stop shipping Hinata with everyone. Literally. Everyone. Sorry if this is annoying, I just really want to hear headcanons for these ships...

Yeah sure! I understand your shipping pains and I’d be happy to oblige! Since there’s so many, I’ll do three for each. Let’s just go down the list then, starting with:

SugaHina

Hinata and Suga are both people who can easily get people to do what they want. The difference is, Hinata is not aware of his power but Suga is. When they start dating, Suga makes sure Hinata is aware of his power. Hinata, consequently, becomes much more dangerous (especially to people’s wallets)

Even before they started dating, whenever Hinata and Suga interacted, you could practically taste the sugar. Now, people get sugar overload whenever the two are around eachother. Depending on who’s seeing it, the reactions could vary

Suga’s favorite hobby is flustering people and his usual victim used to be Asahi (because Daichi is too used to his antics). When Hinata and him became a couple, Hinata took Asahi’s place as victim

DaiHina

Hinata has a praise kink and Daichi exploits this very often. In public, in private, during matches, at practices, etc. Hinata had to learn very quickly how to hide his emotions so people wouldn’t question why he turned red whenever Daichi said “Nice serve, Hinata!” (I got this from a drabble somewhere on here, I can’t find it though)

Daichi and Hinata are always touching each other and the others have running tally of how many times they can touch each other a day. The most right now is 124.

Hinata can be pretty scary without him actually meaning to. Like Suga teaching Hinata how to use his cuteness, Daichi teaches Hinata how to be deliberately scary to terrifyingly succesful results

TsukkiHina

After being compared to the sun and the moon, Hinata became a bit obsessed with the motif for the two of them. Tsukki thought it was annoying at first but came to really enjoy matching with Hinata. Now they usually will be seen wearing matching sun/moon thing like necklaces, shirts, rings, etc. (Their wedding rings are sun and moon themed, can you tell what form of symbolism I’m obsessed with from this show?)

Even though their height difference allows Tsukki to pick on Hinata a lot, it frustrates him too sometimes. It’s hard to kiss your boyfriend when he’s significantly shorter than you and you’re both unwilling to comprise

One day Tsukki caught Hinata flipping through his music playlist and telling him what his favorites were. Since then, Tsukki would always recommend songs and bands to Hinata that he thought he might like.

TanaHina

Tanaka is very protective over Hinata and loves when Hinata goes to him for protection when he’s scared. Likewise, Hinata feels safe when he’s with Tanaka because he knows Tanaka would protect him.

Tanaka, despite his bravado, actually gets embarrassed quite easily with both romantic and sexual things. This, in turn, gets Hinata flustered as well and makes things really awkward. Their first time was a lot of fumbling and nervousness.

Hinata and Tanaka both have a hard time sitting still so they do a lot of things that keep their heart rate up. Their favorite thing to do is play games like Just Dance and Dance Central with their sisters.

NoyaHina

When they had sex for the first time, Hinata thought he would top because he was taller. He was wrong and no problem with being wrong

Noya and Hinata love playing pranks on people. Their main targets are Tsukki, Kageyama, and Asahi. They can’t prank Suga or Daichi because the last time they tried, they both ended up scared shitless and scarred for life

Noya and Hinata really like each others hair. Noya likes styling Hinata’s hair in a bunch of crazy ways with his gel and Hinata likes when Noya’s hair is down. Somedays Hinata will come in with his hair gelled and Noya will have his hair down.

AsaHina

Hinata calls themselves “The Seconds” after having the fact that Asahi is the second tallest person and he is the second shortest person on the team pointed out to him. Asahi thinks it’s cute but doesn’t really like the reminder that Tsukki is taller than him

A lot of things Asahi does are unintentionally funny to Hinata and that’s lead to a lot of misunderstandings and hugs and apologies. Asahi knows now that Hinata wouldn’t laugh at him out of spite for anything, he just has a different sense of humor than him

Hinata exhausts Asahi with his energy majority of the time, so Asahi and Hinata have to have days where they do things that don’t require much energy (ie cuddling)

KenHina

Kenma and Hinata absolutely adore each other and are always being affectionate with each other. This is especially important because Kenma really doesn’t like many people to touch him that much. Hinata and Kuroo are the exceptions

Hinata is actually comically bad at most video games and Kenma has no problem wiping the floor with him majority of the time. The only games that Hinata is good at are music based games like Just Dance, kareoke games, Guitar Hero, and the like. The win/lose ratio between the two when it comes to those games is about 60/40 in Kenma’s favor.

Kenma and Hinata really hate the fact that they live so far away from each other. To rectify this problem, they’re always texting, calling, Skyping (how do you even spell that?), and Snapchatting each other. They both end up living in Tokyo and sharing an apartment together so the problem they had in high school would not exist

KuroHina

When Hinata and Kuroo started being interested in each other (unaware of the other’s attraction), they both used Kenma is an in between to get phone numbers, messages, start conversations, and the like. It pissed Kenma off enough that, through careful scheming with Kageyama, they got the two to “accidentally” kiss at their next joint practice (which is also how Kenma learned that Kageyama wasn’t that scary once you found out how much of a giant dork he was)

Kuroo loves the sound of Hinata’s voice and is one of the only people who can listen to Hinata go on and on about anything without getting tired of it (the other being Kenma 0u0)

At some point in their relationship, they started picking up habits and personality traits from each other. Unfortunately for their team mates, those traits happened to be the more annoying ones.

OiHina

Oikawa first got interested in Hinata after he introduced himself to him after their practice match. He thought Hinata was too adorable for his own good and kinda liked the nickname Grand King. After that, every time they met outside of a match, Oikawa would flirt with Hinata the whole time (much to Kageyama’s annoyance since he was usually with Hinata when this happened)

Hinata keeps calling Oikawa Grand King after they start dating and Oikawa has a thing for Hinata calling him that. If anyone else calls him that, he gets annoyed, like Kageyama does when he’s called King.

Kageyama is the main cockblock for Oikawa. Kageyama does it mainly to piss off Oikawa, who can’t do anything about lest he upset Hinata for hurting one of his friends. Hinata eventually catches on, and finds it hilarious, and it becomes a full out, jealousy-fueled, battle between Oikawa and Kageyama to get Hinata away from the other.

5. Oilawa. I don’t really ship oihina but we can’t deny Oikawa did what no one else ever attempted: he asked Hinata out on dates, spent one week with him basically in honeymoon playing volleyball, spoiling him in restaurants, going out drinking together, doing sand statues, laughing and having so much genuine fun together. Topped by the fact that they’re on first-name basis now. I mean. I MEAN. THE KING REALLY DID THAT.
