On Wednesday, I checked the state of charge after the full charge on Tuesday.

Then I took the Granny Cable (slow charge cable) back to Graham at RMB Renault in Darlington while Christine was shopping.

        When I got back, Christine prepared a lovely BLT (Bacon, Lettuce and Tomato) in a large white bap, with Beetroot and Cucumber.

On Monday, my Nivea Aftershave Balm finally ran out so we went to Skippers Lane (Cleveland Retail Park) and Boots for some, but they didn’t have it, but they did have their own brand, so we bought that

        When we got back, the post had brought a cheque from DVLA for part repayment of my car tax for the Yaris (Zoe is free).

On Friday, we drove to Pichinthorpe for some exercise and for me to try driving the Zoe up Flatts Lane!

    On Saturday, we drove up to Lingdale, via Birk Brow (steep hill) to meet with Rodney and Wendy who we haven’t met since lockdown began.  We sat our in their back garden (now covered in decking) with our raincoats on for the occasional light showers.

            During the morning, I was having an email conversation with Graham at RMB Renault in Darlington, including answering my insurance query, sorting out the finance and our registration.

On Friday, after breakfast, we had a phone call from Melissa to see if we could find a black and red case upstairs where we are storing stuff from their old house.  I found it and she came round to collect it.  Then I emptied the kitchen bin and replaced the liner.

        Christine made some Chocolate Butterfly Cakes, using the Mary Berry Chocolate Cake recipe she used before.

On Wednesday, for breakfast, I had porridge and Christine had muesli.  Soon after breakfast, a DPD driver dropped off a parcel, taking my photo and the parcel on the doorstep in lieu of a signature.

It was my new Google Pixel 4, obtained using my contract upgrade from my SIM only Unlimited contract, stepping it down to a 24GB contract with the phone.

Today was another rainy day, so we didn’t get to walk.  For lunch, Christine made some Gammon and Vegetable Soup.

Today between gaps in the rain, we managed a walk to Normanby, where we bought extra oranges, a card and some birthday gifts for Geoff, our son-in-law.  It’s his birthday tomorrow (12th).

          When we returned home, there was a parcel from China (via Amazon).  It was Christine red spaghetti spoon!

For lunch, we had a Gammon Salad, lovely!

After a not too successful attempt at using the Action Cam for vlogging, I switched to the Panasonic G80 SLR which proved more than up to the task. Its just a bit large for taking out around town or walking (except on holiday, of course).  Christine made a Gammon Joint for lunch, with Poached Egg and Pineapple Rings.

Today I tested my old Action Cam (I gave the Wimius to grandson Josh). It is bin day, so I shifted the Toyota and put out the General Waste Bin.  This also allowed Christine to put the washing out.  Once the washing was finished, we drove to Redcar where I tried to get an appointment at Specsavers (you have to phone for one) and we shopped in Morrisons.

Today was test drive day and I lost weight.  After breakfast and a shave, I drove the Toyota to Darlington for a test drive in the new Renault Zoe (not mine).

        I drove it home so Christine could sit in it.

then back to Darlington where Graham was busy with another customer so I dropped off the key card and came home.

        After her coffee (and my breakfast), Christine set off to Asda to shop alone (lockdown rules).  While she was away, after having my toast, I washed up and emptied the bin.
