Liquid Metal is unique, it is different, and it is trending.
We just witnessed Liquid Metal trend big and you probably will too.
CBF Labels and the Anaheim Ducks go together like Gaga and Bradley Cooper at the Oscars. Here in Orange County we are big fans to say the least – and we attend a lot of games.
The Ducks are also our customer so we always stop by the Team Shop and take a look at what is trending in sports apparel.
It was here two weeks ago that we witnessed the explosive growth of Liquid Metal. These heat transferred logos were on scarves, hats, and shirts. Taking a lap around the stadium we saw a lot of people already wearing the team gear with Liquid Metal. The Ducks were selling a lot of it right off the bat.
What are we talking about when we say Liquid Metal?
Vibrant, shiny, metallic transfers made out of TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) that bring out color and texture in a way that gives brand logos a very distinguished and polished look. Liquid Metal is unique, it is different, and it is trending.
CBF has been offering Liquid Metal for a couple of years since we first put it on our own shirts. It’s always been a niche business compared our bread and butter of labels, hang tags, and patches.
But my experience at the Ducks game led me to research just how popular Liquid Metal is becoming.
Very, it turns out.
Soccer teams first introduced Liquid Metal lines last year. Football and basketball teams followed suit. Although I couldn’t find specific sales data, I did find out that most sports teams will be offering Liquid Metal on their lines of sports apparel next year.
So then I thought, this is just material for sports teams, right? Nope. Non-sports brands are using Liquid Metal. Even high-end fashion brands like Gucci, Prada, and Armani. Large corporations like software companies are using it. Professional uniforms designers are using it. Promotional product companies are putting it on both apparel and hard goods.
It is not everywhere yet, but it looks like it could be soon.
Seeing a trend like this is exciting for all of us at CBF. We have been offering Liquid Metal transfers for the last couple of years.
We offer Liquid Metal in all three forms:
Dome Liquid MetalTexturized Liquid MetalBeveled Liquid Metal
Dome Liquid Metal Label
Texturized Liquid Metal Label
Beveled Liquid Metal Label
Dome has a shiny finish and creates a unique 3D effect on apparel.Texturized adds texture to the graphic.Beveled edges create another unique 3D effect with edges.
On all three styles, both metallic and non-metallic finishes are available. Liquid Metal can be applied to garments by transfer or come with a pressure sensitive adhesive backing.
Our Liquid Metal has fast turn times, is tested for proven performance, and is easy to order from our dedicated sales and services team.
If you haven’t noticed Liquid Metal around yet, I will bet that by this fall football season you will. If you are not experimenting with Liquid Metal in your own brand or product catalog, I encourage you to do so. The big brands are taking a hard look at this and we all should put it higher on the priority list for this coming year.

Custom T-Shirt Tags and Labels
Custom T-Shirt Tags & Labels
Just about every piece of clothing comes with an apparel label. For something so small, these labels are essential parts of apparel and garments. In the United States of America, and many other countries, clothing can’t be sold if it does not have a care label or does not have care instructions which are found on a label. The tags are significant because they contain vital information about the garment just as other goods we purchase have labels around their containers that tell us everything we need to know about the content of the container or the product we are buying. Most labels are generic in nature containing the same information and following specific formats depending on the standard styles of labels which include a die cut, a Manhattan cut, straight cut, loop fold, centerfold, end fold, and a miter fold.
Types of T Shirt Labels
Labels are generally of two types, printed cloth, and fabric pieces. These two types have their disadvantages and advantages. The printed cloth fabric is known to fade with time, usually after washing them multiple times. In general, most brand names are okay with having a generic label especially since most people don’t pay much attention to the labels and customized labels cost a little bit more money. However, brands focusing on t-shirts utilize a personalized label which would be unique to their brand. The most significant advantage of having a customized T-shirt label is the exclusivity. No one else has a tag design like your own, which makes it easier for customers to pinpoint your product and prove the authenticity of your items anywhere they see it. Also when it comes to T-shirts, labels are incredibly important, almost as important as the tshirt design or lack of design. A custom t shirt label would go a long way to giving a T-shirt that unique factor. These customized T-shirt labels are usually placed on the top inside corner of the back of the T-shirt where it can be seen by people easily.
What’s On A Customized T-Shirt Label?
On a standard generic article trim/label, certain things must be present, including care instructions, brand name, information on the material and size of the fabric. These things should also show up on the custom labels together because of how important they are. However, some more information is expected to be shown on the material, and this includes the country of origin and the RN number. The RN number refers to the Registered Identification Number which is issued to the brand by the Federal Trade Commission. Care instructions are vital and must not be forgotten as the shirt would be unable to be sold. Unlike standard labels which are made from damask or woven fabric, custom T-shirt labels typically are not. They are usually printed using a particular type of ink. Sometimes when the T-shirt in question features lighter colors, the brand should make sure the ink used for the label does not bleed out through to the other side and destroy the cloth.

4 Things to Look for on a Garment Label
Clothing labels are one of the most overlooked things on clothes. They are small usually an inch or an inch and a half in size and most times don’t prove interesting enough to us except when it comes to the size and care instructions for the garment. However, labels are an essential part of every piece of apparel.
A garment with a tag strikes a chord of rightness and legitimacy. It also helps us rest easy and not worry about the quality of the material or the brand. Much in the same way that a warranty on electronic products sets our minds at ease because we know where to go to should something go wrong, labels do the same for clothes. Tags contain information about the producers of the item, instructions for care and size of the garment. These labels are also used to ascertain the authenticity of clothes sold in the US and beyond.
WHAT ARE CLOTHING LABELS MADE OF? Have you ever noticed that almost all of your labels have this glossy finish that feels very nice to touch? That’s because labels are made of acetate coated with satin. This lends it durability and a shiny sheen. Most labels are generally made of this satiny finish however some other labels prefer to come in the same material as the cloth that bears it which might cotton or silk depending on the material used to make the fabric. Overall, the choice of label material depends solely on the brand designing the clothing.
THINGS THAT CAN BE FOUND ON A LABEL. So what should a label contain? Because a tag is supposed to give the user a lot of information about the clothe and how to care for it well to prevent easy wear and tear, what should stay on the label and what can be forfeit? Certain things just should not be missing from a label. They are very important, and they include;
1. GARMENT SIZE When you go shopping and see a beautiful top or skirt on display, and you think it might be your size, but you aren’t so sure, what do you do? You check the label right? How else would a buyer be able to spot the size of an article of clothing without being able to check the label? Having a label that clearly shows the size of the material is therefore very important not only to make stocking easier but also to prevent customers from buying clothes that aren’t in their sizes. The size of the clothing is usually written boldly at the bottom part of the label. The sizes usually come in this code S, M, L, XL, XXL, XXXL which means Small, Medium, Large, Extra-large, Extra extra large and triple Extra large.
2. CARE INSTRUCTIONS Care instructions are almost as important on a label as the size of the item. Each one of the clothes has care instructions peculiar to it. These care instructions are dependent on the material and chemicals used to make the clothing. Care instructions are essential as they teach the owner of the best way to keep it clean and good-to-use for as long as possible. Some materials do not withstand specific temperatures while others are too fragile to be washed through the usual means and have to be expressly dry cleaned. The care instructions are there to make sure that the buyer does not damage the clothing. Care instructions do not have a particular position on the label, but I must mention that I’ve mostly seen them at the backs of the tags and sometimes they come on a separate label especially when the instructions are very detailed. The care instructions usually contain limits and suggestions on how to clean and maintain the cloth. The information given is arranged under significant groups which include washing, drying, ironing, and bleaching. Most times symbols are used in addition to written words to help you remember the instructions. Care instructions are so necessary that an apparel item can be imported into the country without any care instruction, but it must have one before it is sold.
3. INFORMATION ABOUT THE MATERIAL I’m sure pretty much everyone has come across material information on their labels. It usually looks like this “90% nylon, 5% cotton, 5% silk”. This is very important information that must be on the label. This is because some people might have reactions to certain fabrics and might not know that a particular clothe contains that fabric and would purchase it. Also, it’s always good for a person to know what it’s made of so that they can make an informed choice to get the clothe or not. Some people are conscious of the environment and would not like to wear clothes whose production process might have endangered the environment so to avoid a possible problem, the labels should be completely honest about what materials their clothes are made of. Lots of clothing fabrics are derived from plastic, and it’s important to let the potential buyer know all the facts before they purchase your product.
4. BRAND NAME Yes, the brand. From Marks and Spencer to DKNY and other well-known clothing brands, every single article of clothing they release comes out with the brand of the company on it. You might wonder why it’s essential that the brand is there. Most people feel more comfortable wearing a particular brand. These people might overlook your cloth if it does not have a brand on its label. In addition to this, the brand name is vital for references. Someone might wear a Marks and Spencer shirt today and love it. They might also want to look for other clothes that the same designer has done. The label tells them what brand the clothe belongs to. Another angle to this is that should you have complaints to make, then the brand name is readily available for you.
The clothing size, the material from which the garment is made, the care instructions and the brand name are four fundamental things that must be seen on any label. Other things can be added to a label, but these four are the basic.

5 Common Mistakes to Avoid on your Next Label Order
Are you looking to add that last finishing touch to your apparel trim or do you just want to include a small branded touch with your business name or logo? If the answer is yes, there is a pretty good chance that you’re going to be ordering custom woven clothing labels at some point or another. You can use the tags for an abundance of purposes. You can use them to ensure that everyone is able to find the clothing that belongs to them. You can also use them to leave your loved ones loving messages every single day. Either way, you need to make sure that you’re ordering the items correctly. Below, you’re going to discover mistakes that need to be avoided when ordering custom woven clothing labels.
Failing To Ask For Samples
The truth of the matter is that not all woven labels are going to be satisfactory for you. Therefore, you may need to test them out for yourself. The good news is that most companies will be happy to provide you with general samples. Also, be sure to get different types of samples. For instance, you should ask about satin, damask, and other examples.
Looking at the samples in advance can really make a big difference. After all, you’ll be able to get the feel of them yourself and compare them to products from other companies.
Not Analyzing The Digital Proof
Eventually, the company’s representative is going to send you a digital proof of the completed artwork. Making sure that you analyze the digital proof carefully is pertinent. If you do not, there is a good chance that you’re going to get the labels and they’re not going to suit your unique needs. Just print the proof in 1:1 scale and that will allow you to judge its size. Also, check everything else. Take a look at the colors, cutting, text, and even the folding. The company will be happy to make alterations if necessary. Therefore, you absolutely need to be sure that everything is right from the get-go.
Not Getting Your Sample
You’ll also be happy to know that the company is going to provide you with samples of the completed digital proof. This should be submitted before the labels go into production. It is truly in your best interest to get the sampling and analyze it yourself. In all likelihood, the sample will arrive in strips. No cutting or folding will be done. Be sure to place this sample on your clothing to make sure it is going to work as intended. Again, the company will be happy to make changes as necessary. Therefore, you should definitely ask for alterations if needed.
Either way, failing to check your sample is a major mistake!
Failing To Order In Advance
As you can see from the steps above, the process of buying and receiving custom woven labels can be somewhat time-consuming. Therefore, you really have to plan everything out in advance. You just never know what types of delays you’re going to run into. You need to make sure that the labels arrive on time. This is why you’ll want to order ahead of time. The company will likely be able to offer expedited service though. That will be more expensive, but it can help get the labels to your door much quicker.
To avoid paying these excessive costs, you should try ordering the labels at least 2 weeks in advance. This will ensure that you’re able to receive the tags that you desire without having to pay any extra costs.
Not Ordering Extras
Remember that a lot of companies require you to order a specific number of labels. The truth of the matter is that it is always a good idea to order extras. After all, custom woven labels can be used for an abundance of purpose. At the same time, they’re somewhat small and relatively easy to lose. With that being said, you need to make sure that you order a few extras. That won’t increase the price too much, and it’ll make sure that you’re prepared for anything that happens. Besides, there is really nothing to lose when you order a few extra quality custom woven labels for yourself.

🌞Sticker Branding – 4 Sticker Marketing Ideas Local Organizations Use That Your Business Isn’t (But Should)
Sticker Marketing Strategies & Branding Ideas – 4 Ways Local Organizations Are Using Printed Stickers
When we brainstorm ideas on getting the word out about our company or the services we offer, there’s a tendency to rush and perform a Google search for the best ways to promote a company.
Although that is fine and dandy, and I’m sure you’ll find some great ideas. Here are four distinct ways that I remember from my personal experience that involves custom sticker labels being used as a great promotional and give-away product to help brand a company.
This article written by guest contributor Rob Pene
I remember noticing these organizations using tiny little stickers to their advantage, making a very big impact as they creatively worked to extend their marketing dollars beyond a simple flyer distribution system.
Elementary School Rewards Children for “Walk & Bike to School Day”
I did not realize there was such a thing as a “walk and bike to school day” until my daughter mentioned that she wanted to wake up at 6 a.m. then start walking to school because there was a special initiative she learned about in class.
I thought to myself it was a great idea, then I wondered where it came from and what the purpose was. So I went online, did a little bit of research, and found that the purpose behind the initiative was to encourage physical activity, family connection, and getting more cars off the street.
We did not wake up that early, but we did leave earlier than normal and park very very far so that we could walk to school along with everybody else that was walking. The interesting thing that happened was there were three times more volunteers with orange shirts on handing out stickers.
Of course, the children always love stickers!
But what caught my attention was that the sticker mirrored the embroidered logo on their t-shirt. In retrospect, I realized that it was a very good marketing move because the tiny little stickers are able to go further and reach more people due to its low cost, compared to the t-shirt. However, because the logo was very memorable, as it stood out on the t-shirt, it made me realize that I wanted a t-shirt as well and that the logo to our trusted elementary school was something I would be proud of wearing.
Kudos to our elementary school!!
Police Station Gives Every Child A Sticker At Community Festival
Recently at our local community center, the city put on a festival celebrating the diversity in our city as well as all the different small businesses that helped to provide jobs to the people of our community. it was a fun time!  There were booths for various organizations, entertainment, food, and a lot of people.
My kids love stickers and when the police were walking around handing each child a police badge sticker, somehow I ended up with 6 police badge stickers stuck to my chest.  These are the same stickers that they handed out when we walked by the police station the other day, which coincidentally was the same day that my son said he wanted to grow up to be a policeman.
The more people see your brand or icon the more memorable it becomes, and the higher the likelihood of establishing a lasting impact increases.   That is what it felt like when I saw the police stickers at the festival. It reminded me of when my son was excited about serving our local community in that capacity, as a policeman.
Oh, and yes, they too had t-shirts with their embroidered logo on it.
Consumer Law Attorney Promotes Free Consultations
I have a friend who is a local attorney that handles bankruptcy, foreclosure, lemon law, as a Consumer Law Attorney.  He is also quite the marketing mind. When I went over to visit with him, he had a big smile on his face and handed me a stack of sheets that almost looked like fortune cookie slivers, only 5x bigger.
I looked at it and all it said was “Talk to a lawyer for FREE” and in small font underneath was the phone number.
I thought it was a great way to get people’s attention especially since we all know that lawyers and their hourly rates are very expensive. For my friend, well, his hourly rate is $695. I asked him why he chose to promote the free phone call versus promoting his brand and logo, he laughed and replied: “who doesn’t want to talk to an attorney for FREE?”
His rationale made a lot of sense to me. as we parted ways I noticed that he had a bumper sticker that said the same thing.  Looks like he was utilizing those marketing chops to his advantage.
I asked him if he had a t-shirt with the same message, he replied no, but then he opened the trunk of his car and took out a bag which by the way had that same exact same embroidered to the side of it.
Nice job and well played
Tumblr media
Beauty Salon Offers Discount At Local Shopping Center
Who doesn’t like free stuff right? I would say the same thing about discounts. Who doesn’t love a good discount?
A local Beauty Salon was handing out free combs at the nearby shopping center. I thought it was an interesting giveaway, but the more intriguing part was tucked away inside the package.  It was a 50% off coupon to their beauty salon inside. The logo was absent on the packaging and on the front of the coupon, it had 50% off, and on the back of the coupon, it had the phone number, address, and website.
I think that was quite effective and actually extremely relevant because of the comb.
I’m sure a lot of people (especially the women) might have taken them up on their offer.
Assuming they did a great job at the salon, I think people would also buy merchandise at the salon.  The initial incentive of the free giveaway coupled with the discount coupon is a great deal by itself.  But then you add in quality service, with quality merchandise, it sure looks to me like a winning formula.
Nice Job, Nice Job!
All these different scenarios had great ideas and executed on the purpose of promoting their brand in multiple ways.  They all had a small and versatile item, like the sticker or the discount coupon, and were able to give it to as many people as possible. Yet, at the same time, they had items of much higher value, like the shirts with embroidery patches and the embroidered bag on display.
By giving away the low-cost item while showcasing the higher value item at the same time, it certainly helped to increase awareness for the brand and extend its reach as well.
Nice job, nice job.
If you’re looking to extend the reach of your company message or brand, consider printing stickers, discount coupons and embroidering merchandise with your message.  You’ll be surprised who remembers where they saw your logo and with whom it was associated with.

5 Ways to Help Identify Vintage Clothing by Brand Labels
So you may just be getting into the vintage clothing community, and you find everything about it fascinating. You may have even gone for a few hunts at garage sales, vintage stalls, estate sales, and thrift stores. Searching for gold through someone’s forgotten garments.
In this search, your focus isn’t just on any kind of clothing. You are looking for vintage wear, which are dresses, clothing, and garments whose style is at least 20 years old, and not over 100 as that would be referred to as antique.
What are vintage clothing labels?
Well, they are labels that you find on vintage clothing. But they often times serve as authenticity stamps that certify that an article of clothing is genuinely vintage. This has made old clothing & garment labels very important in the hunt for clothing from a past era.
These are the 5 ways one can use labels to find vintage clothing:
Printed or Woven Labels
The printed labels tell you that such attire was produced between the 1950s and the later part of the 1970s. These also show that the vintage clothing might be made of low-quality material and therefore cheaply produced.
Meanwhile, the opposite is the case for the woven labels. Vintage clothing found with woven labels are usually made of high-quality materials and expensive to produce.
This is an essential piece of information if one hopes to resell these items.
Copyright Year on Labels
The year displayed on the label of vintage clothing shows the year that clothing’s brand was copyrighted. This should probably be the first place to look when verifying if a dress is vintage. To be safe, make sure that the copyright year is at least 20 years older than today.
Country of Manufacture
When you see the country of manufacture displayed on the front of the label, e.g., Made in America, then one can say that the clothing most likely comes from the 1980s. At that point in time, a lot of clothes worn in the US were made in the US. That isn’t the case today. And if countries of manufacture are still displayed, they are at the back of the label and not on the front.
No Zip code
If you see a dress you admire while shopping for vintage clothing, check the label for zip codes. If they aren’t any, then there
This is because zip codes were only put to use in America less than a 100 years ago. In fact, zip codes weren’t used in the US until after 1963. So if you have a dress whose label only shows the name and address of the brand, then that clothing could be safely be dated as pre-1963.
Vintage Brands
Apart from revealing the quality of clothing or location of manufacture, labels had on them the names of the brands that designed and made them. Hence names of designers were on the labels of these wears. There are archives of these old brands and having knowledge of them can go a long way in helping you verify the authenticity of vintage wear when you spot the brand name on its label.
Armed with these tips above, I hope you find luck whenever you go vintage clothing hunting again!

3 Types of Custom Label Materials That Can Boost Your Clothing Line Business
So you have been working day and night to get your clothing line business off the ground. You have got your designs ready, your suppliers have sent you samples of whose quality you are satisfied with. You even have a digital marketing strategy in place but haven’t decided on what material your custom label should be made of. You know that you want a material that can retain the colors you print on the custom label so that your logo, washing instructions or contact information all stand out.
But you’re torn between pros and cons of each material. You want to get it right since the material of your custom label can have a significant effect on the perception your target market has of your product.
A mismatch could turn a high-quality product into a cheap knockoff — at least in the eyes of the consumer, or make it ooze class.
The magic lies in selecting the right custom label material that fits your product and makes it appealing to your target audience. And that is why we have taken time to look into 3 of the most popular materials used in making custom labels to see which one best fits you.
And with that being said we would start with the hemp.
Hemp Custom Label Material
The hemp fiber is one of the natural fibers with widespread use in the textile world today. This is as a result of the advantages it has over other fibers such as polyester and nylon, and it’s eco-friendly nature as a tag.
Benefits of Hemp As Label Material
You see, the hemp material when in contact with human skin can be very comfortable and not irritating.
This experience only gets better with time as hemp textile tends to soften with age. Nothing can build your brand better than an amazing customer experience.
But the advantages of the hemp material don’t just lie in its texture. Wearing hemp fabric comes with health benefits too! You see, the hemp fabric helps control the population of certain bacteria that tend to cause the skin problems if left unchecked, Eg. staph. I guess you didn’t see that coming, did you?
It is also known for its strength, such that it has been used by the navy to make ropes and sails for ships.
But this material has its setbacks as well.
Things to consider about Hemp Label Materials
Like all natural fibers, the hemp is prone to shrinkage and wrinkling. This isn’t a good thing when it comes to your custom label as such incidents not only put a blemish to the beauty of your products but undermines the message displayed on the custom label, be it your brand message like your logo, contact information, washing instructions etc.
Taking care of this material can be complicated as it can get bleached it exposed to sunlight. The hemp may age like wine when it comes to its texture but when we rate the material by color, it resembles milk. With time, the colors on your hemp fabric won’t look as bright as they once were, thus cheapening the quality of your product.
PVC/Silicone Custom Labels
This material is very often used to produce eye-catching custom labels today. And this is because of the advantages that these 2 materials have over some other custom label materials.
We will be looking into some of these advantages now.
Benefits of PVC/Silicone As Label Material
These 2 materials are waterproof and thus are resistant to mildew when used as custom labels on fabric. No worries about color dissolving when your product gets washed.
As custom label materials, they can also be easily sewn together with clothing thereby making your production process a lot easier and faster.
They can be tweaked to bear the logo of your business in great colors. So that creative logo that best represents what you and your business stand for, can be displayed on the custom label.
These colors last a long time as PVC/Silicone materials are resistant to the bleaching effect of sunlight (UV rays). And that is to say that your brand remains top of mind no matter the laundry your fabric goes through, dryer or otherwise.
Also, you could be cutting back on expenses as the production of PVC/Silicone material is pretty low in comparison to other custom label materials available today.
And now to some setbacks with the PVC/Silicone custom label material.
Things to consider about Silicone or PVC Label Materials
The PVC material, in particular, isn’t as heat resistant as the Silicone material. And so could melt at certain temperatures.
Only the silicone custom label material can be stretchy, the PVC can’t. This stretchy material enhances comfort and thus plays a role in your customer’s experience.
Although the silicone is more environmentally friendly when compared to the PVC, its cost of production is a bit higher than that of the PVC custom label material. So based on what you believe in when it comes to matters concerning the environment, you may want to spend more or less on getting either material.
Cotton Custom Label Material
Using cotton as your custom label material comes with its perks and problems. The pros and cons of using this material to produce custom labels for clothing line will be weighed below.
Here are some of the advantages of using cotton custom label material.
Benefits of Cotton as Label Material
It is resistant to insect attack such as the dust mite. This means that when your logo or contact information remains on your custom label and the minds of your customers for a very long time.
It is hypoallergenic. That is to say that they can prevent skin problems for the wearer whose skin it is in contact with. It does this by killing offer excess numbers of the staph bacteria that could cause infection. This is an added health benefit to your customers. It could also serve as a selling point to your target market.
It is environmentally friendly and so using this as your custom label material would mean doing your own part in preserving the earth for the unborn.
That must feel good, doesn’t it?
Okay, to the disadvantages of using cotton as your custom label material.
Things to consider about Cotton Label Materials
Cotton-like most natural fibers are susceptible to wrinkling and shrinkage. This would be a setback for you if your custom label is used as a marketing channel to grow your business.
With time your logo and contact information cease to be legible as your cotton custom label wrinkles and shrinks. That would mean wasted marketing efforts and this is bad for business.
Gets bleached and weakened by UV rays from the sun. This means that colors on your cotton custom label material have a hard time standing the test of time. This can be perceived by your target market as a dent in the quality of your product.
Finally cotton requires a lot of care and in a world where the customer is sold convenience first before product eg Amazon, having your customers worrying about complicated washing directions isn’t a position you want your business to be in. You have to keep that in mind if you want to go the cotton way.
Now since the pros and cons of these 3 materials have been discussed in depth, you can now make a well-informed decision on what material your custom label would be made of — knowing what your customer would like.

Make Your Brand Stand Out With PVC Clothing Labels
Not all clothing labels stand out and add texture or character to clothing, but PVC labels can do just that. These are the kind of labels that people can’t help but pay attention to, and they can actually add to the aesthetic appeal of the clothing they are used on.
Look at gloves that have a thick, heavy PVC label attached to them. This tends to be a large label placed on the back of the palm that stretches across the length of the glove. You can print your company’s logo or brand name body there, making it easy to see and also making it a natural part of the glove’s textured look. If you look at PVC labels on both gloves and backpacks, you can see that these improve the perception of quality the clothing has. It makes the product look more expensive and more prestige, if you will, especially if the label is done right.
If you really want to boost your brand and adorn products with your labels, then you do need to make sure they are attached with care. They need to be manufactured by industry experts who have experience in what they are doing and know how to modify their work to make it appeal to the customer. Not every custom clothing label company will even offer PVC labels, because they can be hard to pull off effectively. Then again, not every company that offers them will be able to do the job well. You’ll want to do your research and look into the reputation of the company to see if they have been successful in producing the kind of labels you are looking for.
When done well, PVC labels can really boost your brand and make it far more noticeable. We said before that this kind of label, when manufactured with quality, can give an item a sense of prestige. That carries over to your brand, and you can benefit from the perception people have of your products. If they think your products are high quality, then they will think of your company and your brand in the same way.
Now, PVC labels are not ideal for every kind of item. You would not use them, for example, on most shirts, neckties, socks and other items that are designed to be soft all over. PVC levels tend to be rubbery and hard, and you need to use them appropriately. You can actually hurt your brand if you are not careful about how you implement certain kinds of labels. You can end up looking like you have no idea what you are doing. PVC labels may look great, but they are not designed to be used on everything. They work best for rugged, durable clothing and items that are intended to be used roughly. That includes backpacks, boots, sneakers and some kinds of gloves.
You’ll want to be consistent in your branding and level of quality if you are going to use PVC labels to boost your brand, though. You should have them all produced by the same company, as that allows you to control the level of quality that is being implemented and ensures that you have a homogenous look across the board. If some of your products have shoddy labels while others have high-quality labels, then that will damage your brand and lead to customer confusion. People will have the wrong perception of you, and your brand will not be as strong as it could be.

Various Ways to Use Customized Sticker Clothing Tags
Certain kinds of custom labels have an incredibly diverse range of uses. Take custom hang tag stickers for example. These are used by business owners in many different ways to promote their brand and bring in new business. Stickers may seem like an inexpensive way to tag an item of clothing, but savvy business owners know that they can be a huge benefit to their business.
Sticker tags can be used to provide sizing information. They can be applied to products that are already in the store or warehouse but are missing easily legible sizing labels. They can also be used to make sizing labeling more apparent. Customers may not want to take the time to look through the sticker tags on the inside collar or back of the article of clothing. A small sticker applied to the front of the garment can make it much easier for them to tell what size the clothes are. This means that the clothes will be handled less often and that the customer will be greatly accommodated.
Sticker tags can be used to make clothing more attractive to kids as well. Bright stickers can be customized with interesting designs that are appealing to kids. The designs don’t necessarily have to have anything to do with the brand or the clothing itself, but they can create a certain attitude and elicit an emotional response from potential buyers. Clothes meant for little girls may benefit from flower or butterfly sticker tags Those meant for use in sporting events can be slapped with sporting stickers. The point of this kind of tag is to add some perceived value to the product and make it catch the customer’s eyes.
Businesses can use stickers to offer additional information to the customers, such as sale prices or to show that a particular line of clothing belongs to that line. Informational stickers can be printed with messages like “trending” or “hot item” to denote that something is a fast seller or likely to become a fast seller and draw customer attention to it. The right line of information on a sticker can make a big difference in how well it sells and how easily it attracts the customers.
Stickers tags can be used to promote a brand as well. Businesses can use much larger brand logos on stickers that can be larger or bolder than they may want to risk using on the clothing itself. They may take risks with the sticker that they would not take with the woven label since many customers are not going to use obvious branding on their clothing’s. Yet, they may still want to know what brand the clothing comes from, and attaching these inexpensive stickers to a brand’s clothing line helps to draw attention to the brand and raise awareness about what kind of clothing they create and sell. This brings a line of clothing to gather and makes it easier for a customer to see what the brand is all about, as they see highly visible branding in the form of stickers on all that company’s clothing.

Create a Sense of Elegance For Your Brand Using the Right Clothing Labels
Business owners often want their brand to be perceived as prestigious. Putting that word in a slogan won’t be enough to convince their customers that they are a high-end brand or that they are worth shopping with over the competition. It takes a lot of small touches to create the impression of prestige within a brand. One of the ways that business owners can do that is by using the right kind of clothing labels.
Woven patches made from suede or leather can have a big impact on how the clothing is perceived. The same clothing with heat transfer patches will not look as elegant and fancy as it does with suede or leather patches. When more expensive materials are used, it creates an impression that the clothing is more prestigious, and something as simple as the clothing label needs to be considered when someone is trying to change perceptions about their brand.
When a brand struggles to gain recognition or to be seen in the light the business owners wish it would be, then it takes a concerted effort to change the impression the public has of the brand. Every aspect of the business needs to be taken into account. The customers may only see the clothing patches for a few moments, but those moments can have an impact.
Obviously, these kinds of patches will be more expensive than other types of clothing labels, but that is kind of the point. To create a sense of elegance and stature within the brand, some money will need to be put into it. Otherwise, it can end up looking cheap, and any efforts to try to change the perception to something with prestige will fall on deaf ears and be seen as a way to make a quick buck.
The impact of using clothing labels to relay a branding message in part is that it is not very obvious, yet it is something that everyone will see. Whether a business owner is selling the clothes or changing up the style of dress on their employees, a small change like this can have far-reaching effects. It may require a significant initial cost, for a company to make brand-wide changes in the kind of labels being used or to add these patches to a new line of clothing or a new set of uniforms. However, that investment can pay off, as customers see the brand in a new way and recognize it as a business and a brand with greater standing.
In today’s technically advanced world, people are very connected. So, if a business owner can get word to just a few people that their brand is changing or that it is becoming more prestigious, that can spread quickly across social media, through videos, blogs, posts, and pictures. Those small patches that may seem insignificant will have the potential to reach a massive audience and be appreciated by people all around the world. It’s difficult to predict what exactly will catch people’s interest, get them talking and make a brand go viral, so it is important to focus on even the small details and give them a chance to be relevant to the public.

How Family Clothing Labels Make Laundry Easier
Improve Laundry Day: Label Your Family’s Clothes
When you go to sort clothes for your family on laundry day, do you have trouble telling which clothes belong to which family member? Perhaps you have children in the home that fight over who gets to wear a certain item of clothing because they all believe it belongs to them.
Easier Sorting The simple solution to these issues is to have clothing labels for each family member’s clothes. That makes it so much easier to sort through what belongs to whom if you have a label to tell you. You no longer have to hold it up to you and see how big it is to determine who it belongs to. You can just check the labels. Personalized labels are a great way to differentiate clothes and make it easy to tell who the item belongs to without having to go through any extra steps. It saves you some work and keeps the house a bit more orderly and relaxed. No one will be fighting over who owns a particular piece of clothing if it is clearly labeled.
Less Fighting Labeling clothes with personalized tags that have a person’s name on them, a nickname or a personal message can be a great way to minimize stress at dressing time. If you have a small child who gives you trouble to wear the clothes you have picked out, then you can always show them their name on the tag and help them to feel ownership over what they are wearing. That can actually settle a lot of problems for you. It can come in useful during crucial times when you need to hurry to get everyone ready and out the door on time. Just show them their clothing tags so that they can feel better about wearing something that might not be their first choice otherwise.
Ownership You can also help kids to feel more ownership over their clothing by having their names or personal messages on the clothes. They may take better care of the items or be more likely to put them away and keep their dirty clothes neat. They may feel a personal connection to the clothes with a custom tag, and that can make a huge difference in how they treat their clothes, how tidy they keep their dirty laundry and how they respond when you tell them to get dressed. Having their name on the clothes creates a personal link that is tough to break. These tips related to clothing tags are not just about helping you when you go to put clothes in the laundry and sort the clothes into their respective drawer. It can change your kids’ entire attitude about clothing and how excited they get about getting dressed in the morning. You can reduce friction and bring a bit more joy into their lives by giving them something personal at low cost. If you want the laundry to go a bit faster, you want your kids to be more likely to help out with putting their clothes away and you want your kids to be happier about what they wear, then this is definitely the way to go.

3 Differences Between Woven and Printed Labels
The Difference between Woven and Printed Labels for Your Business
To choose the right clothing label for your products, you need to know how they differ as well as what benefits one type of label offers over another. There are certain circumstances where one kind of label would be more desired than another, and we want to point out a few of those instances and cover how printed labels and woven labels differ from one another. We are looking at these differences from a business perspective. You need to know how to choose the right one for your company.
The Detail The major difference is how much detail these two types of labels can show. Printed labels can have as much detail as you like. They can show very minor components that can be easily discerned by the naked eye. Woven labels, on the other hand, have to be designed in such a way as to accommodate the fuzziness of the final look.
For instance, if you want words to show up legibly on woven labels, then they need to be large, capital letters. If you go for smaller, common letters, then you will get a label that might be difficult to read. Your brand name might not show up clearly and any message you are writing on the label will be very hard for your customers to make out. You even have to be careful with logos on woven labels, because if they are too small, then they may not show up properly and your logo may be tough to make out.
Cost Of course, if you are choosing a clothing label for your company to be used on a number of products, then you need to factor in the cost when you are making your decision. You can’t necessarily afford an expensive label to be used for a large order. The increased cost can add up quickly and suck out your profits. Printed labels can be cheaper or the same price when compared to woven labels, but where the price usually differs is in the background color. With woven labels, you a choose a wide range of colors for the same price or nearly the same price as a simple white label. For printed labels, there are usually only one or two colors the label company will offer as standard. If you want something that’s a different color, then you will usually have to pay extra. Keep that in mind as you are making your decision.
Timeliness How soon do you need your order of clothing labels? Not all types of labels take the same amount of time to produce, and you need to ask about that before you make your decision. If you need your order in just a few days, then you may be limited as to what type of label you use. Be sure to ask about the timeframe on the labels if it is important to you. New product launches and other timed events may not provide much leeway for you in terms of scheduling, so be sure to find out upfront how long you have to wait for the labels.

Offer Comfort by Using Heat Transfer Labels
Heat Transfer Labels Improve Comfort
How can you advertise your brand and add labels to a piece of clothing without making it uncomfortable? We all know the sensation of having a tag scratching at the back of your neck on your shirt or the discomfort of having a tag from your jeans poking through the bottom of your shirt and causing irritation. These are common issues that can be solved by being a bit smarter with your tags.
If you choose heat transfer labels instead of woven labels or some other type of custom tag, then you can reduce irritation and increase comfort for the wearer.
Ultimately, when you add a label to a piece of clothing, a backpack, a hat or some other product, you are advertising your brand. How that label affects the customer will determine what they think of your company. If the customer is irritated with your labels, then they are going to be irritated with your company. There is a good chance that they will remember your company name when they are going to buy clothes and then not buy anything you produce because of how your tags irritated them.
This is true of your employees as well if you are adding tags to company products that you want your employees to wear. They may not be motived to put on the uniform and come to work if they know the labels that have to be a part of the clothing are going to irritate them. If the label on their hat is sticking out, is scratching their head or is too heavy, then that will be uncomfortable. If they have tags on their shirts or pants that are itching them, then that can make them irritable and less likely to be effective at work.
You can use heat transfer labels to eliminate clothing tag irritation. These provide seamless integration with the clothing, and the wearer will hardly even notice they are there. These are the most comfortable tags you can use since they don’t stick out or scratch the wearer. You can always replace the current tags you have on your clothing with these. It may take some work, some time and some money, but it can be worth it to have your company look better in the eyes of your customers and employees.
Remember that even if you are attaching labels to just the employee clothing, there is still a risk that you can hurt your company’s reputation. Those employees may talk about your company and tell others about how the labels irritate them and how management doesn’t seem to care about their discomfort. That can leave a bad taste in the customer’s mouth and make them less likely to do business with you. You have to be careful about how you treat your employees, even when it comes to choosing the type of label that will be on their clothes.
You can make a huge difference in how your employees feel about you and your company or how your costumers perceive your brand by ensuring that labels are unobtrusive, that they are comfortable and that they present your company in a positive light. Remember that these days word of mouth can spread very fast, and if one person is unsatisfied with your company’s output or actions, then a lot of people can find out about that quickly. The reverse is true as well, though. If you are taking good care of your employees, if you’re using heat transfer labels that are comfortable for employees or for customers, then people may start talking about that as well. Do the right thing for your company and consider using this kind of label for your clothing.

Utilizing Branded Clothing With Seamless Logo Integration
Seamless Clothing Logo Integration Is Possible with Printed Heat Transfers
If you want to advertise your brand in an organic and non-obtrusive way, then applying business logos to clothing is the perfect way to do so. You can adorn your employees’ clothes and your own with your company logo in a way that looks flawless, and you can start spreading the word about your company.
You may already have company uniforms picked out but not found a way to get the logos worked into the clothing in an affordable away and in a way that looks like some effort was put into it. A lot of custom heat transfers clothing patches look low quality and lack the pizzazz and class of professional stitching. Of course, having logos stitched onto your company clothing can not only take a long time, but it can also cost a lot of money.
Affordable Options
It is cheaper to go with printed heat transfers, and that method doesn’t have to leave you with less than satisfactory results. You can get incredible looking clothing with seamlessly integrated logos by choosing a quality clothing label provider. You need someone who is trusted within the industry and who delivers great results every time. Getting high-quality services doesn’t have to be expensive, and you can get results you are happy with for a decent price. You don’t have to settle for anything less than the very best.
When it is your company on the line, you need only the best. Your logos and the way they are integrated into your employees’ clothing say a lot about your company. You use these to make a first impression on people every day, and you want that to be a great first impression. You may have put a lot of time and effort into designing or choosing the perfect logo for your company, but all that goes to waste if the clothing label and the process used to apply that logo to the company clothing is not of very good quality.
Use A Trusted Manufacturer
You’ll want to be careful as to who you trust to do this work because the finished results will have an impact on your company’s marketing and your bottom line. That’s right- sales can be affected by how professional your company’s clothing and logos look. The printed heat transfer has to be perfect, and you need it to last for a while so that you get a good return on your investment. That’s why it is important to not just let anyone do the work.
Seamlessly integrating the logo into the clothing is a job that has to be done in a calculated way. The best clothing label companies will take time to ensure that the right transfer patches are being used, depending on what kind of clothing they are being transferred to. Different materials require separate transfer options, and you want to be sure that you are getting the most suitable one. That means that the label will stay on for a long time, will be tough to tear or damage and will look just as good in a few months as it did when it was first placed onto the clothing.

Get That Perfect Rugged Look For Your Apparel
Leather Patches Are Perfect for a Rugged Look
The leather jacket has long been the quintessential cool look for men and women alike. James Dean made it a staple of a man’s wardrobe in his Hollywood heyday, and television characters like “The Fonz” from Happy Days ensured that its association with effortless cool was maintained from one generation to the next. Whether they are bomber jackets or biker vests, the leather jacket has never lost its inheritance over the last few decades, and there is little chance that this is going to change anytime soon.
In order to not look like every other person wanting to be the next cool guy or gal, many people will personalize their leather jackets. They’ll put leather patches on the back, arm or shoulder to signify their allegiances, fandom or patriotism. It’s not uncommon for people to emblazon their jackets with the flag of their country, the insignia of their group or even the name of their company. It’s a way to show people what they stand for and add some character to a wardrobe staple.
It doesn’t have to cost you a lot to add on patches to a leather jacket that someone already has an attachment to. The work doesn’t have to jeopardize their favorite clothes either. It can be added skillfully and inexpensively to any kind of leather product to make it stand out and become a personal statement.
Adding a leather patch to a jacket can be an excellent way to add value or longevity to something that maybe seems out of style for an individual or that may not be something that fits with their typical apparel choices.
Of course, leather patches can be added to a wide range of garments. Denim (including jeans and coats), khaki, cotton and more can all be fitted with leather patches that are made to fit well with their overall design and that can be permanently attached without harming the material they are attached to. Leather patches also look great on caps and hats of all kinds, giving consumers a way to proudly show off the groups they support or sports teams they favor. This is a great alternative to buying branded apparel, as consumers can have their own apparel made to their specifications.
While leather patches are typically associated with a cool or rugged look, they have other uses as well. They will almost always have a rugged look to them, though, and that can add some real character to clothing that seems simple, elegant or modern and that could benefit from a more grounded or personalized look.
Custom leather patches allow consumers to put their own spin on clothes that they purchase or that they have had sitting around for a while. This can breathe new life into otherwise simple clothes and transform them into something entirely different, in a way that is inexpensive.
It’s also a great way for companies to promote their brand, showing that they have some character and ruggedness to them and creating a persona to their brand.

4 Benefits of Using Woven Labels for Your Clothes
Woven labels are a growing trend among businesses, as they want something to help make their brand stand out and yet look professional. They want to advertise without being gaudy and flashy, and woven labels allow them to do that. We are going to look at some of the advantages to using woven labels in your company’s clothes and give you some reasons to adopt this trend for your own.
Woven Labels Allow You to Personalize
If you want to make your clothes or your company’s clothes into something special, all it takes is the addition of an attractive, professional-looking label. You can use that label to showcase your brand, to show off your style and to make a great impression.
You can order woven labels that are personalized for each member of your staff or for different positions within the company. So, the management can get different labels from what the regular employees receive. This is a great way to use something small and innocuous to demonstrate different roles within your company.
You can also use woven labels to turn company clothing into event clothing. Take your normal company clothes and add a label that details a special event you may be having, such as a company retreat, an important meeting or sporting event. You can use the same company outfits that you always have and just add this minor detail to make them appropriate for whatever you are doing.
Spread the Word
If your company makes clothes, then the best way to brand them is with a label. The label can fit right alongside the washing instructions label and promote your brand without being intrusive. Rather than attaching a label that can be easily taken off, you can fit the clothes with a woven label that fits right in with the clothing’s designs and color scheme. You’ll be showcasing your brand and getting the word out about it without being overly obvious with your advertising. By using a fine, professionally made woven label on the clothes, the customer will appreciate your brand more and recognize the value it adds to their clothing.
Bring Your Team Together
You may have a diverse team with different goals and talents, but you want them to work together. By including prestigious-looking labels on their clothes, you can make them stand out and be distinguished, but at the same time, you can also bring them together. By homogenizing their uniforms through the use of woven labels, you can give all your team members the same motif or style. They may be wearing different clothes and have different styles, but you will be able to unite them using high-quality labels and a similar design aesthetic.
Create Unity in Your Brand
You may have employees that wear very different uniforms and carry out very different tasks, and you can consolidate your brand and show customers that your people are all part of the same group by using woven labels. These are small identifying markers that bring unity to an otherwise disparate group.
The same holds true for your products. If you manufacture clothing, then you want your brand to be recognizable no matter whether you are selling a hat or a pair of pants. You can bring your entire line together using woven labels and emblazoning those labels with your brand.
There are many uses for woven clothing labels, and many advantages to using professional, quality ones that add value to the product or promote your company. You can do a lot with a very small label, but you’ll need an accomplished and experienced company to provide those for you, to ensure that you send the right message and create results that you are happy with.

How Custom Clothing Labels Boost Your Company’s Visibility
Having your company clothes fitted with custom labels may seem like an unnecessary expense, but you might not be thinking about the long-term financial benefits that this small change can make. We are going to look at a few of the ways adding custom labels for your apparel improve the visibility of any company and make a case for why you should fit all your company clothes with them.
Brand Recognition
What company doesn’t want the kind of brand that every household knows? That’s powerful visibility there, and anytime people see your logo after it has become highly visible, they think of your company and the kind of experiences they have had with you. The logo is a way for you to associate your business with something that is recognizable. People may not even remember your company name, but they will remember a well-designed logo. Every time your employees provide a customer with service, the customers can see your branded logo on the employee’s clothes. Whether the label is placed on to a hat, apron, jacket or shirt, it connects your brand with the customer service that is being provided.
The more often people see your logo, the more they associate your company with certain services. That way, even if all they see is the logo, they are thinking about what you do, and in their mind, your company is linked to services they may need.
Getting the Word Out
The more people see your logo, the more they are hearing your company’s name in their head or the more they are thinking about your company and what it has to offer. Brand inundation is a great way to let people know what you are offering and where they can get it. You can become a person’s top choice for any kind of service just by promoting your brand through clothing labels.
Let’s say that you offer a delivery service. You may have your delivery vehicles branded, but the customer may never see those vehicles, especially if you deliver to office buildings and various interiors. The customer won’t always receive the delivery at the front door, in view of your vehicle. They will notice the company logo and branding on the employee’s clothing, though, and that allows them to associate you positively with the brand if they have a good experience. On top of that, it promotes your company, and everyone who witnesses the delivery can see the clothing label as well. Without saying a word, your delivery person is promoting your company, and this is kind of like free advertising for your business.
A Professional Look
If your employees are fitted with nice looking uniforms and professional looking clothing labels, then they can stand out from other service personnel. A well-made clothing label gives your employees an air of professionalism. People understand that even small things like that cost money and they are inclined to associate professional branding like that with a company behaves professionally and cares about its reputation. When consumers see you proudly displaying your company logo on employee uniforms, they know that you stand behind your employees, products, and services and that you care about customer opinions.
You might be surprised at how perceptions can change over something as small and seemingly insignificant as a clothing label. Of course, if the label is poorly made and not attached to the clothing very well, then that can leave a bad impression, and you should ensure that you are using a high-quality clothing label manufacturer to put your company’s logo onto clothing. Having increased visibility is only a good thing for your company if you have the quality services and products to back up it up. For those businesses that are taking care of their customers and providing excellent services, though, the increased visibility from professional clothing labels can be a huge benefit.
