Regarding 'Community'.... (insert frowny face here)
Okay, i know i'm gonna get a lot of shit from all of the 4 people who manage to read this post but......... I think Community is overrated. 
Whoops.
Okay I've said it and I can't un-say so let me explain.I'll start by saying the show is good, so don't get me wrong.  The zingy dialogue and pop cultures references alone are enough to keep me mildly interested.  That being said...
These FUCKING nerds orgasm over this goddamn show.
Jesus christ, I thought the internet was going to explode when the show went on a mid-season hiatus.  Fine, whatever, let the nerds have their fun, if it keeps them from bitching all the time about bad-quality TV i'm happy.
What pisses me off is this show relies on parodies and satires.  This is why all the nerds love it so much.  That AND some of the time-travel and alternate dimension shit they pull. Anyway, parodies and satires ARE EASY. Especially when you just flat-out dress your characters up into look alike costumes of pop culture icons and give them some mediocre-at-best jokes,  which the show has done literally three times. The stab at documentaries here, the misplace joke about melodrama there and you have 'Community' in a nutshell.
None of the characters stand well enough on their own or aren't interesting enough past season 1 so they writes just always dress them and give them jokes about relevent-to-our-culture topics.
Basically, the show is one more "lets point out the quirks about this.." joke away from feeling like a less-politcal SNL digital short...and the nerds need to calm down a bit.

This film is based off the novel by the same name from Jack Kerouac, considered to be one of the greatest pieces of american literature. I'm very excited to see if they movie pulls off the ambitious story.  They assembled an interesting cast to say the least.
