Going to try something new here, after playing more Sparkling ZERO lately, basically using polls to decide (Future Trunks') choices with drabbles, in between memes/RP posts (if any).

I just need to decide where to start, maybe right before FT leaves to return to his timeline, with the knowledge that the Namkian Dragon Balls are a thing, let's start with a poll test while I get things set up!

dragonwished​ // Carving Their Way [Xeno Trunks & Jasmine] - Part 3

Well, she couldn’t say he didn’t have a point there.

The battle continued with Jasmine’s attention returning to the soldiers she’d been fighting before, and soon blows were exchanged among them. Though a blast from one of Frieza’s minions managed to hit it’s target, leaving a gash in her stomach, she continued to fight as if she hadn’t even noticed the wound. In truth, she had all too well… but there would be time to handle it after dealing with this mission. It wasn’t the first fight she had to participate in that had her wounded.

Only once the soldiers had been defeated would her attention turn to the sky. Was that… a purple lizard-man staring back at them? This was the first time she had a face to match to the name. If nothing else, the name was all too fitting; those eyes were devoid of even the slightest warmth. Taking a deep breath, she properly returned to her stance.

“So, that guy is Frieza…” she commented towards Trunks, but this time, kept her eyes glued to the figure above the two time patrollers. She spoke again, but this time, it was a retort at the emperor. “Sorry, you’re a little late to recruit me! I’m gonna have to decline.”

With that, ki generated in her hand. As quickly as she spoke, the blast was fired up towards the fearsome emperor looming over them. Even if it missed, it would hopefully provide a distraction for one of them to gain the upper hand. Something told her they may need it.

As they continued fighting the Frieza Solders, Xeno Trunks was worried at the wound Jasmine received, but at least it was a minor one. They didn’t have the luxury to patch such a wound anyway, with the big boss before them now. “Yeah, that’s him. He’s much stronger than he appears, so we need to finish him before he uses his full power,” Trunks explained. This was good training for Jasmine in a sense, but what if this Frieza was stronger than him at full power? It was best not to risk it.

“I see, how unfortunate. So I suppose you are here to stop me? Then you are better off dead at my feet along with my men!” Frieza declared before Jasmine shot a blast at him, and deflected it away to show how futile it was. However, it was just the opening Xeno Trunks needed.

“It’s over!” Hiding his power level briefly while he snuck behind Frieza, Xeno Trunks suddenly transformed into a Super Saiyan and then cut Frieza in half with his sword, before blasting him into pieces mercilessly.

“Sorry about that, but I didn’t want to take the risk, even with our patrol here,” Trunks apologised as he reverted back to his base form just as quickly. But at least their mission here on this alternate Namek was over, they could return back to base without any worries now.

tragedyworlds​ // Guilt of a Sinner [Xeno Trunks & Jasmine] - Part 2

“…Don’t say things like that.”

Her gaze had fallen away by now, waiting to ensure the ‘other one’ was able to defeat that so-called ‘deity’. The answer she gave was a bit unexpected, even for Jasmine herself. She never really thought any of the sort, but maybe she shouldn’t be shocked either. The red-eyed ‘Future Warrior’ never said much about her own world, never mentioned there was truly no hope for things to get better.

No, she was never forced into this.

“I understand how Shenron’s wishes work now. Had I really not wanted to, he wouldn’t have brought me here.” she said, “Besides, here I can actually do something to keep people safe. I’d say that’s a fair trade-off, no matter what.”

Hopefully, he would never need to know of the mess he’d wished her out of. He didn’t know much about her past, she was sure, but Jasmine knew of his plenty. If there was anything she’d hoped he wouldn’t find out, it’s that her origins were just as buried in pain and loss and everything in-between. Even if she were to go back, there was nothing left to return to. She had a feeling it would only make him feel worse. Finally, her attention returned to Trunks.

“So, I’d say you’re not doing as okay as you say.” she continues, “Good thing I’m not going anywhere. This ‘mess’ may not be mine, but that’s never stopped me before.”

“Sorry, it’s just been one mess after another so,” Xeno Trunks apologised then tried to explain. It was hard, he supposed blaming himself was just what he could make most sense off, like the butterfly effect he caused by using the time machine to travel to the past.

“I see, the wish will only be granted upon those who are willing,” But she was right, Goku despite being wished back after Namek, refused the wish and stayed on Yardrat. By that definition, Jasmine was never forced into any of this like he thought. With that logic against his own doubts, he had to cheer up some with a grateful smile.

“Thanks, Jasmine. I suppose you were also wished here to keep me in line,” Trunks admitted. With coming from a dismal future and cause multiple branch timelines from his own actions, it was easy to just blame himself for things that went wrong. He was not meant to take on this burden alone either, so he was reminded to lean on his allies for support like he did now.
