回 = patching a wound .
send one for my muse’s reaction to your muse —
as the young man looked down at the other’s leg he began to feel ever so slightly nauseous, “ ok you do realize that you’re the mystic and i’m just a mage right ? “ perhaps that moment was not the perfect time for stating that point, when the other was so drained of mana, and absolutely exhausted from the wound she had acquired. he began to look through his inventory, there had to be something in there that could be of use, but sadly, he had left most of his items at his storage considering they were going off on one of their usual adventures. what he did find, however, was alcohol and some cloth.
right as it appeared before them, the young man took a sip from the bottle, then poured some on her leg before offering it to lily, “ you’re going to need this. “ not long after he wrapped the cloth tightly around the wound, lifting her up. “ we’ve got this, stay with me ok… “ and with that the young man continued to carry her towards waffles.

“ that’s my name, ” she grumbled. well, it’s her username – her real name isn’t common knowledge. no need to get close enough to most for them to know that and cerberus was definitely not on that list. hate wouldn’t be the right word for what she thinks about him but rather it’s loathe. and if she were honest, starlight doesn’t even have a good reason for it. it’s just because of circumstances. that’s all. she completely ignored his first question, only going for the latter ones. “ sturdier. ”
the young man could not restrain a smile at her grumbling, “ well look who’s particularly icy today. “ without further ado he conjured one of the more sturdier types of arrows from his inventory. “ alright, so, these are made of wood collected from floor 49. very durable, embroidered with bits of gold to give it a better spin due to the weight distribution. the tip itself is made of one of the hardest metals we have here in velia -- making it a top notch weapon for a top notch archer. “

“I don’t need the sales pitch,” Dadalus said, quickly cutting across the other man’s speech. “You’re not going to make me a special deal. You see what I’m wearing. You know I’m going to buy no matter what you say, you’re going to hike the price and call it a steal. I know how this works. Just…” He gestured vaguely at the materials Cerberus was selling. “Warmth. Yeah. Warmth.” It wasn’t the smartest choice, and he seemed to realize it the moment he said it–it wasn’t warmth he needed; he was just shivering from the water, but that wouldn’t last. “You said you got speed?” For the first time, he looked genuinely interested and he moved closer. “How does that work?”
being called a thief was definitely not something that cerberus enjoyed, he had had many different occupations in his life time but earning coin had always been a perfectly legal approach in every single one of them. and so, he could not help the smile upon his lips from faltering, “ look I meant that genuinly, but if you want me to actually up the prices I’d be more than happy to do that for you. “ a specific edge in his tone shone out in that statement as he felt ever so slightly salty at the assumption the other made about him. the young man picked out the two pair of boots from his inventory setting them down before the other. “ here’s the warmth one, and these are the speed enhancing ones. basically, you know how you have different statistics for abilities in the game? and you know how specific items are tailored to enhancing some of these abilities by a specific percentage. well the movement speed enhancing boots do so by a total of 15% percent. allowing you to run faster between locations than you would do without out them, thus if you level up the skill and use this item you get extra value so to speak. “

♒ = lying to them
send one for my muse’s reaction to your muse —
oddly enough honesty is a value that has always held high importance to cerberus, perhaps that was what helped him build a reputation as a merchant. he never lied about his wares, nor about his fear of responsibility, or his reason to want to stay in velia. and so he could not appreciate it when other people did so. he had been lied to too much in his life in an attempt from his parents to control him, to force him into line – it was simply a terrible life style in his eyes. and so, when he asked hades what he might need a particular item he was selling him for, and the other lied it felt like a pang in his heart.
shaking his head ever so slightly at the other he found himself handing over the special item over regardless. “ look all you needed to say was you don’t want to share that information. “ he paused momentarily, dark hues finding the other’s within an instant. “ don’t lie to me, hades. it doesn’t suit you. “ the disappointment which ran through the tone of his voice was clear, as the young man looked back down to continue sorting his ware.

Δ = playing with their hair . (DameBlu)
send one for my muse’s reaction to your muse —
surprise overcame cerberus, their general flirtations were restricted to word of mouth, and yet there she was, running her fingers through his hair. playing with the dark locks, almost as though they were just two normal people sharing a simple moment of affection. but, they were far from normal, and so was this. but, cerberus was not one to fight it, instead he appreciated it by leaning his head ever so slightly into her hand. closing his eyes momentarily.
it felt like such a long time since he had been touched so gently, and from dame out of all people? again, he appreciated it dearly. for once he felt normal, like this was normal, like they were normal. and there was nothing more special than such a moment to him. “ that feels nice…” he mumbled comfortably.

“Hey, come on, I know you can read that sign,” Siren whined at the player coming into her cafe wearing their guild gear. “’Please do not wear guild paraphernalia within the cafe’. It ruins the harmonious atmosphere I’ve got going here.” Her only exception to this rule was when an injured solo player came in looking for a healer, but they seemed fine to her.
the young man’s ears perked up as he heard his sister’s aggravated voice echoing through her cafe. within a few moments he was found lurking in on the conversation, rather entertained at the debacle which was ensuing before his eyes. “ oooooooooooo looks like someone didn’t read the rules... “ cerberus shuffled over once the conversation had come to an end, “ they really don’t like to read signs huh? “

Daedalus brushed the smaller fish off his jacket where they had stuck to him, but it wouldn’t take away the smell. The last thing he wanted was to eat more of the stuff, but there wasn’t much to be done for it. “You,” he said, spotting the salesman on the shore. “I need new boots. You got any?” His were so water-logged and broken down, he wasn’t sure how he’d even managed to walk back this far.
cerberus wouldn’t have guessed that someone was interested in his wares that quickly, but when a voice called out to him the young man took a moment to glance around to see where it came from. then dark orbs locked upon another man approaching him, “ oh hell yeah ! “ he glanced down at the other’s shoes, nose wrinkling upwards ever so slightly, “ yours look dire to say the least. you know what let’s make you a special deal. I’ve got some good ones in my inventory, which particular type are you looking for? speed enhancing, warmth, etc. ? “

she pulled off the hood of her yellow unity cloak and scanned the offered items. cerberus…as far as she knew, did have good, reliable things. as a woman who had spent much of her youth haggling at flea markets over old chipped china teacups, she recognized a decent vendor when she saw one. “mm—what’s your price?” call her suspicious, but anyone showing up between battles touting hot new merchandise was surely out there to make a profit, reputable or not. not that there was anything wrong with that, at the end of the day. she wasn’t here to wage a war against capitalism. too much time and effort, there were literally other fish to fry.
" that very much depends on what you are looking for. “ cerberus offered up his most charming smile before reaching for an amulet gathered on floor 33. “ I’d imagine this would suit you wonderfully. and it brings out those beautiful blue eyes of yours ! “ besides that it was also a rare item which allowed a warrior extra armor within the game setting. “ of course the more rare items are a little more pricey, but nevertheless a decent price. considering how they are acquired. “ he wasn’t a thief, he had never cared for scamming people out of their money, his reputation had been built on good ware for a good price. he knew that there would always be more out there to sell, and in the game there was never a lacking need for new items -- better items.

Diana was feeling drained after the battle. It was a long exhausting battle which drained her mana completely. At that moment she couldn’t even heal herself. Being a mystic she didn’t often carry health potions and she used all her mana potions. She limped her away over to the merchant. “What do you got?” She asked as she held her side.
cerberus had always been good at observing, it made his job a lot easier. and he noticed the other’s limp almost immediately -- of course he had healing orbs and health potions ready to sell, and he was there to make bank, but he was not a monster. and so he offered a soft smile before adding, “ I think I have something better for you. but you’re going to have to ditch that guild attire.” he knew how his sister felt about having guilds blatantly advertised in her cafe. “ I know a healer that can take care of that limp for you. “

Seeing a stranger setting up shop near the shoreline had definitely caught the archer’s interest. She knew floor 51 wasn’t hers, but she couldn’t help considering the place as her sort of… Domain. Finally deciding to approach, a bright grin found it’s way onto Artie’s features “….Yes. I need one thing from you.” She stated, the grin only growing larger as she spoke. “Can I please pet your wolf?” Olympia asked excitedly, her hand already reaching out towards the mount.
his expression remained entirely serious as he watched the young woman come closer. not breaking it as he said, “waffles...” and then suddenly his expression lit up with a smile, “ play time ! “ and the wolf immediately sprung forward, happily slipping through her legs, and sniffing at her extended hand. even going as far as licking it, before his joy became so overwhelming that he could not resist jumping up and attempting to lick her face. “ he loves pets. “ cerberus had been lucky to find a good natured mount, and he had been teaching him a couple of tricks in their down time.

She was pissed.
Not only had the big fish been a waste of time -not shocking considering who came up with the fucking moronic plan. Now, it looked like the game master thought it would be fun to fuck with them some more and now they would have to go down in the dungeon to fight who the fuck new. Killing noobs sounded like more fun, but a couple of monsters would work too… she supposed. Feed up for the day, Dame was about to make her way to the pub when she saw a familiar face. “What’s hot and new about Cerberus?” she scoffed crossing her arms as she came to stand in front of the man, “Whatcha got Mr. Miyagi?”
as the young woman approached him, cerberus could not help a smirk from lingering on his expression, a corner of his lips was drawn upwards as dark hues followed her movements. “ well other than the obvious, “ he meant himself, “ a lot of new wares. “ he paused momentarily before opening his inventory, “ though I have been saving one item for you, princess. “ my blacksmith forged this beautiful dagger which of course, should only be handled by someone just as beautiful if not more. “ it was made of a strong metal, embroidered with silver and specks of gold. a high level weapon, to be wielded only by the stronger players.

valuable information could come in many forms. pluto spent just as much time gathering info on battles as she did on the game’s various merchants and their wares. she visited the marketplace and impromptu markets often, collecting data on new merchandise, their stats, and average prices. the man and his wolf seemed promising - and maybe the word ‘new merchandise’ just piqued her interest. the game could be stagnant at times, and as much as stability and predictability were comforting, new information was always useful. she nodded politely as she approached, offered her hand for the wolf to sniff. “i’m not looking for anything in particular. would you mind telling me what new merchandise you have?” she asked.
cerberus’ attention was quickly averted to the young woman whom had extended her hand for waffles to sniff. he appreciated this gesture as wolves did not generally like to be confronted with strangers, and not many people took this precaution in the game. it conjured a smile to his lips before answering her question, “ resistance cloaks, night goggles, bracers, swords, ring of spell storing, gems to upgrade and merge your already existing items with... just to name a few. “ he paused momentarily before adding, “ along with the usual health potions, healing orbs, and a couple of rare items gathered from stage 33. though, I must warn you those are a little more expensive as they are harder to come by. though very useful depending on your class. what they generally do is increase your mana efficiency, critical damage etc. and are mostly in the form of jewelry. “
#ahaha its all good he wishes he were handing out waffles#that would be bombtastic in the game#pluto.

why did she even come over here? sure, cerberus might sometimes have some good items but she would rather eat a rotten fish than buy off of him. usually at the sight of him, she just walks the other direction – actually, that might just be players in general from the way she’s going. but she was lacking arrows and if she were to be in the battle, it would be much better to have too many than not enough. especially if close ranged attacks are… a mess. “ do you have any arrows or no? ” she doesn’t want to prolong this conversation. a yes or no, that’s all she wants. is this what desperation feels like?
“ starlight ! “ he exclaimed at the sight of the archer. somewhere deep down he knew that the other despised his existence, but his mind couldn’t quite work through that and so he was stuck in this haze where he believed that they could definitely be friends. “ it’s good to see you ! out of arrows already? “ the man mused before even thinking of answering her question. “ of course, what type do you need? just your average ones or a sturdier model? “
