☁When creating Toon Logic, were you inspired by Looney Tunes and Alice in Wonderland? ☁

Originally, I was just inspired by the movie "Who Framed Rodger Rabbit", as well as more Looney Tunes and Animaniacs.

That being said, at the time I did see a lot of toon AUs (And a lot of them were super cute) - but the AUs focused on just the Smiling Critters staying in their cartoon world.

I liked the idea of toons being dragged in to experience the horrors of the factory. It gives so much potential to show horror as well as comedy - not to mention it's an excuse to include some of my favorite elements whenever I work on stories.

The Alice in Wonderland references with Dulce actually didn't start right away. It just naturally was a title for him, being a Cheshire cat. Then again, I also love to joke that Dulce created himself, as well as writing himself too.

But basically, yes! I grew up with a lot of classic cartoons, and Looney Tunes holds a very special place in my heart.

It's about time I redraw this one.

Though this wasn't my first attempt at drawing Sam at this point, it was the first time I really wanted to have Cyrus interact. I had no idea how to properly draw any of the After Joy characters then, and I was so very nervous that I was being too much with my wife's characters. Needless to say - this drawing and Cake's response still holds a special place in my heart.

"...You were actually alive, weren't you? What's it like?"

After seeing @crazycakeparrotart 's lovely addition to the other post, I couldn't help myself! I had to draw the doggos interacting - though my DogDay might still be a little too big by comparison lol

This is a fun bit of Cyrus lore that has yet to get any real "screen time" on this blog, but something I've discussed with my wife quite a bit. Now, you guys know that Cyrus is a little goof ball, right?

Rumors of "The Bloodstained Hound" circle within the factory. Talks of a dog shaped beast attacking anyone who dares to look at it, not stopping until its body is soaked with its victim's blood.

That creature is a weapon of Playtime Co's creation.

Jorge saw that weapon and went "Nah. That's mine."

I want to understand something. On the stream, Jorge looked at a large dog with a yellow bandage on his stomach. Is this the Halloween version of Cyrus? :<

Me and my waifu @ccycloneblogging have been messing around whiteboard, and a really cute sketch of Dulce, Sasha and Taffy came out with the alice in wonderland theme, so we decided to actually color it! This was fun to plan the actual sketch in whiteboard and finish it in our drawing programs xD the whiteboard sketch is under the cut, and the "gay af" was a contribution of @toastiemations-00 ... One year ago today, I decided "Why don't I make a quick Who Framed Rodger Rabbit reference?"

I had no ideas for any real type of AU - no plans at all for anything other than that one joke. Now, one year later and I've essentially have a whole extended AU with wonderful friends and an amazing Waifu that I wouldn't have gotten if it wasn't for these little critters.

I know I'm not as active here and slow to respond, but thank you everyone. Let's see what happens next, shall we?
