Kairosoft

Kairosoft is a video game development company headquartered in Tokyo Japan. In addition, the company is best known for developing many different simulation games for PCs and mobile phones. The company’s history goes back to 1996 when it was founded as a dojin games (video games developed by Japanese hobbyists). Kairosoft is now placed in the Nishi-Shinjaku area of Tokyo. According to some reports, the company had only employed 9 people. Moreover, the company started oud creating simulation games for Microsoft Windows. The first was officially published back in 1996 and simulated a bookstore. Also, another example was the new Game Dev Story game that was officially published in 1997. In addition, Gave Dev Story got its sequel that was published in 2001. When 2001 rolled by, the company changed their focus to creating mobile simulation games for the cell phone market in Japan.

As a matter of fact, the market of cell phones in Japan was way more developed than the America’s market. Back in 2007, Kairosoft was incorporated and on November 4, 2008 they officially launched a new website. Back in 2010, when the company published Game Dev Story for Android and iOS, found itself a big hit. In fact, the game reached the top 10 in iOS app sales just in the first week when it was released. In addition, the company continued porting their previous developed games for different platforms.

Grand Prix Story

One of the more popular games developed by Kairosoft is without a doubt, Grand Prix Story. This game is a simulation racing management game that’s entirely developed by Kairosoft. In addition to developing, Kairosoft also published the game for the iOS and Android operating systems. Grand Prix Story was officially released in North America in April, 2012.

As we said before, this game is a management video game where players take control of a new racing team. Moreover, each player progress their team via races that earns them coins and unlocks bigger and harder grand prix eventers and single race stages.

According to some reports, the company’s employees are now working on publishing a port of World Cruise Story for the Windows 10.

Kiloo

Kiloo is a game developer company headquartered in Aarhus, Denmark. The history of the company goes back to 2000 when it was established by Jacob Moller. The goal of the company was on creating entertainment content for handheld devices and game consoles. Back in 2008, Jacob Moller was joined by Simon Moller, his brother. Moreover, they both run the company. The company’s most popular game is Subway Surfer and was officially published back in 2012. Subway Surfers was co-developed with SYBO Games. After a few weeks of the release, Subway Surfers was officially named Game of the week back on 31 May 2012. In September, the same year, Subway Surfers was officially developed and published for Android. As a result, the game attracted even more players.

According to some reports, just one month after it was published on Android, the game made it into the top 20 rising apps on Facebook by active users on monthly basis. As a matter of fact, back in July 2014, Subway Surfers hit 500 million downloads on all platforms. Just a year later, the game was downloaded more than 1 billion times across all platforms.

Subway Surfers

For all those who don’t know, this game is an endless runner phone video game that’s co-created by SYBO Games and Kiloo. Moreover, Subway Surfers is available on Windows Phone, Kindle, iOS and Android platforms. In addition, the game uses the Unity game engine. Each player takes the role of fresh graffiti artists who after being caught in the action of drawing graffiti to a railway station, run down the tracks in order to escape from the inspector.

Gameplay

As we’ve mentioned before, this game is an endless runner mobile game. Each game starts by touching the screen, while your character applies graffiti on a train. The supervisor and his dog start chasing your character. Moreover, while you ran, your character can swipe down, left or right and up in order to avoid crashing into the blocks while on the run. Obstacles include barriers, tunnel walls, poles and moving trains. In addition, by swiping rapidly as the speed rises, more points can be obtained.

The latest releasement by the company was the game Tesla Tubes back in March 2016, which is available to both iOS and Android platforms.

KOG Games

KOG Games is a video game publisher company located in California, United State. Moreover, the company specializes in publishing online free to play games. In addition, currently the company publishes the 2.5D side scrolling action-oriented game, Elsword, which is an MMORPG. KOG Games is a division of the well-known game development company, KOG. This section was established back in 2000 as a joint venture between the international game releaser LevelUP and the game development company KOG. The main goal of the division when it was established it was to bring the games of KOG to the United States. The first game from the studio took place on April 27, 2007 and it was an open beta test. The game was Elsword. Moreover, the company in 2012 bought LevelUP’s interest in the company in order to become the only owner.

KOG officially changed their name to KOG Games Inc. back in August 2012. In addition, the company also sells the virtual currency named K-Ching and can be used to buy simulated properties in their games.

Games Developed

Since the company was established, they’ve managed to publish some memorable games including Ultimate Race, HeroWarz, Grand Chase and Aima Online.

Elsword

Elsword is one of the more popular games they’ve published. For those who don’t know, this game is a 2.5 dimensional action-oriented video game that’s entirely developed by KOG Studios. In addition, the game was officially published to North America on March 23, 2011 by their division, KOG Games. However, Elsword was officially released in Korea back on December 27, 2007. The game carries an option of real-time action and involves both player vs. player and player vs. environment game modes. In Elsword there are 13 characters that players can choose. Each one of the characters carries unique abilities and different backstories. As we’ve mentioned before, this game is a free to play game, however, certain items and some skins can be bought within the game via “Item Mall” by using a real currency. In addition, Elsword was originally developed with the plan to be a successor to Grand Chase by raising the graphics of the game from 2D to 2.5D.

SCHOOL OF DRAGONS UPDATE IS OUT!!

I LOVE THE ICON FOR THE GAME!!! <3 <3 ^^^^

Also… Here we have Grimmel. AND DEATH GRIPPERS!!! So you can train a Death Gripper if you complete the new expansion. (Which I am currently saving up gems for) And Grimmel is gonna be attacking the training grounds so we get to fight ‘battle events’ against him, instead of the previous villains like Alvin and Dagur. :DD

Next, I need to talk about the Light Fury. SHE IS GORGEOUS! Her animation, design, details, movements are better than Toothless’.

The only sad thing is that she’s only for members. I would have loved to save up and hatch her, name her, train her. But oh well. I see her around a lot with other players and get to admire her beauty <3
