If accurate, these CW viewer numbers are 10 times more than the average I saw on last year’s YouTube broadcasts. Is important for the golf demo to be able to turn on their cable box, interesting.

LIV GOLF
The Saudi sports washing golf league, LIV GOLF, successfully canceled one viewer for the 2023 season. I like golf, last year enjoyed the product on YouTube, smart of them to put on the best video distributor. With replays available and the ability to rewind and scrub through broadcasts watched some of every 2022 season round. With the 2023 season kicking off this week, I was ready at 11 local MST with the CW app (only way to view on Friday) and LIV Golf Plus app. Seeing the premiere group of Cam, Dustin, and Abraham tee off was OK. Their app is for the international stream; useless other than that, not even a leaderboard. The work day interrupted, and a few hours later went back with no ability to rewind or scrub was just a live feed, did not see much. Went to see what the "network" broadcast would be like but as a YouTubeTV subscriber, the CW channel isn't available in area, presumably, don't have a local CW affiliate. LIV has potential with all competitors on course at once, some of the best players in the world, and a decent broadcast to be a good product. I'm thankful for them taking the broadcast to a distributor I won't watch. The competition has been the impetus for the PGA Tour to enhance its product and look forward to watching the PGA Tour.

Friend
Rex said it best in the clip below “if any of you are lucky enough to get a friend like that, you are god damned lucky”.
If you ask my Pop, Bill Armor, what his greatest asset is his answer is his associations, but this is not the case, we are the ones who are lucky to call him a friend. Always being good to others and exuding an infectious, positive attitude has made being friends with Pop a pleasure so many have the good fortune to be.
Starting with Gram, Joyce Armor, whom he married in 1951 he has cultivated lifelong partnerships. They are the model of supportive, soul mates and a true love story we can all be inspired by.
From an early age Pop attracted positive people. Another lifelong relationship was with one of his earliest business associates, Paul Meyer. They matched work ethics and positive attitudes. One of Meyer’s successful motivational sayings was “attitude is everything” so you can see him being attracted by Pop’s positivity. Throughout their diverse lives they stayed close, no coincidence Pop stays close to all his friends, he makes it a priority.
Having great friends comes from Pop’s character. I remember one of his dinner party’s in Casper when a friend, Dallas Laird, made a toast. He said that “if he had the character in the tip of Armor’s pinky finger he would be a true gentleman”. This is a fact, Pop’s character makes him someone to associate with and a genuine friend.
There are countless lessons I have garnered thanks to Pop’s willingness to share his insights and his constant caring. From when I walked pigeon toed so he said “hey lets walk these straight lines”, to “I don’t care if you slow it up” while teaching me to hit a golf ball flush, to “have equities not debts”, and “make relationships a priority”.
Pop, thanks for being my friend.

Single worst implementation of technology I use day to day.
Wouldn't it be nice if, after I swipe my card, it would know - yes, I have an awards number and no I don't want a receipt. Not to mention the impossible to read screen and 3 second lag you must deal with to input your number and say no each time.
You'd think the oil companies would spend some of the billions in profits on technology. I would seek out a station if there was one with a better pump.
