Dear ‘Gamergurls’

Dont worry. You dont have to be really good at a game to be considered a gamer. You dont need to have validation to play.

You are allowed to play the game for whatever reason you like. Its like going to a bar. Sometimes you want to drink, and sometimes you want to get hit on. Some girls just want to play the game, while others want to socialize.

Please do not slut-shame these girls. Its not helping anyone. Who cares if they like to take pictures with their games, or barely even play them. Calling one an ‘attention whore’ opens the door for all girls to be called it. Its their life choices so let them be.

Girls: we all know discrimination. Its not as if all men are bullies, but its that all women have been bullied before. We KNOW how it feels and it is enivitable to be bullied in some way (not that it is acceptable) so how about we just not be bitchy to each other either!

Girls are allowed to do what they want with their body. If they want to showcase it within a certain community, let them be. Its a lesson to learn that if you just accept everyone, they can be more easily distinguished.

Plus, gamer girls are technically only considered hot or sexy because they are rare. Why are the rare? Because y’all are sexist. And I mean you all: girls and boys.

Kill two birds with one stone and just not call people out like that? Dont slut shame and don’t discriminate. Some gamers may be fake but we will always have those in society, there is no point to purposely hurt their feelings. No one likes to be insulted.
