Clemence Von Mueffling. Founder BWB.
-Where do you live?
New York!
-What do you love the most in New York?
The people: their enthusiasm and great energy. -Could you tell us about your new site Beauty and Well Being? How long did you work on this project? Could you tell us some exciting topics you are going to cover?
BWB was launched on May 1st 2014. I started to work in that project after the summer.
After many years working for iconic beauty brands I then became a beauty journalist, a very natural transition as both my mother and grandmother were beauty editors at the prestigious French Vogue.
My insight and intuition of emerging trends led me to want to start my own publication.
There so much information that saturate our screens that I wanted to create BWB to offer a carefully edited space.
Here you will find the makeup trends, the products that can make a difference, tips on subjects as varied as nutrition and exercise as well as recipes and book reviews.
This week we covered Beauty routine in your 20’s, 40’s and 60’s; a spotlight on the natural nail polish Kure Bazaar, a profile of Caudalie’s director Mathilde Thomas, research on the nefarious impact of soft drinks and parabens…. And that is just for starters!
-How could you describe St Barths in 3 words?
Fabulous colors everywhere!
fabulous french food!
Peaceful time with my books on the beach!
-Your next travel?
L.A and San Francisco to learn more on the new trends from the West Coast! Nutrition, natural skincare and make-up!

Stephanie Newhouse. Founder Industry For Change. New York. -Where do you live? I’m New Yorker, BABY!!!!! -What do you miss the most when you leave your home? I usually travel with my family whenever possible- I think my preschool aged daughter has been to Paris for fashion week more than some fashion editors. This may sound strange, but I usually start missing my shower when I’ve been away too long. The shower is where I do my best brainstorming and where I sing at the top of my lungs. It’s a ritual that isn’t easy to duplicate in a hotel. -What was your favorite work moment last year? What is your last obsession? What is your favorite designer to wear in NYC? and in St Barths? My favorite work moment last year was working in Paris with a designer I’ve dreamed of working with. I prefer to stay discreet about the name, but it’s definitely a fashion house everyone has heard of. I had this moment when I was in a workroom looking at the couture pieces that would be shown the next day, where I thought- it just doesn’t get much better than this. Seeing a group of people so invested in perfection and beauty in their art was inspiring. A once in a lifetime opportunity. My last and current obsession is decorating our loft. We’ve lived here forever, and it’s invigorating to shake things up a bit. My favorite designer to wear in NYC... Well, I love Valentino, Lorry Newhouse (of course!) Old Rodarte stuff, and since it’s so cold I’m obsessed with Uniqlo right now. I’m a huge fan of mixing designer and fun, inexpensive pieces. For St Barths, I like Calypso St Barths especially their cute home stuff & for little casual boho pieces. -What is your next exciting projects for 2014? I currently working on a book, but I’m keeping it hush hush to keep the pressure off. It’s not easy!!! -Your next travel? We are planning travel to Paris, London, St Barths, Vancouver, and New Orleans. Packing will be interesting... Photo credit: Madison McGaw/BFAnyc.com

ERIC BOUDON is the lucky manager of the restaurant Bagatelle in Saint Barths.
-Where do you live ?
I live on the island, Anse des Flamands.
-What do you miss the most when you leave Saint Barths ?
I think it's the calm of the Saint Barths, and even if i love to travel, it's here I feel the most relaxed.
-What's the "it meal" at Bagatelle? Which one is your favorite?
The "Coquillette à la Truffe" and the "Poulet Truffé" are very famous, people really like it, and come back just for those meals!
My favorite one is the " Gambas flambé au Pastis" : for me it's definitly the best!
-What's your favorite moment at Bagatelle?
I really like the beginning of the evening. From 7 to 9 pm the restaurant is quiet, the atmosphere is cosy and romantic, and people are dining and enjoying the harbor view. Lounge music, family or friends : a perfect mix to appreciate a gourmet cuisine!
At this time nobody knows if it's going to be a calm or a crazy night...
-Your next travel?
I'm going in Indonesia every year, I'm starting to miss it, so I think it will be the next one.
