i feel like the youth should be reminded that the point of shipping is not for a ship to become canon. the point of shipping is to collect all the canon crumbs like starved mice, run away cackling and make some fun little scenarios with them just for the hell of it.

Scrolling through my own Tumblr feels like flipping through different versions of myself. The phases, the obsessions, the quiet shifts in the things I post, the things I no longer feel the need to say. It’s strange, how a person can morph so much without realizing it how the things we once resonated with can feel like echoes of someone we barely remember being and yet there’s something beautiful about that. About witnessing not just our own evolution, but each other’s. How we document our transitions without meaning to even on places like this.

I explained the concept of "blorbo from my shows" to my 71 year old immigrant grandfather because I referenced it in passing and I thought nothing of it, until today when he said "I think I'll watch peaky blinders tonight and see my blorbo from my shows" referring, of course, to Cillian Murphy playing Tommy Shelby
