Scarlet was able to move herself up while Karno places his hand on her forehead. “I change my mind.” She states and gains a confused look from the group. “We leave “ she moves her hand as though she is sending a message “now.” She is finally able to get it together, get her legs, and changes outfits alongwith the others as she walks out Karno quickly following trying to talk her out of it.

Outside there is a sound of large wings. Hue checks the window “Is that…a dragon?”

The gods appear in front of Luna. “What’s wrong?!” Hue looks at her with concern. Krioff folds his arms “This better be important” He looks over her shoulders and he eye widen “What the?!”

Everyone look from him into Luna’s room. There Scarlet was laying on her back staring at them with slit pupil eyes and a vibrant red to black snake tail. It was pretty long.

“Will y’all quit staring it’s irritating” The end of her tail flickers slightly to show. Karno walks over quickly with the others following.

Giving a slight laugh Scarlet “Y’all will look presentable. But maybe later in the trip.” She begins to feel extremely tired out “Ya know this is the second day that I’ve become this tired for no reason. I would like to go to bed but according Karno I turned into my snake from and kept wrapping my tail around him.” She stands to only sit on the ground “Apparently I changed back before I woke up. When he asked I told him I had no purpose of doing so.” She stares into nothing then lays on the floor “…I’m hot”

Karno gets up to stop Scarlets pacing by grabbing her shoulders “You’re worrying too much.” He takes the letter from her hand leads them back to the couch. “She said we can come with you, there’s a festival, and there are people who miss you.” Scarlet leans on him with a sigh “Alright if y’all are willing.” Teorus and Ichthys sit in front of her confused “Scarlet where are you from?” Scarlet makes an image of her home world “Idalar.” The world was a nature based place fill with very clear magic, creatures, with multiple different things about it and villages. “We typically stay on the ground castle to help villagers but up here is where we live.” She points to a castle surrounded by clouds.

Sighing Scarlet shakes her head “The note is from my mother. Though there aren’t many things on here that irritate me…some I still don’t like.” Teorus walks over and pokes around her to see “Like?”. She beings to read:

“My dear daughter, as I know that you may not want to read and it annoys me to write the prince still can’t catch a hint even though you are clearly married. He still wants to prove himself worth of you affection.”

Karno and the others turn to look at in slightly confusion as Scarlet continues:

“As you are a goddess Scarlet the festival of the lights are coming up. You’re friends and two in particular twin little girls miss you dearly and would love to see you again. Of course you are also aware of the date up ahead and you have a terrible habit of ignoring a place if it gives a bad memory. If it would make you feel comfortable bring your constellation and fate friends with you. More will be discussed if you choose to come. Signed your loving mother.”

“So to put it short.” She walks over to what is remaining of the wall and leans against “One hole was me testing a power I haven’t used in awhile. The other was me being annoyed.” She then floats in front of Zyglavis slightly above him “That’s why there are holes in the walls.”

Karno still looking at his paper hums “Hmm…everyone sit still for a moment.” Once the room got quiet the gods were confused as to the reason they had to be quiet. Suddenly a blast of light went through the living room till the outside could be seen. Karno smiles amusingly “There’s my wife.” Scarlet was not in the building but at th front with one hand out. She flew through the hole she caused with a blank stare. “Scarlet there better be a reason as to why you just put a hole through the castle!” Zyglavis was clearly not happy at the situation.

He only gets a “Hmph.” in response. The little walked over and tugs on her skirt. Seeing the note, Scarlet reads it. She tilts her head in such a way that some wouldn’t be able to tell if she was confused or slightly irritated. Scarlet then gives the girl a pat on the head and a treat sending her on her way. Taking a look back at the note she raises her hand again sending a darker form of energy and makes another hole.

Ichthys snatches the note from Luna laughing “Let’s read it! Ow!” The little girl had stepped on his foot and took the note back staring blankly at him. This earned a laugh from Leon “I get the feeling she would rather that not happen.” Just then Karno enters the room while looking at some papers. “Karno where is Scarlet she has some mail.” He thinks for a moment “I believe she was outside but knowing her she is probably doing something else where.” Karno sits on the couch and noticing the girl “I assume she brought the note?”

(Continuation of the Baby News story)

It was a nice day in Idalar, home to Aria or Scarlet when translated. She was giving instructions as to where the dresser of the nursery should go. “Come on Ari! How much longer?” Her childhood friend ,Hirato, complained. Scarlet places her hands on her hips, “Could you just call me Scarlet? It’ll get confusing calling me two names at once. There will be fine.” Letting out a sigh he places it down then lays on the floor with a hefty sigh. “It’s not that bad.” Scarlet sits on the bed looking down at him to which he replies, “You try it!” Scarlet rolls her eyes scoffing, “I would but,” she places a hand on her baby bump, “Karno doesn’t want me doing anything strenuous to hurt me or the baby. It’s honestly thanks to the others, mainly Leon, Zyglavis, and Scorpio, to convince him that I would be fine.” Hirato sits up laughing, “Convincing?! What is he watching you like a hawk?” She shrugs, “I guess he’s just really concerned?” She stands and heads out, “But whatever the reason he’s happy for the most part and so am I. I should head back to him though. Thanks for the help.” Hirato smiles, “Who would have thought. Scarlet, having a kid.” Scarlet laughed, “Telling you now it certainly wouldn’t have been me!” She vanishes back to the heavens where her husband waits.

She appears in the living room and is surprised to see Teorus and Ichthys running up to her. They were asking many questions at once and it was making her dizzy. Scarlet wasn’t realizing that she was leaning backwards a bit. Luckily Leon and Scorpio saw, reeling the guys back and sitting her down. “Do you two want to die? If she actually fell Karno would be out for your blood.” Scorpio scolds. Leon kneels in front of Scarlet, “Do you feel alright?” She nods looking blankly, “But I kinda want cookies. And tea. And also a red velvet cake…where am I?” Leon and the others stare in shock so he repeated his question. Her expression is similar to Aigonorus’s normal one, “I’m…tired.” That being said she falls asleep sitting up. Tauxolouve walks in on the scene and upon seeing the sleeping goddess he asked what happened. “Poor little lady, you two didn’t even give her time to get settled in. Should I take her to the soft room? She looks pretty relaxed.” Leon nodded as Scarlet was picked up and carried out. The soft room was completely made for Scarlet during one of her moody episodes that the even the King himself was afraid of and didn’t want to deal with. The room was full of soft and fluffy pillows, blankets, stuffed animals, and anything of the kind. Scarlet doesn’t like the heat that much so the temperature was cool enough where she could be comfortable. Lou lays her on the bed places one of the stuffed animals in her arms, covers her in a blanket, cracks the windows for a light breeze to come through then closes the door behind him.

Karno was done with his work and as he walked through the hall he was stopped by Leon who handed him a piece of paper. “What’s this?” Karno looks over it as Leo explains, “Scarlet came back and started talking about what she wanted before she fell asleep on the couch. Tauxolouve took her to the soft room.” Karno chuckles at the list with a nod saying his thanks heading that way. Opening the door to the room he gets a big smile on his face seeing the innocent expression on Scarlet’s face as she slept. Karno was grateful that she wasn’t hostile towards him. Her mother explained that it’s very likely for her to dislike everyone around her but becomes needier to him. With that in mind Karno wake Scarlet up by stroking her hair. She blinks a few times and rubs her eyes to fully wake up. “I’m sorry to wake you dear but Leon told me that before you fell asleep you were hungry?” He handed her the list and her eyes lit up. Nodding vigorously Karno snaps food in front of her as Scarlet clapped delightedly then hugged him tight, “Thank you!” While eating, Scarlet felt his gaze on her and blushed a bit covering her mouth, “It’s rude to stare ya know.” Smiling he looks away out the window. A breeze came through and Scarlet glance at her god. For some reason, his appearance struck her harder than normal as she looked from him to her stomach beginning to cry.

Karno heard her sniffling and rushed to her side, “What’s wrong?” He placed his hands on her cheeks to wipe tears away. “I-I’m sorry. I just…we’re gonna have a child soon! I’m still not used to the concept sometimes. I have a really hard time sleeping cause…” Karno sits next to her on the bed wrapping a comforting arm around her pulling her close to him, “You’re afraid of not being a good mother?” Scarlet clings to him nodding then looks up at him, “Then I looked at you and felt happy again because I’ll be with you and the others. I know I’ve been a lot in the months leading up to her birth ,but thanks for putting up with it.” Karno gives her a warm smile, “It’s not putting with it. It’s making sure that the both of you are happy and safe.” Right after he said this a light figure appears, who they both know, in front of them. “Hello dear.” The little figure giggles, flying around being happy go lucky as ever. She hops to them, “Can’t wait. See you. Bye.” With that she hops in front of the door and disappears as some of the others god walk in. Karno looks to Scarlet, “She really happy that’s good to see.” She stares at her stomach placing her hand on it, “Not to alarm anyone ,but what that meant was that she’s coming.” Karno’s eyes widen, “…What?” Smiling but fear in her eyes she repeats the important sentence, “Karno, the baby is coming.”

A unison “What?!” was yelled through out the room. Not wanting to put more panic into the atmosphere, Karno got everyone to calm down, opened a portal to Idalar and picked Scarlet up and everyone went through. Clarissa, Scarlet’s mother, was surprised by the opened portal and even more by the ones who walked through it. She looked from Karno to Scarlet immediately realizing what was going on, “Follow!” They all make there way to a large door and behind it was a pool of beautiful blue water with a large white lily, big enough for a person, in the center. As Scarlet was carried in the room started to glow. The helper fairies stopped the others from entering. Clarissa smiles, “I’m sorry, at this point only the three-“ Leon and Zyglavis nod already knew what she was gonna say, “We’ll wait outside. It’s fine.” The door closes leaving Scarlet, Karno and Clarissa. Karno looks around, “What is this?” Vines come down and remove Scarlet from his arms and she held on to him. The vines weren’t forcing it they just moved around waiting. Clarissa explains, “We don’t have children like a human or goddess would. They are place there and are turned into light, or in her case light and chaos, and to separate them. We explain this to children at a young age but she…” Karno sits on the ground with Scarlet in his lap. He takes her face in his hands to get her to look up, “Scarlet, listen carefully. I will be right here with you. Your mother will be. The guys are right outside. I know this is a scary moment but the outcome will be worth it all. Our daughter seemed so happy that she would get to meet us for real. Don’t keep her waiting.” Scarlet had tears fall but it wasn’t of sadness or fear. It was from those words that made her smile, “You know just what to say don’t you?” Karno chuckles as they softly kiss before she is moved to the flowerbed. The flower closes and the process begins.

Karno stays seated watching with wonder as the flower, that now holds those precious to him, as the it glows emitting light and chaos at the base. Clarissa sits next to Karno taking his hand. He could tell that despite her calm exterior she was nervous all throughout. “You know I don’t think I ever thanked you.” Clarissa stared straight ahead but he looked to her confused and she continued, “In the beginning, it seemed as though she would never love again and then she met all you. As a young child she would state over and over that she would never married. Yet she did. Above all else said she would never have a child but yet here my daughter is. I always hoped someone would show her a new light and a new meaning of love. Thank you.” Karno and Clarissa shared a hug as they watch the flower shine and flow with chaos and light. It’s white petals change to dusted pastel pink.

Less than an hour or so passed when the flower finally stopped glowing. The two stood and moved closer and the flower got closer to the edge. Karno moved his hand to the petal then stopped because he wasn’t sure if it was ok for him to do so. The vine moved his hand closer giving him the ok. Taking them down one by one revealing a sleeping Scarlet and in her arms a healthy sleeping baby girl. The vines help getting her out and Karno held them against him. Scarlet awakens looking at him with happy tears whispering, “She’s here and tiny!” He nods even he started tearing up, “Yeah she is. Have you thought of a name?” Scarlet looks from the child to the moonlight pouring into the room, “Kamaria. That’s her name.” Her mother moves closer, “Welcome to the world Kamaria. Your life will be filled with love.” She looks at the two then whispers, “I’m sure of it.” Standing and moving to the door Clarissa says, “Shall we show the rest their new member?” Karno picks Scarlet up with the child as the door open to the other awaiting gods and Kamaria‘s new life.

Chapter 3

As the three continued to chat, talking is heard on the other side. The door open to reveal four other men, “Eisuke, room should be good to go by tonight.” A man in a grey suit with slicked back hair states as he walks in then notices the women. “Who are they?” The next man with orangish hair excitedly moved to her and shakes her hand, “It’s Aria Li, she’s a famous music producer of all range! How do you not know?! Mamoru, Baba tell me you guys have at least heard of her!” The one with a tired expression rubs his head, “Yeah, I believe I have.” The one wearing a red suit and a fedora nods makes a nervous face, “I have as well, but Ota I think you need to let go cause the face she’s making is pretty scary.” Ota looks back to see piercing cold blue eyes looking back at him. That with Aria’s black hair and pale skin made her have a death glare like no other. Thanks to that he immediately lets go apologizing. She goes back to her monotone expression, “It’s fine, I’ve met a lot worse fans.” Mimi claps her hand and turn to Eisuke, “Well Mr.Ichinomiya it seems like you are gonna be busy again. Thank you so much for letting us up here!” Eisuke nods with a smile, different from the gentle one from earlier, but nonetheless a smile. “I appreciate you two coming here.” She then had one more question, “When is the event?”. He answered, “Tomorrow.” Mimi froze and Aria scrolls through her phone and mumbled, “You really shouldn’t have said that…” Her friend then panics, “Aria will you be able to pull that off?!” Aria thinks as she opens the door with her back to everyone , “Challenge accepted. Let’s go.” Mimi runs after her whining her name. “Aww, the pretty ladies are gone!” Soryu rolls his eyes at Baba’s complaint and takes a seat as does Mamoru and the other two. Ota makes a big sigh “I honestly thought my life gonna end.” Baba smile, “She was pretty cute though. I hope we get to see her again.” Eisuke finishes the last his wine, “We will. She’s making a live performance at the event.”

Chapter 2

In the car on the way to the hotel, Mimi talks the whole ride there. She was mostly going on about how she hopes to find the one. “Maybe he will swipe me off me feet and carry me away!” She makes a longing sigh as Aria looks down at her shoes semi listening. “Aria!” Mimi points to the building as many people crowded the door. The car stopped and Aria could hear many calling for her, “I’m gonna assume he told my appearance.” She steps out to flashing lights, “I really wish he didn’t.” Mimi laughed walking beside her in to the hotel. Aria was honestly impressed and that was a pretty hard thing to do. “Like the scene?” A man in a black suit approached with his hand out as a greeting gesture that she and Mimi took, “Quite, it seems like you’ve made quite a name for yourself Mr.Ichinomiya.” He smiles and begins walking, “Shall we?” All three went to where the event was going to be held. Aria asked Eisuke questions as they went through the casino to the event hall, “What kind of feel are you going for?” Mimi wrote down modern classical. “Do you want the music recorded, live, or both?” They find a table to sit at to continue talking. Eisuke crosses his legs, “Both if possible.” Aria nods and Mimi writes more down they go through a series of questions till the drawing board was done. Mimi claps, “Alright, we will send you samples of the music for you to hear.” She then looks to Aria with pleading eyes who shakes her head, “If you don’t mind could we go to the top floor and see the view?” He nods and smiles, “Of course follow me.” He leads them to an elevator, as they went Mimi whispers, “He’s pretty charming isn’t he?” Aria only shrugs, “I guess but I see through that smile. That is not how he actually is.” Mimi pouts “How would you know?” Aria smiles looking to her friend, “Because, I do the exact same thing.” They laugh as they get onto the elevator making their way up. Once there, Eisuke opens the door, “Do make yourselves comfortable.” Mimi immediately heads over to the window kicking off her shoes. Aria also takes hers off and sits on the couch looking around, “I like the way this place is decorated. I might steal from you.” Eisuke smirks handing a glass cup of wine over. “You are welcome to but it doesn’t come free.” Aria scoffs, “Course it isn’t. Oh and just to let you know I have don’t have plans to have romantic relations you.” Eisuke raises an eyebrow having a confident smirk, “I should say the same to you.” He raises his glass and she does the same in a cheers. Mimi sits next to Aria who gives her cup for Mimi to drink some of the wine from. “Good friends?” Eisuke questions. The women don’t even hesitate and both say, “Best friends like sisters.” Aria made a ghost smile while Mimi laughed.

Chapter 1

“Dad stop! Please stop!” “Shut up! You shouldn’t have lived! You shouldn’t have-” “Gah!” Waking up in a panic with heavy breathing, Aria lays in bed staring at the ceiling trying to calm herself down. “It was a dream. Only a dream. Get it together.” Sighing she leaves her bed and heads to the kitchen. Aria didn’t like living in houses so when she made enough to purchase a penthouse it was said and done. She made some tea and got her food journal out and began writing fake entries. Aria has gotten pretty good this and has been able to trick her assistant, Mimi, for a long time. Aria is a music producer so when she works, whether it be at home or with clients, Aria becomes a workaholic. It had gotten to the point that passing out or locking herself in the home studio became a normal thing. Done with her writing Aria looks to her calendar, “Go to Tres Spades hotel to 1.Set up music for event. 2.Be at event in casino.” Aria was not looking forward to the second point for she did not like people. She was aware of her value to men as something to own and the envy of women to be her. Walking to her cabinet Aria takes her medication with the last of the tea then heads off to get dress and ready for the day. As she was getting dressed the doorbell rang, she answers to see Mimi smiling at her, “Morning Ari!” Aria merely grunts and walks off to continue her task. In her eyes Mimi resembled an annoying talkative bird that she only tolerated but couldn’t be without. Mimi and her family were the only people who knew the real her. They saved her and she couldn’t be anymore grateful. “Well at least you made a sound. Ready go to the one and only Tres Spades? So cold!” Smirking Aria puts her jacket and shoes on then stops at the door. “Comin’?” Nodding the two women link arms heading out.

My Sick God

Zyglavis x Kimiko (oc)

It was early in the morning and the sun had not come up yet. Kimiko was sound asleep when she felt movement from the bed. Lifting her head Kimiko sees her god with his hand against his head. Her eyebrows furrows, “Dear what’s wrong?” Zyglavis flinches at her voice, “It’s nothing just a headache.” Sitting fully up she moves closer and moving his hands, “Zyglavis, if it was enough pain to wake you up early in the night then I don’t think it’s a simple headache.” Shrugging he slowly lays back down wincing, “I’m sure it will go away eventually.” Kimiko rolls her eyes with smile, taking her hand to his forehead. A soft glow emits as she lifts most of the pain that he was experiencing. Like that Zyglavis was fast asleep. Once she was done Kimiko noticed that he felt hotter but thought it could be because of the covers and soon falls asleep. Later that morning in the heavens, Kimiko decided to go talk to her cousin’s,Scarlet’s, best friend, Luna, about the situation earlier. Even though she has been living and interacting with the gods, Kimiko still didn’t understand everything with them. She normally goes to Luna for help. “These gods can be stubborn to the core. He may not want to admit it or he is just denying it. He may honestly not even notice cause he’s never been sick before.” Kimiko sighs, “Should I just take him back home? I mean look at him!” She makes an image in Luna’s pool, “He was ok this morning and I tried dulling his headache but now he looks even worse! I’m worried.” Luna looked at her with slight confusion, “Then why don’t, oh I don’t know, you tell him?” Kimiko twiddles her fingers, “I did but but he attempted to reassure me that he was fine.” Her friend give the “Really?” Look and Kimiko leaves heading to the sick god’s room. As she made her way over she runs into Huedhaut. “Kimiko, I was meaning to find you.” She stops to hear what he had to say, “Zyglavis came into the living not looking well as he was swaying and walking was wobbly.” Kimiko eyes widened at the news, it was worse than she thought. “Well, thanks for letting me know. Anything else y’all noticed?” Hue thinks and stated Zyglavis’s feverish red face. He also said that Scorpio followed him to his room in case something happened and to get her. After the update Kimiko enters Zyglavis’s room. He was at his desk clearly struggling to focus. She kneels next to him, “You need to stop.” Zyglavis looks at her, his face flushed red just as she was told. She put a hand to his head and it was evident that he was running a fever. “I promise I will. Just need to…finish-“ Moving his hand away Scarlet pulls him up, “Health now, work later.” She sends them home.

Back at home, Kimiko sits Zyglavis on the bed then removes his coat and shirt. She finds him some light pants to wear cause there was no way her heart would let her and told him to get back in bed. In the kitchen Kimiko begins making food that would help. As the food is heating she hears movement behind her. Arms snake around Kimiko’s waist. “Zyglavis you need to lay down.” She turns to him then immediately blushes realizing he doesn’t have a shirt on. Luckily he didn’t see as he placed his head in neck. Kimiko has rarely ever seen the strict god so helpless. It was kinda cute. She giggles then directs Zyglavis to the couch. The food was done and Kimiko brought it to him with medicine. She had given him so books to read and replaces the cool rag on his head. Zyglavis was not used to the thought of being taken care of but he was surprised at how much he liked it. Kimiko was a quiet and shy girl unlike her cousin. “Kimiko…” Zyglavis calls tiredly for her and she smiles. Kimiko places the food down and takes the medicine pouring it into a spoon. Zyglavis doesn’t look to happy but she makes a pouting please face. Reluctantly he takes it and shivers to which Kimiko smiles then feeds him. Night had fallen and Zyglavis was sleeping while Kimiko was finishing his work. Finally done, he wakes up groaning clutching his head,”My head…” She checks his temperature again which had gone down some but he was still out of it clinging onto her. Soon she was on top of him and about to pass out from embarrassment, “Zyglavis?!” He was fast asleep. “Great now what?” Looking over her god as he slept Kimiko couldn’t help but feel joy that she was able to take care of him all day till he gets better. She kissed she forehead and read a book till she slept.
