Dark blessings shall the Destiny Plume upon thy kindred bring. The force that summons victory, the vessel’s blood to wring. Each life consumed shall stain the feather dark and darker black. Thus shall be forged the Angel Slayer, valkyrie to wrack. One year hast thou to consummate this deed. Else Garm, Hel’s hound, on thy soul shall feed.

Okay, so after getting through my blog, feeling nostalgic I decided to comeback.
Since I retired Misaki and crew from RP after Shintaro, my husband, ( @azure-et-aurum-blog ) decided to not play FFXIV anymore, I'm going to reformulate my blog to get one of my RP characters, I won't archive anything about Misaki and the gang, they're my life, my past. But now I'm going to focus on Oceanne, Ocean as her nickname.
She's a RP Character but I will only write her stories and adventures, I don't have time to RP anymore after becoming a mom almost 4 years ago.
So let's start the new era

Astrologian and Role Play: A Guide on How to Incorporate Your Deck of Cards into Divination and Fortunetelling for RP.
Without giving away spoilers of the class quest chain, it’s safe to say that if one wishes to play an Astrologian in role play (RP) that there are a few key things to keep in mind; astrology in FFXIV is more than a science and study of the stars, it’s a spiritual journey and that spiritual connection is what allows the caster to manipulate aether into casting spells, as well as working succinctly with one’s deck of cards. The spirituality behind the magic is interpretive to the player and how they wish to play their character… including the cards, however, has left a few players stumped on how they can easily incorporate the deck with their role playing.
In a normal deck of tarot cards there are 78 cards and each card has their own unique meaning. There are 22 Major Arcana and 56 Minor Arcana across 4 suits (pentacles, swords, cups, and wands) and each suit refers back to a major element (earth, wind, water, and fire.) However the deck for Astrologians in FFXIV has been condensed to 6 cards with 2 deities per card and each card in the Major Arcana having an element tied to it.
For explanations of each card from the game + pictures of their constellations, visit my previous post (CAUTION, SPOILERS): HERE
When doing tarot readings, depending on the spread that’s drawn (anything from a basic three card spread to something intricate like the Celtic cross spread) each card that is drawn has been pulled in a specific position: Divine (upright) or Reverse (upside down). The card takes on a different meaning depending on the spread and the position.
For FFXIV working with only six cards limits the complexity of a spread, so for the sake of simplicity I’m going to go over the six cards of the Major Arcana and four spreads that can be used in divination.
To continue reading, please click the read more! Just as a forewarning there might be spoilers but I’ll do my best to avoid them if possible.
