Sketch "Ariadne and Dionysus in the form of a Leopard" (2025)

I was busy at the time I drew this, but I had to quickly sketch the idea down before I forgot.✍️😵‍💫💦

I may or may not add Dionysus' retinue since I kind had the idea that Ariadne was exhausted from her ordeal, so Dionysus let's her sleep while he carries her off in a leopard form.

I mean, come on, they're just adorable.

Then of course there is this iconic interaction:

but then, towards the end of the scene, when Arthur is suggesting that Merlin should take the evening off (something Merlin has been asking for forever), we get the most heartbroken expression on Merlin's face and he's got the biggest puppy dog eyes pleading with Arthur not to be sent away. because spending one night without Arthur is the worst punishment he can imagine...
