the last of us season 2 was good ngl, episodes 2, 5 and 6 were my favourites and while 4 was kind of flawed the season as a whole was good

Alright, it's been a bit since my last log, mostly because it's been a bit since I played Violet. I figured I'd check on it, see whether what I saw was just a weird memory thing (even though I had it written down, but eh) because that happens sometimes.

The title screen was the same - no music, but the chimes played. The world though... felt quiet. I tried connecting to the network ingame, but it just said, "Unavailable, please try again later." which sucks but that's the way the cookie crumbles.

Whatever, right? I just go and grind up my not-as-new team through the offline raids' XP candies, and while the teammates are dumb they're not going to attack me.

Still, something was nagging at me - was Miraidon okay? I'd been gone a long time - I've been playing a lot more Cookie Run: Kingdom recently, and I'm thinking of making a video based on the problems I have with Arena, mostly the simple fact that the best cookies are really hard to obtain (I love Pure Vanilla, have since I started, but his Compassionate form is NOT easy to get) - and that "Tainted" remark resonated with me.

I checked its profile and... the same was there. Stage one, specific item and all. But online, there was no information on this "Tainted" bug; still, if I can't fix it now then I can just stasis my team until this blows over. In any case, sorry for the shorter update. Like last time, if you have any ideas on what to do, please give them down below. I posted online about the Plastic Pan in Undertale and was told it wasn't real, but that's what happens. (side note: please tell me you can explain that as well, I'd rather help with Miraidon but if you have any ideas for why that was there feel free to let me know.)

(that analogy got carried away from me, the point is that now ppl have a tierlist and opinions always get people riled up)

[Log Date - 01/01/23]

I'm starting this log as to chronicle a weird glitch I've encountered in the latest Pokémon. Here's the gist:

I was playing Pokémon Violet again because I got bored and figured that my team could use some new composition, so I looked around and started replacing members here and there.

Out came Great Tusk (primeul Tusk as my friend named 'em), in came Garchomp. Out came Ampharos, in came Mirai... wait, it goes back to its ride form EVERY time I ride it? Who let that through?!...nevertheless, in came Toxtricity (side note, turns out I just had to look slightly hard to find the other Miraidon and had passed it previously, but that's for another time.)

Anyways, I had my team set up but there were some flaws, and even if I didn't intend to get rid of Meowscarada I figured I could have a look at Amoonguss, because A) haha, GET OUT OF MY HEAD GET OUT OF MY HEAD GET OUT OF MY HEAD, but also B) it's fast enough with some set up to pose a genuine threat with Spore.

After EV training the team a bit (aka getting bored after about 10 moves a piece) I went looking for the Amoonguss I wanted. But that's when I came across... it.

It wasn't a normal Amoonguss, almost like it had had lasting effects from Salt Cure, but eh - stylish. Regardless, when I tried using Let's Go because it was a little freaky, Miraidon refused. I knew it wasn't shiny, so what was the holdup?

Regardless, I figured I'd just hit it with something like Power Gem (I was planning to get rid of it soon, since I didn't need it for anything besides a Bug type that somehow had taken out the entirety of the rest of my team, which... not gonna happen, be real.) but that's when things really got weird.

The thing had 0 HP. Not like I could see the number, but with an empty health bar that'd be redundant. Despite this, it managed to outspeed Miraidon by some miracle and landed a Spore. But... this wasn't just a "Spore". It was some kind of move that almost seemed like a typo, being "Spores".

The effect was mostly the same, but instead of falling asleep, the game pointed out that Miraidon was "in a deep sleep" which, again, a little freaky, but nothing major. After this, the game closed randomly. I hadn't managed to faint it; then again, could I have? I mean... it was technically fainted prior, so I guess I won automatically - but that's besides the point. What matters is what happened when I reopened the game.

The title screen was silent, or maybe I just had a weird audio thing; the chimes still played, plus when I loaded in everything was fine audio-wise. However, when I checked around me... the Amoonguss was gone. This was strange, since I thought Pokémon would respawn upon reloading a save at least, shiny hunters always SAID to save.

What was stranger was that... Miraidon was still asleep. Now, if it was really before the battle, it shouldn't have had time to autosave, but maybe the game was weird. Even so, I checked it out since maybe it was just a visual glitch, but...

...the summary page was off.

In it, it had a little note at the bottom, in almost illegible text just stating one message:

"Tainted - Stage: 1. Curable if given a certain item."

Now, I looked this up and nothing useful. What the hell did "tainted" mean anyway? Probably nothing - Miraidon LOOKED fine.

That's where I last saved. Will update if anything changes, or if I fix this stupid bug. Send in advice if you've seen this before, cause I've got a weird feeling this is time sensitive.

dewey would have either a lucario or a toxtricity cause he's super loyal and lucario would know he meant no harm and toxtricity I mean COME ON

patti gives off major roserade vibes, like the expression roserade has is just patti incarnate

ned would have something like a klefki or something like Larry, he's just like that... until the end of the musical, in which he obligatorily gets an obstagoon, I WILL not accept questions

now for the kids, we first have the main guitarist zack.

zack attack could have a bunch of pokemon, but ludicolo or something is just goofy and is also quite rhythmic

or he could get a pokemon like theivul due to him being arrested for stealing guitars which is kinda ironic when you think about it

katie says like 8 words total in the movie (count every word she says in the entire runtime) so she's probably got a hidden legendary or mythical so katie gets meloetta

(this IS about the musical versions of people, but katie BARELY gets any solo lines in the musical too, i think it's a total of around 3 and that's including SOLO song lines)

alright, I could phone it in and give freddy a rillaboom because are you kidding me they're both drummers-

freddy is a bit erratic isnt he? hes gotta have a fast pokemon and boltund is kinda boring so were going with manectric

alright, last but certainly not least, mr cool.

he's known to be socially awkward for at least part of the musical (at least i think he is, he says one of the reasons why he doesnt think he should be part of the band is because his only friend is tomika who doesnt speak) so i think a pokemon like slowbro would fit cause slowbro would remind him to calm down and NOT roast dewey (yeah he was told to do so but DAMN)

although maybe he'd want a pokemon like chatot to talk to

or maybe at the end of the musical he'd want a growlithe

summer hathaway would have a gardevoir because I said so also look at gardevoir and it's commanding aura and TELL me summer would not wanna help ralts become big and strong

haha, i know what you're gonna say, squawkabilly and stuff, but really, FURFROU. also, vivillon is so cool looking and it has so many designs so yeah

mason/mary would have an organised chaos pokemon, but since that doesn't exist they're getting the next best thing, porygon-2 due to me liking its design more

here's the big one, TOMIKA. now, there's a ton I could give, hell, I could even give chatot to her too, but there's a few I have in mind, mainly altaria due to it having a beautiful soprano voice. tomika isn't like HIGH high pitched but she's able to do that kinda pitch I believe (b/c of what dewey says in parents night, unless that's about marcy/shonelle, one sec)

(uhh its not in the script but I remember dewey saying something about I THINK tomika being able to hit a note that's real difficult to hit)

she gets primarina since she's the lead singer kinda (dewey also)

marcy and shonelle could likely have a duo, but there really aren't any duo pokemon besides non vocals related duos and I don't wanna do repeats so I'll be back

wigglytuff and skeledirge also wow there are more singing starters than you'd expect

the final one I'll do for now is rosalie, who would just have eevee, until dewey brought her back a bit, at which point it would become a jolteon in an ideal world but if jolteon has mood swings she'd want something like a pikachu or mareep

if it was pikachu it'd become the partner pikachu and be able to learn some real cool moves, and mareep is just so fluffy

maybe I should've worded it differently, Stick It To The Man is the Greninja of School of Rock - not overrated - as much, Charizard is still rated highly because its cool, and very much a permanent team member, only comparable to a Pokemon like Talonflame which in this case is Where Did The Rock Go although maybe SITTM SHOULD be Charizard with Greninja being Dewey's Confession

though D.C is my favourite overall SoR song so maybe it should be Vileplume instead
