Catherine   ,   though  far  from  SENTIMENTAL   ,   does  have  her  moments  now   &&   again   .   During  one  of  these  momentS   ,   long  ago   ,   she  had  a  necklace  made  as  a  way  to  MEMORIALIZE  the  brother  she  never  knew   ,   and  never  truly  cared  to  meet   .   Through  the  years  the  item  has  been  made   &&   remade   again   &&   again   due  to  being  worn  daily   ,   often  in  less  than  ideal  circumstances   ,   but  the  design  always  hovers  close  to  what  it  once  was   ;;   A SHIP  ,  A COMPASS  ,  AN ANCOHOR   ,   one  of  the  items  somehow  always  keeping  the  other  two  apart   .   Connected  by  a  thread   ,   &&   yet  never  the  two  shall  meet   .

At  some  point  after  her  father  took  the  THRONE   &&   Cat  resigned  to  playing  along   ,   there  was  a  brief  design  change   .   The  clunkier  version  that  she  usually  wore  was  replaced  by  a  far  more  delicate  piece   ,   a  replica  of  the  ship  where  GAVIN MACLEOD  spent  his  final  moment   .   The  new  fixture  didn’t  last  long   ,   the  weak  rose  gold  chain  snapping  during  one  outburst  or  anther   ;;   But  the  small  ship  that  it  held  can  still  be  found  somewhere  on  Catherine’s  person  at  all  times   .
