How to tell that it's getting bad again:
- I sleep to much or not at all -I eat too much or too little -I sound disinterested in everything -Be spaced out a lot - I will ramble a lot or not talk at all -I lose track of time - I make cynical comments, usually about myself -I push people away -I tend to rub my eyes and head a lot -I avoid eye contact -I am always shakey -I will avoid certain conversations

Ramen is already awesomely delicious, but Singapore-based artist Cynthia Delaney Suwito’s Knitting Noodles project elevates delicious noodles into edible art. She took an “instant” food and put it to use in a way that requires she be patient and careful, which in turn urges the viewer to slow down as they watch the methodical noodle knitting process:

The “Peekaboo” Escape Mechanism
I finally understand it. The Peekaboo Escape Mechanism
One of the common games to play with babies is to hide your face behind your hands. To babies, if they don’t see something then it must not exist to them. So by putting up your hands to block them from seeing your face, you don’t exist to them. This game is called “Peekaboo”. There are people who use the Peekaboo Method in order to avoid addressing their problems, by putting an invisible hand between themselves and the problem. If they do not see their problem, or talk about their problems, then it must not exist. The only issue that babies don’t understand is that just because you do not see or address a problem, doesn’t mean that it doesn’t exist.  Some people even go as far as using the Peekaboo method on others. When they are told something about themselves or their actions that they don’t like to hear, they put an invisible hand between themselves and another person, pretend they don’t exist just because you’ve cut communications with them out of fear of continuing to hear something they don’t like to hear about themselves that could be true. The problem with this is these people think that they can just lower their hand at any time and expect everything to be just fine. Bottom line: Your problems don’t go away just because you pretend they do.They leave when you’ve addressed them and solved them.  And I may not be there when you decide to put your dissociative hand down.
