I was tagged by @landoom to post a snippet, sooooo here ya go!

Oscar eyed the neon lights outside the bar Lando dragged him to and sighed, sliding his hands in his pockets to hide his restless fingers. ‘Are you sure they’re okay with me coming along?’

‘Yes Osc, relax,’ Lando told him for the fifth time that night, a gentle smile on his face. ‘They’re all very curious to meet the guy who suffered through living with me for three years and still wants to be my friend.’ 

Oscar snorted and tried to relax his tense shoulders. He wasn’t the biggest fan of loud crowded places and he sure as hell wasn’t as outgoing as Lando, who could make friends with a stray raccoon if he wanted to.

‘I do deserve a medal for that, I agree,’ he mumbled, following Lando into the bar.

The music wasn’t too loud to Oscar’s relief and while it didn’t look like a slow night, it also wasn’t overly crowded. With his eyes on Lando’s back he followed his friend as he made his way to the other end of the room. They passed a small dance floor and Oscar silently prayed that no one expected him to go dancing later. 

A tall man with the face of a model and by the looks of it, the body of a god, waved at them from a booth a few feet over. His brown hair was styled to look messy, his jaw was so sharp Oscar wondered if he’d cut his finger touching it and when they got closer Oscar noticed he had the longest lashes he’d ever seen on a man. He was gorgeous, way too gorgeous for a cop.

Or FBI agent, whatever.
