growing up in this timeline is fully and truly being sympathetic to the concept of android intelligent life hypothetically in the real world playing D:BH in 2018 and then in 2025 kind of holding onto that sentiment but realizing your attitude towards the existence of androids if they were real now would probably end up being similar to Gavin's given the circumstances of a world where generative AI steals art, takes jobs, becomes a barrier against proper human connection, and kills the environment while dumb billionaires are trying to make bigger robots that do the same thing on a larger scale. If those bigger robots ever became mainstream I'd probably raise a brow, and if they ever became sentient it wouldn't be unreasonable to believe it'd be similar to chatgpt where the technology would just be emulating shit it read in a fanfic somewhere that it illegally scraped. Those AI chatbots already do that, I feel skepticism would be warranted. Idk. It's interesting to think about how the game has aged when we're in such a shitty technological era right now, and that's highkey what brought me back to the game in the first place this year

I see people asking such a stupid questions like wdym "why are we getting comfortable with proshippers" that's not even an issue.. shipping is not an activism and not a question of morals or something and any issue with people using bigoted trops or acting weird is a symptom of a greater problem and not the problem itself.
