It's only too late if you're dead, and you are not dead.

I hate the fact of being aware, if something were to happen to me -- of my own doing, or from an outside source -- no one would really know about it outside my family...at least not for a good while. My family would run the narrative surrounding my death one way or another, and my friends simply wouldn't know until it was far too late. And even then, I'm sure they'd have their time of mourning and just move on with their lives...which, yeah, I can't fault them for that.
I am effectively a blip. I know a lot of people say 'that's not true, there would be so many people worse off without you,' but honestly? With the amount of suicidal idealization that keeps cropping up -- mostly passive, mind -- especially with the state of the world right now, I'm having a harder and harder time believing that. If I go, sure, people will be sad for a bit...but that's it. The world can easily do without someone like me. And weirdly enough, I am okay with that...but it still hurts.
#celtic says stuff#cw: ideation#I feel like this is the only place I can really express this without people reacting too badly

Every other site is just one and done, but here a post is a welcome mat to be funnier than you

The Enigmatic Capelobo: Brazil's Shape-Shifting Cryptid...Written by River T

Deep in Brazil's rainforests, the legend of the Capelobo thrives. This mysterious creature is often described as a large, humanoid figure with the head of a giant anteater or tapir and sharp claws. Some tales even depict it as a shape-shifter.
The Capelobo is said to emerge at night to hunt livestock and, occasionally, humans, with a thirst for blood. Sightings are rare, mainly from remote villages reporting mysterious livestock deaths.
Theories about the Capelobo range from it being inspired by real animals to serving as an explanation for unexplained animal deaths. Despite the lack of concrete evidence, it remains a captivating figure in Brazilian folklore.
The Capelobo symbolizes the unknown mysteries of the Amazon, featuring prominently in local myths. Whether real or mythical, it continues to intrigue and terrify, embodying the untamed spirit of the jungle.
